Chase and gang have taken care of my pool for several years now. They are an excellent company, reliable, reasonable and dependable. I like the new electronic report that details the time of service, chemical levels and work performed. I don't write a lot of reviews, but definitely would recommend Blue Iguana!

Chase & TJ performed a spring tuneup on our pool. We have and will continue to use Blue Iguana Pools to clean our pool tile and they always do a top notch job. We will also use their weekly pool service going forward. Thank you for providing such a reliable & professional service.

I highly recommend Blue Iguana Pools. We have used them to repair our pool equipment and then we hired them to clean and maintain our pool while our house was on the market. They kept our pool beautiful. We have used them again in our new home. They are professional, fair, honest and do a great job. We will continue to call them for our pool needs.

This company is good at staying on schedule but other than that their technicians don't seem to do their job. They notify that the pool has been serviced but the pool will look exactly as it was the days before. They come out twice a week to "clean" the pool and our pool constantly stays cloudy and full of debris at the bottom and top of water. They are not good at communicating either, never answer the phone, they don't respond to emails in a timely manner either. They seem to just be taking the money and not providing the services they're supposed to be. Our pool has not been 100% use ready since Memorial day back in May which is ridiculous due to the fact that they come out twice a week.

It is rare and refreshing to come across a company with true integrity. A check was accidentally sent to Blue Iguana for my company. Before my accountants or admin could figure out where it went, a letter and check arrived from Blue Iguana apologizing for the inconvenience. I don't know that we ever would have been able to track it down, and a lesser company may have just waited to see if anyone came asking for it. Not these guys, and now I know who to use and / or refer out to my clients. Thanks Blue Iguana

Since I moved to Blue Iguana Pools, I am very happy with how they care for my pool. Prior to them, I had several years of terrible service from many different pool service companies. They are professional, proficient, and dependable.

We have been customers of Blue Iguana Pool Service since March 2015. We left another pool service that we were very unhappy with. We are part time residents in AZ and Blue Iguana is attentive to our needs. They always let us know of issues and do all they can to assist us when we are away working with the pool co that installed the pool to manage warranty items. They repair all other items and never overcharge us. They are honest and professional. TJ and Taylor are just great. They are always on time each week and email that they have been to the house. They even let me know of other issues on the property (irrigation leaks etc). Betty does the billing and passes on my emails to service immediately. I have never had a billing issue with Blue Iguana.
I have referred a neighbor to them who was also unhappy with the pool service they were using and are very happy with this company. I highly recommend them.

I have used Blue Iguana Pools for over 19 years & have always been more than satisfied with the pricing & level of services they provide. They are always punctual to service my pool & if they aren't able to due to an emergency, they always communicate with me to let me know when they can service my pool. Honest company… will tell you what it is and give a range of options. I bought a house with a 22 year old pool with original equipment in 2021. We had Blue Iguana come out to inspect. They gave a full run down on the condition of the pool equipment and a range of options to address the general cloudiness of water. Given our cash poor situation after buying a house in a terrible market, we just had them do some valve and auto-fill repairs and bought a new pool vac as well as chemicals to get through summer #1 (our minimum to have a usable pool.) They were kind enough to educate on the maintenance routine that would be optimal given the old equipment.

Jump forward almost two years and we had them back out for a more robust filter and pump replacement to modernize the system. They again walked us through options and matched us with a perfectly sized system that had the bells and whistles I was looking for. We replaced an evil old sand filter with a much smaller and low maintenance cartridge filter and went with a variable speed pump that is fully programmable. The install was super easy, fast, and professional. They took the time to fully program the system after talking to me about my needs and walked me through the features. They even saved me on getting a new pool light after diagnosing it was just a $3 switch that needed to be swapped out.

HOLY COW! 24 hours later it was like I had a brand new pool. To say my expectations were exceeded would be a serious understatement. It’s been a few weeks now and this thing is on auto-pilot, maintaining chemicals like I’ve never seen, and consistently cleaner than any pool I’ve owned.

The last three pools I had (rentals and last owned house) all had old outdated equipment and all struggled to maintain chemicals and water quality no matter how frequently I backwashed, brushed, shocked, etc. My new house required similar effort until I pulled the trigger on this upgrade. I am now lifting ZERO fingers to maintain this pool in crystal clear condition. I’m not sure I even believed that was possible before now.

Amazing experience and appreciate the no pressure approach and easy to understand education. It really helped me make a decision that I was comfortable with both on features and price. Couldn’t be happier!

If you like to spend money to have your pool/spa look exactly the same as it did before the technician comes to service, this company is for you. It's really a shame, as I have been with Josh (the new owner of this company) since he and his partner serviced pools 13 years ago. I would talk to Josh but he never did anything to resolve the issues we've been having for over a year now. He would send a "manager" and the pool/spa looked exactly the same as before. Their average time at our pool was 7 minutes! I know these guys are "professional" but 7 minutes? I caught one of the technicians running off in our yard to urinate and we've been through 3-4 since. The techs just don't care and it seems, even worse, management doesn't care either. I have multiple stories with multiple problems but it's not necessary for me to go into all of those. Josh, you're a good guy and I wish you the best.
Please take these words and do something with them. Find a small one man operation to service your pool/spa. They actually care and will do a good job.

Josh, the owner runs one of best pool companies and businesses I have come across. Honest, trustworthy, exceptional communication and COMPETENT from the owner to the technicians and their repair experts. They show up when they are supposed to show up, it’s documented with photos and chemical readings, technicians are extremely knowledgeable and focused. Any problems I have experienced have nothing to do with the pool company being lax or breaking something. Best there is - make a switch to Blue Iguana for peace of mind.

I own and operate a small vacation rental management company and I use Blue Iguana for several pools in the Phoenix area including my own. I have worked with several other pool companies in the valley and they are my preferred pool company. Their office staff is knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service, their service techs always notify us of any issues, it’s extremely helpful to receive the email notifications after cleanings, and their text line makes it so convenient! I would give Blue Iguana 10 stars if I could!

We have been using Blue Iguana for over 10 years in two homes, and they have been doing a great job. In our recent home, we did struggle with them as the technicians they sent were not able to keep our pool chemicals balanced in the summer and clean in the winter. There are few trees around our pool that make maintaining it challenging. That said, since we got Isaiah as our tech, he paid attention to the pool and made sure the chemicals are balanced and the pool is clean on weekly basis. The pool has never looked this good since we moved to this house. Good job, Isaiah.

The company has gone downhill. We were a client for over 15 years. Gone through many owners and name changes. Our pool was green and needed treatment before a Memorial Day party. Despite many promises, calls, and pictures sent the pool was still green and our party was ruined. One tech came out and had to call the office to find out what to do. Then they said they were short handed and didn’t have staff to drain pool and wouldn’t do it. This went on for weeks and with promises the pool would be ready.it never was. Then they had the nerve to bill us over $1000 for chemicals and service calls. I don’t believe they even put the chemicals in, because they kept saying the chemicals would clear up the water but it never did. I paid the majority of their ridiculous bill but refused to pay the last $200 for the chemicals that didn’t work. They are threatening me for the last amounts. This is the way they treat a customer of over 15 years. The business has issues that need to be resolved and go back to good customer service. We switched to a different company and they have been fantastic. They will most likely write some type of retaliatory remark to discredit us. But if we were happy with them why would we have changed companies after being with them for so many years? With so many good pool companies out there, why use one that gives poor service and treats customers poorly? I am writing this to help consumers and also in hopes that the company makes some positive changes.
