We truly appreciate the great service provided by Little John's Lawns. Their clear communication, attention to detail, and transparent pricing make them stand out. It's refreshing to work with a company that is reliable and professional from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Don’t use this company. I hired them to take care of a property I was getting ready to rent and wanted it to look as good as possible. They let my grass die, my hedges die, they’ve left a broken sprinklers leaking. I know they haven’t been servicing my property based on how long certain parts of the remaining grass that they haven’t killed is, yet I get their $83 charge on my credit card every 2 weeks. Almost feels like a scam at this point.

We had 2 services provided
Weed control and spray
Irrigation check up
Both services were professional informatived and did a great job.
Would recommend to all -
I've used Little John's Lawns a few times now. They have always been prompt and professional. They do great work. When they finish it truly is night and day. And they care about satisfaction as well, and guarantee there work. I did have to ask then to come out once for a re-clean after weeding and the weeds were back a few days later. But they were courteous, professional, touched up the areas and I've never had issues since. Honest about they're quotes and are transparent and request consent for any overtime or overages before continuing. 100% would recommend to anyone needing yard work done in anyway.

Awful communication. Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. I asked for a quote which they charge a rather large fee to have someone come out for that quote and it’s not built into your service if you choose. It was approximately $160 or so. Whatever. You’re running a business, you get to charge what you want to, I don’t have a problem with that. However, during that visit to my home we discussed all that needed to happen to my front and back yard. Running a back drip. Running a whole new front drip. Adding a sprinkler to the middle row of my backyard and replacing the sprinkler heads in my front yard. I was told I would get an email with the quote and I agreed to that quote.
The morning my of the service appointment I get a call from Little John’s saying, the actual price would be 3x my quoted price. THOUSANDS of dollars more. I said this felt like a bait and switch and that we should probably cancel everything. They called back with a new quote that was about 2x my original quote and I relented, agreed, and said okay come on by. My mistake.
They started on my backyard and completed that and then I went to discuss where I wanted drips in the front yard which was VERY clearly discussed in the initial consultation. I was told that they would only be doing the backyard for the price I was paying. At the conclusion of their work no one knocked on my door to discuss the work. The sprinkler in my back yard was never added. The front drip was never dug and installed. They did replace my front sprinkler heads and did a good job on those. They installed my backyard’s drip system, however, I have 12-15 naked drip lines coming out of the ground with no emitters. They told me over the phone that’s normal. I’m not a sprinkler or drip system expert but I’ve never seen a drip system in my life look that way. Whatever.
I laughed when they emailed me about lawn care services with the reason that I should choose them being their great communication. Stay far away from this company. -
They tried to overcharge me on hours. Billed for an hour when my camera showed the tech on my property for 25 minutes. Untrustworthy.
In response to owner:
They bill a certain amount for 30 minutes and then charge per hour after that. The consultant or whoever said that he was there for nearly an hour so I was billed for the first 30 minutes plus 1 hour on top of that.
100% facts.
Thankfully my camera showed he was only there 27 minutes and they took off the hour. -
Little Johns Lawns has been pretty good to me so far. Excellent customer service and their Irrigation Repair is second to none (shout out to Phil). They may seem pricey, however there are a lot of lawn service company's out there, and I've tried many of them. You get what you pay for is the bottom line. Little John's, IMHO is the best value for the money as a full service lawn service company. Try them out, I don't think you will be disappointed.

I am not a person that reviews businesses as I love small businesses and am laid back when people make mistakes and understand that accidents and misquotes happen. But this company must have been recently been bought from the previous guy because of the most recent bad reviews and my experience.
Our previous landscaper did our yard for just about 6 years and is now no longer during yard maintenance. He recommended Little Johns, so although they were the highest bid we took the recommendation and went with it. They supposedly came to the house twice to give us a quote of weekly maintenance. They also stated as long as the yard was maintained within 2 weeks than they do not do a clean up. Which our yard was pretty well maintained and just recently maintained 10 days prior. They quoted $55 per hour and told us it would be 1-2 man hours per week. Which aligned to what the other landscapers team took for our weekly maintenance. We also purchased a Pre-Emergent Weed Control which cost $147, they sprayed about half of the rocks in our yard. So disappointed with this service.
So the maintenance crew comes and tells my wife, that we only do the front yard and then next week we will do the back yard, so we alternate. That was never explained to us and we have never heard of that, but whatever. It's winter and things do not grow very fast. There was a 3 man team and they took supposedly took 2.25 hours to cut a very small front lawn, trimmed 12 flower beds and 6 bushes. They left leaves on the grass, pushed a pile of debris behind a bush, and broke two landscape lights. At the end of the visit the team awkwardly asked my wife to ask for them the next time, but my wife was too polite to tell them they did not do a good job (I guess that's on us). When I called and emailed, their response was not to fix the solution but say it is what it is. I asked to just pay the 2 hours that was quoted...so they charged me 2 hours x 3 men...but they never quoted that. So disappointed, had 3 other landscapers come to give a bid and what they thought. They all laughed at what they did and that they wanted to charge us over $500 for the subpar service. All other quotes were between $225-275 per month. I believe they are a fly by night company...unlike what their owner states in their proposals and website says.
Wow, that was long. Sorry, so many details and so many ways they could have made it right. I just wanted to warn others and maybe help them be motivated to change for the better. I hope so. -
I had an excellent experience with Little John’s yard cleanup service. The entire process was smooth and professional—from the initial request to execution and billing. The team completed the work exactly as quoted, with great attention to detail.
Keep up the fantastic work! -
I was very happy with your service at our property. You cleaned it up beautifully and it looks so much better. You also knew what the different plants and cactus need.

If i could give less than a 1 star review i would, i called this company because the wire between my timer and valve box was broken somewhere under ground and they said that they had the equipment to track where the break in the wire was and repair the wire, well they get out there and spend supposedly 2 hours out there and just send me an estimate saying that i need a whole new irrigation system, new valve, and new timer, and they didn’t even fix the break in the wire that i originally called them to fix and charged me $243 to do nothing but lie/mislead me and if nothing, so i moved the timer to over by the valve box and just replaced the wire myself, the system worked just fine, the valve was turning on and off as it should, and the timer is working fine, all of the buttons work as they should and the display is working fine so there was no reason to tell me that those needed to be replaced, they system itself had no leaks and they didn’t even dig it up in any spots so there’s no way they could have known the condition of the system to tell me that it needed to be replaced! They lied about everything and tried to tell me i needed absolutely everything except for what i needed, very slimy

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible experience.
We requested no herbicides to be used on the lawn, they said no problem, and they had notes on file. They admit they saw these notes.
First time they come over, they sprayed roundup around my property. We complained, and they didn't offer ANY solutions or reconciliation, and told us we still had to pay them full price - 400$
So much for that herb garden I was going to try and start up while its cool. -
I used to be so proud of my patio but when I broke my ankle I couldn't keep it nice for the last year. Little John's Lawns brought it back to it's beautiful condition! Great job! They were quick and efficient!

My backyard looks amazing! After I put in my inqury Jacy was quick to get ahold of me. I was on the schedule just 2 days later! I came home from work to my back yard looking incredible, above and beyond what I thought would get done. 10/10 would recommend to others!
-
Amazing service and attention to detail! The team was able to get our trees trimmed, rocks cleaned, weeds pulled, and leaves cleaned up in the front, back, and sides of our home in just an hour. Very friendly team and communicative front desk staff.

I’m so pleased with this company! They arrived bright & early, let me know they were here, and got right to work. My yard looks amazing!! They removed plants that I had asked about, previously, without being reminded, trimmed up our many smaller palms in the back & it’s wonderful!

We had landscaping rock replenished and the result looks great! They were on time for the quote and for the delivery/installation. The price was right too, based on other quotes that we got. They really did a great job, I'll definitely reach out to them for any future landscaping projects and would recommend their services.

Little Johns Lawns were professional, knowledgeable, and completed the work with an eye for detail I really appreciate. My yard was well and truly overgrown and they brought it back to order almost magically. I will call them again and would recommend them to anyone for yard clean up or regular maintenance.

Little John's Lawns did an amazing job on my front and back yard! I had major overgrowth of weeds, grass and bushes. They came out and had everything done in two hours and wow it looks absolutely amazing! I look forward to having them come out every two weeks for regular maintenance. Thank you so much! Job well done!

Our backyard was BAD. The weeds had gotten out of control this year, and we weren't sure what to do. The crew from Little John's Lawns worked some serious magic to completely turn the space around in just 2 hours. We were very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Please beware of using this company! This was the most horrendous experience I’ve ever had with an any service provider. From them killing my green grass a couple months in, ruining my agaves, cutting my vines off the wall, to just plain lackadaisical maintenance leaving rocks all over my travertine or leaving an electrical box open with wires exposed after removing a plant… overall the service was abhorrent. I timed them once and they were at my home for less than 15 minutes. While they did rectify some issues by giving me new sod, and replanting a vine and a few other plants they killed… every week would present itself a new issue. They promised, auto payments, GREAT communication, exceptional quality, and 5 star reviews…… they delivered only on automatic payments. The communication was then worst part. Example after 24 days I finally received a response on a simple question that I followed up on every week.
