The two older men in the garden department were so kind and helpful. There were actually two younger men who also helped.
One of them gave me his trolley so I could load bricks, and then he helped me transfer everything. Later he pushed it to the cashier for me while I went to look for chicken wire. The other gentleman had the younger man assist me getting my two very full carts to an express check out, after I returned to the garden department, but the cash register was closed. Then he walked all the way back to the far end of the garden department to price check when the register rang something up too high. The younger man (2 men) then helped me get it to my car and load it into my car.
    Thank you, all of you.

Well kept and organized. Fresh plants. Tend to overwater plants that are easily rotted such as plumeria.

Yeppers, always great service, customer centered, polite and easy to converse with everyone, and not just because I'm pretty much a happy high energy guy. Love it!!!

    Poor service,
Lady who doesn't need her name out there was short and had a poor attitude. Rushing me on the phone.. Just not like dealing with a person who is happy to help.. Was if she was being bothered to answer the phone..

Recently used the household hazardous waste pickup. The reservation system was simple and I received a quick response. They picked up on the scheduled day. Great program.

Ordered 2 new trash bins and was on and off the phone in only about one muinte. Very helpful customer service, and by far the best solid waste devision I have seen. Definitely recommend them!

Told by City service rep to put horse poop in plastic bags before putting in the garbage cans. Seriously?!? She then explained that "The City of Peoria has not gone green yet."

Driver never attempted to take crushed cardboard along side the container just drove by and then refused to even look at me when I went out to get his attention to take it. The truck number 1684 was the driver that could give a crap about picking up what is left out.
Really poor excuse for customer service

Won't pick up the trash because the neighbor parks too close to the can on purpose even hitting the can damaging it multiple times now. Waste management Neglecting to get out and move the can or write up the vehicle owner for parking in front of the can is just plain unprofessional and their own fault.

They continuously either skip the trash or recycle can each week. We put the cans on the curb, 4 to 6 ft apart as requested and even bag our recycles but still can't get them to pick up. To bad there are no other options to compete with such poor service. They quick to take that monthly bill money on time though...

Peoria is a poorly managed city, and waste services is no exception. They continuously fail to collect trash and then send you threatening notices when you leave your bin out in the vain hope that maybe they'll come tomorrow. Their customer service lines that they tell you to call are all disconnected. Ironic that a waste management service should perform like actual garbage.

Once again my trash wasn’t picked up for some reason. My trash container was on the street Thursday evening. This is not the first time I have had poor service. Maybe if the personnel was paid according to customer service they might do a better job. Since they run a monopoly they can treat the customers poorly. Now I have the entire weekend with a full container and no place to put my trash. I called the customer service number early enough Friday and of course no one picked up the telephone or returned my call. There should be an alternative to the City of Peoria trash collection. I guess someone might call me Monday with a reason why the lazy city employee couldn’t help out a customer so I could have trash pickup.

If i could rate zero stars i would. I walked outside today to see my recycle can still full as always, it usually takes 3 full weeks for the driver to actually empty it because he is in such a hurry. Most of the other houses have there cans dumped on there sides in their yards, literally thrown off the truck. Also every house that the trucks stopped in front of has trash in front of it. Going to have the best time today sweeping up cat litter and broken glass from in front of my driveway on a sprained ankle. But i suppose you dont have to care about doing a good job when no one has a choice to use your services.

I could rate the city services here in Peoria a 0 I would. This is the worst city I've ever lived in when it comes to service specifically the Solid Waste dept. When you go directly to a supervisor and try to file a complaint because the driver operator didn't pick up your trash or only picked up a quarter of your trash or knock something down, whatever it may be they'll take your complaint but they tell you they will give you absolutely no proof that you filed that complaint so you are forced to go to City Hall and make the complaint official. Then the drivers operators retaliate once you file a complaint and either miss your trash only pick up a quarter of your trash leaving you too have to call the city for a supervisor to come out and pick your trash up. So they make it harder on themselves when they try to retaliate. The solid waste department here has proven over and over again that they despise the people that they serve. The City Hall staff is very professional so I would give the City Hall a five but services in the city is a nightmare.

Today is extremely windy. Went out to bring in my two bins. Garbage truck was across the street. When I turned around to get the second bin here was the driver bringing it in for me. He said, " I saw you struggling." What a great gesture. Number on his truck was 2753. I hope you have a recognition program for these great people!
