Tree reviews in Mesa, Arizona

Happy to give Anthony and his crew a 5-star review! Anthony came out to give me a quote on removing 2 large problematic sissoo trees and the next day they were removed. Everyone was professional and thorough. His prices are reasonable and he is very knowledgeable about what he does. Great job, I won’t hesitate in calling him again!

I meant to write this review last year when Arizona Urban Arborist trimmed my trees in June 2023. I have so many trees! Mexican Fan palms, Date palms, Queen palms, Pigmy palms, Ficus trees. Many are very tall and need to be climbed. Over-pruned palms look clownish to me and I don't think it's healthy for them. Arizona Urban Arborist trimmed them perfectly, 26 trees in total. It looked so good when they were done, it made a dead bush and an overgrown Sago stand out. So they took care of those, too, even though it wasn't in the scope of the job. Even after a long hard hot day, they cleaned up all the debris to my satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I am changing my review as the owner of the company has made everything better. He cares about his company so much that he showed up at my door. He is going to make everything right and replace one of my trees. I absolutely 💯 recommend this company. I hope everyone will consider their company in the future.

They pruned 9 mature trees on our property and did a really great job. Arrived on time with great communication throughout, excellent cleanup, and we will definitely hire them again.

Great overall experience with Arizona Urban Arborist! Burt came to the house to assess a couple trees in our front yard. After some discussion, I decided to have one tree trimmed and the other removed. In its place, we decided to plant a new tree. The quote for all the work was extremely reasonable. A couple days later, Jose and his crew did a remarkable job with all tasks listed on the work order. I plan to use them again and would highly recommend their service.

What a breath of fresh air! I’ve gone through so many landscaping type “professionals” who know absolutely nothing about what they’re planting or what kind of care is required. Just the fact that Arizona Urban Arborist answers the phone, returns calls and shows up for their appointments puts them light years ahead of the rest. They are knowledgeable, courteous and professional. A true pleasure to work with. I’m looking forward to many years of a working relationship with Arizona Urban Arborist.

Arizona Urban Arborists were here today to trim a few large trees and remove some shrubs. What a real pleasant surprise to experience knowledgeable professionals and a crew that really cared about our property. They truly know trees and what is good for them and what is not. The icing on the cake was how clean they left our yard.

From the first discussion through to today, Burt and Anthony demonstrated their knowledge and passion for their work, and I will happily use them again and recommend them with no reservations.

Last month I shared a review about Arizona Urban Arborist. I couldn't be happier to share another update that they installed a new front yard landscape for me.

Anthony did a great job designing it and the crew worked very hard in the heat for four days putting everything together. I could have a big company do it, but I chose AZ Urban Arborist because they are a small business and they do care about their employees. They are willing to work with my budget. I plan on hiring them to finish our backyard. I received so many compliments in person, calls, and texts from friends and neighbors. What set AZ Urban Arborist apart from other landscapes businesses based on the following qualities that this business Arborist represent all. If you would like to redo your yard, give them a call.
1) Integrity
2) Quality
3) Honesty
4) Communication
5) On time and on target
6) Competitive pricing
7) Customer satisfaction
8) Results
9) No sale pressure

The saguaro cactus has been sick for 5 years with full-blown bacteria and decay. The trees are getting too big and might cause damages to roofline, foundation and plumbing. I work with Burt who owns Arizona Urban Arborist and he is VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and wonderful to work with. He took his time to EDUCATE me and gave me Pros and Cons so that I am equipped with the information to make an informed decision. He NEVER tried to sell me anything nor forcing me to make a rushed decision. I finally decided to remove the HUGE pistache trees in the courtyard and the dead saguaro cactus. It took me years to nourish and take care of them and only 2 hours to cut them down. So devastating!!

On a positive note, I have an awesome Arborist, Burt, who is VERY reasonably priced and very kind to work with. He knows A LOT about trees and can help you out. He's a teacher and can educate you on many different levels about trees. I highly recommend Arizona Urban Arborist. This job would have cost $3,000 by other Arborists & Tree company, but I paid way less for a well done job by his team. You will NOT be disappointed with this company. I look forward to working with Burt and his team to get new trees and how to care for them.

Note: They are licensed and bonded!!!

I have two mature trees, a mesquite and a tipu. Anthony and his crew from Arizona Urban Arborists have done wonderful work on them the last few years! Anthony has always taken his time answering any questions I've had before, during and after their work is completed. They are very thoughtful, always checking in with me during the work to make sure I am happy with how it is going. They do a great job cleaning up after. My trees are healthy, and my family has been very happy with their care. I highly recommend them as your "go-to" arborist in the east valley. Thank you to Anthony and his crew with Arizona Urban Arborists!

Anthony provided a Free consultation when
my 2nd set of 15 ficus trees were dying. He provided an excellent assessment and SAVED my trees! I had 3 different arborist companies respond with assessments. Anthony’s was the only honest one and he didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary treatments. I am grateful for all his knowledge and honesty. I can’t recommend his services enough!

Anthony was very professional in all aspects of the process. The bud he gave us was very clear and competitive. His team arrived on time and started the process of removing two huge dead pine trees from a small backyard. He knew what he was doing and so did his team. They were efficient and polite at the same time. Highly recommend Arizona urban arborist.

I contacted TDR Tree Solutions and asked if they could give me a quote for removing a few branches and trimming the willow tree in our front yard. They were able to come the very next morning to give the quote. It was quite reasonable, and they were able to do the work that morning. They also took care of the palm tree in our backyard. I was pleased with the quality of the work and their expediency. I will definitely use them again in the future.

TDR's people were very efficient and thorough. From start to finish it took less than 60 minutes to remove a dead queen palm, remove the stump and thoroughly clean up the area. I highly recommend their services.

Our elderly (and hard-to-please mother) is ELATED! She thought the trees our late father had planted were beyond hope, but Tyler and his team assessed their condition, sculpted them back to beauty, and made recommendations for ongoing water and fertilizing! Fast, professional and compassionate! They left no-trace of mess or debris, only lovely trees and one happy old lady! THANK YOU TYLER AND CREW!

Called TDR when my previous company ghosted. TDR was able to come out quickly, and they trimmed our palm into looking better than ever. Highly recommend, will use again.

There crew came when planned and removed my giant thorned Val Verda tree and stump in one hour. They completely cleaned up the related mess. I would definitely recommend them for the purpose of doing this work. I'll be calling them for my future needs, for sure.

The dead tree removal provided by TDR Tree service was excellent. The company responded quickly to the estimate request, and the quote was very reasonable. Tyler arrived on time and did an amazing job removing the large dead tree that was threatening our home. He worked quickly and safely, and the cleanup was exceptional. The area was left spotless! His professionalism and hard work is greatly appreciated. We highly recommend TDR tree service to anyone needing tree removal or trimming."

Tyler was great! Timely, reasonable and knowledgeable! I appreciate him and his guy removing my tree!

After 10 years in business, TDR Tree Services has mastered the art of reliability. Tyler showed up 15 minutes early for our estimate, gave a no-nonsense quote, and scheduled our palm tree trimming the very next day. No upselling, no hidden fees—just honest, expert work. Arizona is lucky to have a company this dependable.

TDR has been great to work with. They needed to carefully land heavy Acasha branches without hurting the neighbors fence. Well done, i would recommend them to all my friends. Affordable, and prompt. Thank you TDR

Tyler and his team did a fantastic job with removing some trees in my backyard. They were very efficient with their time. The price was extremely competitive and reasonable and the quality of work and cleanliness afterwards was noticed. Great job TDR ! I would highly recommend them.
