This was a great experience, hands down. COVID19 has been hitting a ton of small business, to include my wife so I called assuming it would take forever to get our tree removed due to the current situation; not the case at all.

Joe was quick to call, schedule and remove the tree. The day the tree was supposed to be removed, picture below, I was out for a flying lesson at 5:30am from my home. I returned at 8am and the tree was gone. I didn't even notice until I went in my backyard. The team didn't leave a trace. ALL debris taken away, merely small pieces of leaves were all I saw to verify they removed it. That is some CLEAN work! SO fast, that my neighbor asked me for their number as well. 5/5 Work and Team.

Super company to work with. I had two large trees topped off and resized/shaped, the trimmer Hilario did an excellent job. From start to finish he would check to see if I approved of his work. The company and Hilario were very professional. Hilario arrived when they said he would and did a great job of clean-up after the job. I highly recommend Bassett Tree Service, a true five star company.

Joe and Bassett Tree Service are wonderful! Had a quote that was far better than others, they came out and took out two trees in just a little over an hour. They left our yard looking better than befoe they came. Great company! Give Joe a call.

They were on time and priced fairly. At my request they came two times to work on a tree stump we wanted removed. Both visits were scheduled. The person doing the work was professional and careful not to hurt the sprinkler system. I rarely need tree services and didn’t have any contacts in the industry. Glad I called Bassett Tree Service.

Have worked with several arborists during my 27 years in real estate. Joe and his crew at Bassett Tree Service are the best and most efficient group I’ve ever seen. They just removed our 30’ ficus and were in and out in less than an hour, leaving my yard cleaner than when they arrived. Pricing was fair and Joe was great to work with. I had Bassett Tree Service remove 3 pine trees last Tuesday. They did it at a fair price (lower than 3 other companies I called), on time, and all in 90 minutes! They showed up promptly at 8 with a good sized crew. Proceeded to safely cut down the trees, remove the stumps, and clean up our backyard like they were never there. This company was the best as far as communication. The price was fair, the crew was fast, safe and cut down a large pine in my back yard with a power line, a shed and my house right under it. They did a great job.

I recently hired Bassett to cut down a large olive tree and remove five stumps from my front yard. From start to finish, their service was outstanding. They were able to fit me into their schedule within days of my initial inquiry, and they provided a quote based on pictures I sent, making the process incredibly convenient.

Punctuality and professionalism are critical for me, and Bassett delivered on both fronts. They arrived on time and worked efficiently, handling the job with the utmost professionalism. Even when I discovered an additional stump that I had initially overlooked, they took care of it without hesitation since they were already on site.

As someone with high standards and a tendency to be particular, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their work. The cleanup was impeccable, leaving my yard in great condition.

Bassett exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend them for any tree service needs. They set a high bar for quality and customer service, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their work.

Just realized the roots of a 35' tree with an 18" trunk were growing under the sidewalk and likely the corner of house so it was time to do something we hate... seeking a qualified vendor.
Narrowed list to four...
#1 Called Bassett, Joe checked Street View, which was 4 yrs old & tree had grown 5' since so I texted up-to-date photos. Within minutes he provided a guaranteed estimate. He exuded such a confidence I was willing to go with it, but I needed to check with the property owner (my S.O.) so I said I'd let him know.
#2 no answer and full message box
#3. only on-site estimates, (4 days in the future) and likely 3-4 weeks before able to do job
#4. sent photos and described the tree, waited 3+ hours for estimate, which was 35% higher than Bassett's, but in fairness it would include use of a crane. (I'm sure if a crane was absolutely required that the quote was likely fair)
Ok, so I let Joe know Bassett had the job whenever it would fit their schedule. The next day he let me know he could fit it in late the next morning.
Sure enough, within the time window Joe had provided, the crew showed up.
After a quick assessment and setup the complete job took less than 30 minutes, including removing the tree, grinding out the roots, cleanup of EVERYTHING... including leaves wind- blown from the tree into my neighbors yard the previous week.
For taking out a tree within 5' of a fence, 8' of the house and 4' from a carport without ANY damage? That takes a lot of care, definitely above and beyond expectation. Abel and the crew are to be commended!
And finally, as Joe promised up front, "it will look like a tree was never there" which saying something because I AM a stickler for detail.
So, in the end, Bassett was my first call and now from my experience I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you call Joe as the ONLY call to make for tree removal.

9/11/25 These guys removed a 44" stump with difficult access in a planter and did it at a very reasonable price. Hilario the technician was great. Easy to work with.

Wonderful company to work with. Communication was good, they did what they said they would do, and found ways to keep it within my budget. The young men who cut the tree down were quick and very safety conscious. We went with a reputable company because the huge pine tree they took down was close to the house and fruit trees and a fence. Each large branch landed just where they planned. Joe came the next day to grind the stump, and after having a stump ground before by two guys and a truck (not the real name) I saw a professional at work. Thanks Basset tree service.

These guys are amazing! During our landscaping project we found that one of our trees was rotted at the roots, and hollow under the trunk. We had to remove it ASAP to maintain our schedule. I called Joe at Bassett and he had his crew out the next day. Our tree was about 30 feet tall. 7-8 super skilled guys on the crew worked like a well-oiled machine and had that tree completely gone in 20 minutes, and the stump gone in another 10 minutes. Tony was like a cat! In that tree with a chainsaw like it was his second home, whistling while he works - love it! He cut through the limbs deftly, knowing exactly where to drop - the crew caught them mid-fall and put them directly into the wood chipper. One of their guys had the entire tree trunk (6 feet of tree) on his shoulder and walked it around to the chipper like it was nothing. Really?? That thing had to weigh 300 pounds! Just amazing. There was no mess left in our yard or the sidewalk or the street, and you would never know there was a tree there. Our job was just under $400 and well worth it! These guys are fabulous and we highly recommend.

The difference in my olive tree is incredible. It went from bulky and uneven to perfectly shaped and balanced. They knew exactly what they were doing and left my yard spotless. Five stars!

Bassett Tree Service and Joe’s team, Tony Abel Carlos Isaac and Pedro are all fantastic! They offered a great value, showed up early, were professional and got this 40+ foot tree taken down in less than two hours! They cleaned the rooftop and the yard so well that no one would have known there was a tree there! I highly recommend them!

Beyond amazed and grateful. They did showed up early and worked efficiently and professionally to complete the work in an hour! The crew took great care and a watchful eye to keep my 12 year old tortoise out of harms way. I cannot thank them enough.
