Sent a subcontractor to do the work. The electrician was very late to both scheduled appointments, and the work was sloppy. I had lights/switches installed in my closets - the switch was slanted in one closet, and installed upside down in the other closet.

Had A & L Electricians Upper West Side came and did some electrical works. They showed up bright and early, were very friendly to deal with, work efficiently and cleaned up after themselves.

Prompt & Thorough company! I would hire A & L Electricians Upper West Side for all my future electrical work. They are Reliable and professional technicians. Good communication and accurate analysis of the electrical problem. Highly recommended!

Emergency issue in a new condo, so had to search for a new electrician. Electrician came out pretty quickly (or else this would be 1-star) and charged me $160 to tell me to call ConEd. This would be fine if I didn't have ConEd come out to tell me that I needed to call an electrician, not their issue...

Also just not a lot of information when I called about the process, whether or not electricians are licensed. Didn't get a great feeling...

DO NOT USR THEM! I was having an issue with one of the lights on my living room track lighting system. The ultimate solution? Move one of the working lights into the position of the light that wasn't working, now leaving a new vacancy. The price of unscrew one light and screwing it into the other position? $275. Cash. On the spot.

I just moved into my new apartment and hadn’t had a working dryer for about five days. No one from our maintenance was able to fix it, however, They contracted AEC To come check on it. The issue ended up being so bad to the point to where someone would actually have to come in and rip up the drywall to rewire everything. Mark from the company was able to find a solution and came back First thing in the morning to fix it for me before I was even awake. I can’t thank Mark enough and I sincerely appreciate this company for coming in clutch.
