I use Madeline's at Desert Horizon Apartment Homes for turn cleans. Great communication back and forth. Really nice on the phone when were scheduling.

This company was referred to me by my apartment complex. So I went with them over other companies. I work in property management myself for a nationwide company. I was told $125 over the phone unless more work was needed then they would contact me. I heard nothing so I assumed all was well. They never contacted me when they arrived or left. This was yesterday. I went back to the apartment that afternoon/evening as did my roommate Ans we were shocked. Floors dirty. Baseboards not touched. Turns out they do not clean walls either. They were hired for a deep clean/move out clean. Counters still dirty. I took pics and followed up with the “man in charge” and he said he would send someone back over, but that they do not clean walls, they would need to be painted. I was never told this on my pre walkthrough with my complex (who I loved, great complex and management). But that was fine. After maintenance agreed to him (I have not spoken to them myself yet) that the walls would need to be painted he informed me he would NOT be going back to touch up what was still not cleaned properly and that he was also charging me another $55 even though I still have not received an invoice, though he happily charged my card anyways. And has blocked my phone number. I have the pictures and the texts from him that were very unprofessional once I stated I felt it was unfair to charge me extra with no proof of working extra hours, a still dirty apartment and no call to tell me this yesterday before going over the time we discussed and the amount to be paid. I felt very taken advantage of after trusting this company and providing my card information.

This is the text from me that triggered a very unprofessional response from this man after a cordial conversation:

“Yet I have no way of knowing when you went into the apartment or left. Can that be confirmed? And no one reached out to tell me this. I had to contact you. And now that I have complained that the apartment wasn’t up to standard, I feel I am being charged more. This is so unprofessional.
I am in property management and have worked with many cleaning companies over the years and have never dealt with anything like this. So now I’m being charged more by you and I’m sure the complex will be charging me for more cleaning since you aren’t returning. “

This is his response to me:

“Listen Billie!

I am one of the most easy-going human beings on this planet, but you’ve pushed my buttons sweetheart !!!

We have been doing this for years and years and years. We are one of the best cleaning companies in Arizona. I can send you pictures of your filthy apartment that was cleaned yesterday. You’re getting charged accordingly. I don’t know what your dissatisfaction is, I can tell by looking at the pictures of your walls alone that you were a slob. We are going to invoice you accordingly. The property is going to have to paint the apartment regardless because of your filth and the way you live. Unfortunately, you don’t take care of your residence very well, so you will get charged accordingly by us. Please do not ever contact us again !!!! “

Let me clarify. We lived in that apartment for a year. With a dog for the first 3-4 months. And 4 people total living there throughout that year. It was not perfect and it definitely needed a deep clean after a year of just regular basic cleaning. This was a roommate situation. It was not disgusting as he stared and he would not send these “pictures” he has of how “disgusting” he claims it was. I wasn’t told I was being charged more until I complained. I was polite and never disrespectful as this man was.

So now I am out $180 with no invoice. And my apartment is still dirty and I will be charged more fees because of that.

For some reason I cannot post pictures. But I will once I figure out how as I have never left a negative review for a company. Ever. That’s how upset I am by the way this was handled. I didn’t even ask for anything from him, such as a refund. Or to even go back. He offered that. Then took it back.

They are the service for our senior community. How can you clean mop and vacuum 5 floors in 15 minutes? No one speaks English. Always on their phones. In and out. We haven had a thorough cleaning 2 years. Have addressed it with management over and over but it has fallen on deaf ears.

After having the floors replaced in my home there was a layer of dust on everything. Found Madeline's Meticulous online and will be using them for all my cleaning needs! Great prices, house was spotless.

A woman named Marta cleaned our home and she was amazing!!! Everything is spotless, she paid attention to the smallest details, and she was nice when I ran into her as she was leaving. Definitely will be requesting her again :)

6 months since I had my carpets cleaned by Horton, EXCELLANT cleaning!, carpets dried fast, my carpets still look good. Very friendly and knows what he is doing.

The owner was very professional. Not only did my carpets turn out wonderfully, but he also explained how to properly pick up spills in the future. I will definitely hire him again!

All I can say is wow! I've used so many carpet cleaning companies over 30 years here in the Valley...when I was a Realtor for a decade and having many home based businesses. I wanted a "green" service company that wouldn't use harsh chemicals. Horton's exceeded my expectations. They did about 900 SQ FT of carpet with staining. Took about 3 hours. ZERO staining left. Carpets look new. I won't hire anyone else in the future. Always will be a Horton's customer. You should be one as well

5 Star Service! Cleaning by Lita has been cleaning our 20k square foot manufacturing warehouse 3 times a week for over 3 years. The level of service and attention to detail is remarkable. Our shop shines because of Lita and her crew! It's hard finding a reliable, trustworthy and detailed company, but I am so glad we found Cleaning by Lita. They have our business forever!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to resolve it as I hoped we would. I wanted to get my upstairs (4 beds & hallway) carpets cleaned as my fiancé and her two kids were moving in with me. My carpet guy, Bill, was out of town so I resorted to giving a new company (Brian) a shot. The work was scheduled for a Saturday (two weeks ago) at ~4pm. That morning I was south of Phoenix helping a friend move, but I had timed everything so that I would be home before 4pm to meet the carpet guy (Joey). That morning, while moving boxes, I received a call from Brian, asking if Joey could come early. I figured why not, since my fiancé was going ti be home unpacking. After helping my friend I arrived back home and Joey was just about finished with his work. As he packed and left I was rehydrating as it was a warm day to be moving boxes. At a glance the carpet looked good, so I did not think twice about it, based on my years of positive experience with other carpet cleaners. Once cooled off I began walking around the bedrooms. I asked my fiancé if they had slid some of the furniture out to get to all of the carpet. My fiancé told me that Joey told her that he does not move furniture. So, she told me she was the one trying to move furniture. This was odd as all of my experiences with carpet cleaner entailed them using sliders or other purposeful plastic materials to easily move my furniture around the room. I’m not talking about needing to
Lift heavy things, but to instead work smart to slide furniture around. This was the first time I had heard that the carpet cleaner does not move furniture. The idea that anything 20s man would tel my fiancé that they do not move furniture is one thing, but I saw the pain in my finances face. Her back was sore and she had to set aside her tasks to focus on moving furniture, boxes, and other stuff that I had been planning to do later that afternoon at ~4pm. I felt guilty for putting this all in her, when I could have just as easily just said, “No” to Brian. “Let’s stick with 4pm”. As these thoughts are going through my mind am walking I am walking around upstairs. I walked into her son’s new bedroom and I slid his dresser from the wall 7”. “Wow!” I said. “This is what $370.00 gets me?” I reached out to Brian, sent him a text of the pic and he quickly sent Joey back to me to resolve it. I always try to give folks the benefit of the doubt. Joey finishes up and leaves again uneventfully. At this point I assumed there would be no issues, so I start driving out to help take my friend’s belongings, which we loaded up in my 20ft trailer earlier, to Prescott Valley. So, a week and half goes by, all the while I am getting texts from Brian to give his company of review. I enjoy giving great reviews, but I was physically and mentally exhausted from not only my fiancé’s move to my home, but also helping my friend move. Plus I’m at work 12hrs per day during the week, so I’m mentally exhausted. This is not an excuse for my procrastination. It just is a fact. Feeling guilty, I began to write a review but then I paused thinking that i should walk around and inspect all corners of the carpet upstairs to make sure there was nothing else that was missed. Within 5min I discovered two areas in two bedrooms where I believed still needed to be remediated. One was behind the door of the same bedroom and the other was in another bedroom, beneath the bed. Photos are attached. So at this point I replied to Brian with a polite message asking if they would be willing to return for a good review. He responded Yes and it was scheduled for one-week out (today). Brian touched base with me yesterday to see if I’d pay $60. I said no. He then told me a cleaner would be here at 8am. I’m here waiting. It’s 9am when I reach out to Brian. He calls me back to tell me that Joey’s truck is in the shop. When he offered to send Joey out between 1-4pm I said no thank you, and that I’ll just pay someone else to do the remediation. He reminded me that I was off all day from work, but I told him I couldn’t wait around. No hard feelings.

Great services completed in a timely manner.
