Genesis landscaping company that our HOA uses has done a great job keeping our community looking clean and well-maintained. The lawns are always neatly trimmed, and the flower beds look vibrant year-round. We really appreciate their consistent work and attention to detail.

Genesis takes care of a community in Gilbert for us. The Board and homeowners are pleased with the performance of Genesis, as are we. We have found them to be responsive, proactive, and professional in all respects. We will bid to them at other communities when opportunities arise and would recommend them to others.

I have worked with Genesis Landscaping for numerous years, their crew is amazing. I have worked with numerous account managers and sll seem to be very responsive. Chris Igleski is quick to respond and is on top of his game.

I’ve had great experiences with Genesis over the last decade. They have a great executive team, who lives, figuratively eats, and sleeps landscaping! When looking for a qualified landscaper, Genesis should absolute be on your list.

Gotta love it when you start your Monday morning off with a woodchipper directly in front of your house going full steam at 7 o'clock. Thanks for that.

    Highly recommend!

I’ve used this landscaping company for maintenance & several larger projects now, and every time they’ve gone above and beyond. The crew is always on time, professional, and super easy to work with. They cleaned up everything after the job and made sure I was happy with how it turned out.

Our yard has never looked better — they transformed it into a clean, functional space I actually enjoy spending time in. You can tell they take pride in their work, and it shows in the details.

If you're looking for a reliable, hardworking landscaping team that does great work without the nonsense, this is the one to call.

I've worked with Genesis for over two years. I can attest that there is no other company in the landscape industry that compares to the work they do.

The absolute worst landscaping (if you can even call them landscapers) our grass has been dead for almost 4 years along with the unbelievable amount of grass, leaves and dirt they just blow up into your yard is ridiculous. Don't worry though they still half ass drive the mower over our dirt patch every Tuesday. The fact we pay this company to maintain our community is crazy. I literally watch them blow all kinds of junk into every yard instead of cleaning it up like a good landscaping company would do. This company sucks and the employees clearly don't care and are lazy.

Blocking the bike lane, parked in front of a no parking sign. Wonderful.

(In all seriousness, please inform your employees that bike lanes are not parking spaces.)

Update after owner's response: I understand that some places are hard to access and it is hot outside, but there was a street (Vera Ln) right around the corner where they could have parked. They also parked on a curve, so if I was to swerve into traffic and a car comes from behind, they have no way of seeing me behind the truck and that's an accident right there. As a frequent cyclist, I have had many near misses from people who do this, as well as known lots of people who have gotten hit by cars because of bike lane blockers. I politely ask that you refrain from blocking bike lanes, as this practice is far more dangerous than you'd think. Thank you.

    UPDATE AS OF 7-31-2024:

Found them parked and blocking both the bike lane and the sidewalk, this time in the same spot on the other side of the road. A "No Parking" sign was right in front of their windshield, and right around the corner, yes, a single 90 degree turn away, was a legal and safe parking spot with no bike lane-absolutely no excuse for this! Took two photos to report, then as I was riding away the crew drove up in their truck up next to me and asked me why I was taking photos of this. Absolutely unprofessional behavior and I feel flabbergasted knowing my comments left about this prior have been ignored. Just because they have a job to do is no excuse to violate the bike lane, especially when there is a legal parking spot right around the corner. Please speak with these guys about the fact that the bike lane is just as important as the rest of the road. I don't park my bike in the middle of the traffic lane, so what gives you the right to park your trucks in mine? No parking means no parking. Thank you.

On 9/13/22, the landscaper was lawn mowing right behind my backyard and branches hit and flew into my window including a few small rocks. This was due to poor clean up from 9/12/22 when they trimmed up all the bushes and left branches and rocks everywhere on the grass, so of course its not a good idea to mow over these things. This caused the problem. I didn't appreciate the lie that the supervisor came to knock on my door because I was here all day and so was everyone else in the family, so they must have went to the wrong address because it wasn't this house. Will see how tomorrow goes because they are coming to check the damage.

Landscaper was smoking a cigarette while using a chainsaw to trim bushes and edge dry grass. Not only a huge fire hazard, but unsafe for him as well. I wouldn’t even be upset if he were taking a smoke break by the car but doing while you’re working is unprofessional. Genesis landscaping: have a chat with your employees about when it’s acceptable to take a smoke break. It’s wild how much money you charge just to be so careless.

The community Marbella pays this company somewhere around $7000 a month to have yards like look like this. Busted sprinkler head was fixed but he left a mess for me to clean up in the street. One of those not my job moments I guess. Yard is 3/4 dead because their spray tech over sprayed onto my yard trying to spray the crack between the street and the curb and on the rocks up against my house. Whenever the irrigation goes on in the community more than half the roads become submerged causing further damage to the asphalt from years of neglect.

When they go to blow the green waste, they blow everything up under the bushes, which I’ve personally now cleaned out in between my property multiple times and up onto the rocks in between the houses. Why are you guys not blowing into the street and picking up your piles!? I worked in the landscaping industry for over 12 years. This is nothing more than poor logistics, planning and management. This is a prime example of bare minimum.

I remember during one of the HOA meetings with your management team , he said the reason why they’re not doing major overhauls on the irrigation is because people won’t notice the difference in any of the work they’re doing. Well, I’m here to tell you now that yes, there will be a huge difference not only in Water cost but also and not having giant lakes throughout the roads in the community. The amount of damage done to this asphalt and subgrade underneath the asphalt is astronomical and I cannot imagine the amount of money it’s gonna cost to fix these roads. I know you guys aren’t first landscaping company to come in here, but I feel like you guys are giving excuse after excuse, after excuse to not fix a very simple issue. Or just do your job the right way.

Genesis Landscaping cannot cut grass at all! They butchered S Bermuda Dr on both sides.

The workers are the worst, most unprofessional people I have seen. Previously we had Carescape but this company is far worse.

We pay them $40,000/month to take care of our property. I had to seed and water my own lawn on my $$ dime because their “irrigation specialist” can’t seem to get the sprinklers working along the whole lake front.

Once their contract is up we are picking a new vendor.

As a developer who forms HOAs for our projects, we've been using Genesis Landscaping as our regular maintenance company for the past several years. Genesis has continued to provide quality service to our projects. Our builder customers rely on our communities to be in prime condition for their potential homebuyers. Genesis has continued to keep our projects free of weeds and trash, as well as keeping the turf healthy and green, and the shrubs in a hand-pruned, natural state which allows the shrubs to provide color longer while they're blooming. Hand-pruning, allows for a natural appearance as opposed to sheering, which is stressful on plants and immediately sends them into a growth state, which then results in increased water consumption. Genesis has been willing and able to maintain our communities how we want them. I know by experience that HOAs tend to go for the least expensive vendor available (I used to manage). I'm sure Genesis can offer you a lower rate if you need a lower price for your budget. But HOA boards should know that you're paying for the hours that a crew spends on your site. There is no such thing as perfection. If you aren't happy with the service, you either need to adjust your expectations or you need to adjust your budget. That said, there are companies I've worked with that I avoid due to poor service and charge for repairs that weren't necessary. Not all companies are what they say they are. Thus far, Genesis is what they say they are. Their pricing is fair, their service is quality, consistent and reliable.

Outstanding work. They got here on time (actually about 30 minutes early), did a fantastic job adding to our block wall and got done earlier than expected. I highly recommend them!
