The professionals at Turf Monsters did a great job with our turf installation. Steve was a great project manager and all of the staff in the home office were very friendly and easy to work with. The project was ahead a schedule and under what we expected to pay, a rarity in this market. I will be recommending Turf Monsters to all my friends and neighbors!

After doing extensive online searches for artificial turf cleaning companies I contacted Turf Monsters and spoke to Jordyn. She was knowledgeable, easy to work with and fully explained the various options for artificial turf cleaning. Ultimately, I chose to have a quarterly cleaning service and was very comfortable with the price I was quoted. The technicians arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job fully cleaning my turf and making it look like new. Jordyn was very thorough and helped me understand what landscaping services, in addition to artificial turf installation and maintenance, were available. I cannot recommend Turf Monsters enough! We just bought a new home in Scottsdale and wanted to add some green around the pool. Steve came out to give us an estimate and was knowledgeable and helpful explaining the difference turf choices to us. He even suggested we add a screen to a window that overlooks the pool so we don’t get a reflection of the sun off the window which leads to turf burn. He hooked us up with someone who could do that for us during the turf installation. The crew was fast, clean and the end result is beautiful! We will definitely call Steve and Turf Monsters if we decide to add more to our property. The first picture below is the “before” and the others are the “after”.

They just finished putting turf in the front and back yard, installed travertine on the back patio and gave us a front and 2nd patio in the back. Had an initial great experience with Turf Monsters and really do love the design and space that they did for us. Unfortunately since our initial sales person left the company, communication has been slow and disappointing. It recently took three weeks to get a proper response to our inquiries about some issues we are having. Included in those issues are a ton of grass growing through the rocks they laid down, in addition to two of the plants they installed dying. On both issues, we’ve been told to handle it ourselves or with someone else. For the grass, it’s understandable that they don’t take care of the yard maintenance, but because their initial install didn’t include any type of barrier below the rock, it’s added a lot of work and eye sore to what should otherwise be a beautiful and minimal maintenance space. For the two dead plants, we were first told that it was a likely water issue, despite the seven other plants they installed thriving and the fact they also installed the watering system. And when that wasn’t the answer they needed, we were told that the plants wouldn’t be warrantied because “they weren’t completely dead” upon initial notification on day 26 of the 30 day warranty period. So, while you will get a wonderfully designed space and finished product, be cautioned of further quality service into the future.

After meeting with several landscape companies for my backyard patio and turf installation, Turf Monsters clearly rose to the top. Their product selection, transparent pricing, and detailed line-item estimates were impressive—but what truly sealed the deal was Steve.

From our first meeting in May, Steve showed incredible patience and professionalism. My project timeline shifted due to other renovations, but when I was finally ready in August, Steve returned without hesitation, took fresh measurements, and provided an updated quote. Every promise he made was delivered on.

Unlike typical sales reps who vanish after the deposit clears, Steve stayed hands-on throughout the entire process. He was on-site daily, checking in with the crew and making sure I was happy with the progress. Even when he wasn’t physically present, he was always responsive—quick to answer texts and calls whenever I had a question or concern.

We made a couple of design changes mid-project, and Steve handled them seamlessly. No delays, no drama—just smooth execution and accurate billing.

We hired Turf Monsters to re-do our back yard.
The end result was horrible.

Our requests:
Remove grass and place a paper patio. We requested Red pavers because our house is a Red brick house and there's red brick surrounding that area. They quoted us for the color "Territorial" and they installed GREY pavers.

Install turf, we had the shaped outlined. They cut the wrong shape.

Grade the yard and spread out the rock. The ignored 2 areas of our yard. The entire east side of our house and another smaller area. When we brought this up, the salesman claimed we never asked for these areas to be done. That is not true.

Install flagstone pavers that we had. We laid them out prior. They left some aside on our patio and some are broken and move when they're walked on.

They offered to come out and grade the area they ignored if we paid for the labor. But they did such a horrible job with everything else it wasn't worth giving them anymore money.

Over 13.6k for the wrong color paver patio, wrong shape of turf and an awful looking patch or quarter minus behind our pool (that we didn't ask for or approve). The salesman even admitted during our final walk through that it looked "worse" when they spread the rock out (which is what we asked for) and so HE decided to have them pack a bunch of quarter minus there instead. Why was that his decision to make for us?

We would have added more rock if needed. We didn't understand why they didn't speak to us before deciding to pack that whole area with the quarter minus. Now if we add rock to that area it will look like a hill. So we have to remove some of that material so that when rock is added it will blend with the rock on either side.

We initially received a quote for 4k less than Turf Monsters from another company. Turf Monsters offered to work with us and reduce the cost. It was still over 1600 to work with them instead of the other company and we will end up paying the same now because our yard isn't finished. We didn't ask for anything fancy, no irrigation, drip system, plants or trees. Just the paver patio, Turf and grading and spreading out the rock we had. We knew we needed more rock because it was included on the other company's quote, which we shared with Turf Monsters. Very disappointed in their work. There was no quality and no attention to detail.

From start to finish, Turf Monsters was incredible! All work including turf, landscaping, pergola, pavers, etc was completed in a timely manner. Our salesperson, Anthony, was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. He kept us informed throughout the process. We did our research ahead of time and received multiple quotes from various companies and Turf Monsters was the clear winner as far as price and quality. I would highly recommend them.

We met Steve from Turf Monsters at a home show along with a couple other turf companies. We received a quote from one other company from that day. After meeting with Steve, we knew this was the company we wanted to work with. Not only was Turf Monsters' quote better, Steve entertained our design plan where the other company didn't. We were removing grass, but splitting the area between rock, turf and a putting green, as well as filling in existing rock. Steve was so responsive and helped us with the info we needed for HOA approval. We were blown away by the finished product! I cannot say enough about Steve, the crew, and the company. The entire process was smooth and seamless and we couldn't be happier. We were just as impressed with the cleanup after the project. The crew was so meticulous in the cleanup that you couldn't tell they were even there. Look no further, Turf Monsters is the only company to consider!!

We ultimately " gave up" with fighting watering costs and management/ maintenance of the lawn due to rabbits eating and new shoots and digging holes.Multiplre friends had installed turf so their testmonies and visual appeal set the tone.We had numerous quotes and went with Turf Monsters due to friends' finished project and the quality of the turf product compared to other vendors. The price with our preference of turf was actually competitive to others with lower quality turf . Lawn area preparation was great! The workers protected our drive and access areas, stripping out the old grass and dirt straight into a trailer so no mess, they were though with the fill and compaction and verified none of the old sprinkler system had leaks while the reminder of the system operated correctly. I was pleased with the in- depth efforts of "sewing" the seams and securing the edges. Clean up and removal was well executed! The crew is efficient and work well together; it is easy to tell they have experience and know what needs to be done and keep all moving to completion. We are quite pleased with the finished project and highly recommend Turf Monsters over anything else seen or quoted! Thank you Mike!!!

We could not be happier with our new putting green from Turf Monsters! They helped us with everything we needed and the price was reasonable, too. Now our backyard has been transformed into a beautiful place to enjoy and have fun. If you’re considering turf for your yard, I highly recommend Turf Monsters. The quality of turf you get for the price is unbeatable. We received quotes from several companies at similar price points, but the turf Turf Monsters uses was by far the best.
The installation process was quick and efficient, and everyone we worked with was kind, professional, and easy to communicate with. They were also flexible with some last-minute changes we wanted to make and even managed to fit our job in a few days earlier than expected.

Turf Monsters rocked it to the max. From our very first consultation Anthony gave us 100% until our project was complete. The team work with the crew was amazing. We needed a pet friendly turf for our dogs and family to enjoy. We also included quarter inch minus to the entire yard which looks so much nicer than our backyard dirt. GPM Landscape has the most disrespectful and rude employees I have ever seen. They parked their large work truck in the middle of the road so only one car at a time could leave the parking lot and hardly any room to get past them. I asked the driver of the truck to please move so we could get out of the parking lot and that I was afraid if I squeezed through, I would damage my truck. He stated to me while continuing to look at his phone, "I'm waiting for my workers." I pointed out to him that he could move his truck to the other side which was a larger area and he refused. He said something else to me in a very rude tone that I didn't catch. I would never hire this type of company where the employees don't care how they treat someone who could have be a future customer. There are many respectful landscape companies, THIS IS NOT one of them.
