My scheduled day is Wednesday. Dude rarely ever shows up on that day. The last 4 weeks he has asked me to unlock the gate bc his truck is apparently still in the shop and his key is in the truck. They leave all of their trash in my backyard - thanks for leaving the old vacuum on my porch next to the Hayward box. Looks real cute.

I’ve had pool service with Platinum for years. The company is great to work with but the real reason I keep my service with Platinum is because my technician Dylan is one of the best. He’s professional, knowledgeable and very polite when he’s here. He always keeps me updated on the status of the pool and fixes things as needed. Dylan is an awesome service provider. If you want to great pool service, ask for Dylan at Platinum.

These guys come out pretty often just to keep things nice and clean. I just had Drew come out and in the middle of the day heat, he cleaned our filters. Very nice guys and I usually don’t even notice them working.

I hired Platinum Pool Care to resurface my existing Cool Deck and acid wash + chem-start my pool. Ask for DREW! Drew did a phenomenal job. My cool decking looks brand new! He was informative and friendly from the start and took such extreme care of my turf and other surrounding surfaces! He worked with incredible attention to detail and the job shows it! I couldn't be happier with Drew's work! I've been a Realtor for 20yrs in the valley. I would recommend Platinum Pool Care to anybody without hesitation. Thanks Drew! Tragic, horrific, just plain awful!!
Hired Platinum to take care of our pool while out of town for the summer, HUGE mistake.

In order to avoid "he said/she said" I've uploaded our Ring videos for the past 7 weeks to YouTube, Google won't let me put the links directly into this review so please go to YouTube and query "Platinum Pools Phoenix".

Low Lights:
• Reviewed their last 8 visits - total time of service is 31 minutes or just shy of 4 minutes a visit. Not enough time to do all the work they claim they do.
• Only measured the pool chemistry 1 time (8/14) in those 8 visits – and yet they reported perfect chemistry in their reports, every week! Imagine 7.4 pH for 8 straight weeks.
• Only added other chemicals 2x in 8 weeks (8/14 & 8/21)
• In-ground cleaning system pump motor had not been operational since at least 8/7 (it also operates the waterfall which was never working in any of the videos), so no in-ground cleaning for 8 weeks. Never heard from them regarding broken equipment.
• Technician only cleaned one of two clean-outs, for all 8 weeks.
• Only brushed steps once (8/7) and never brushed waterline tiles & walls – but they stated they did each week in their report.
• They only use Chlorine tabs, no granular Chlorine– this creates extremely high Cyanuric Acid (CYA) levels, which is why my pool is off the charts on CYA

How did they perform against their contract commitments:

• Brushed waterline tile and walls – not once in 8 weeks
• Inspected equipment – nope, never happened
• Emptied Pump/Equipment baskets – nah
• Skimmed leaves – winner, winner, chicken dinner, must give them credit for doing one thing.
• Emptied Skimmer baskets – well, sort of. There are two baskets, one for the surface and one for the in-ground cleaning system, the tech only emptied the surface basket; not once in 8 weeks did he empty the in-ground basket.

Platinum Pool Care, with Adam as the Project Manager, were FANTASTIC! Adam came out the first week of December 2018, gave us an estimate to refinish our deck, tear out the plaster and re-pebbletech the pool, install a new filter, and clean and seal our rock waterfall. The price was competitive! The work was completed within 3 weeks, BEFORE Christmas as promised! And the work was beautiful! Everything that was quoted was done perfectly, and we will soon be swimming in our brand new pool! Thank you Adam and Platinum Pool! I would highly recommend their pool design/refurb services!! It is always such a pleasure to do business with a company that does exactly what they promise!
