We have had our Southface solar system for over ten years. Very satisfied with the workmanship of the crew and the product. Very friendly and professional , cleaned up after each days work and arrived on time daily or called to explain the one time delayed for a day. 4000 watt system delivered a little over 4000 watts for the first two years. Then the inline Micro-Inverters began to have problems, they were 195 watt inverters Called the company and they started to monitor my system. Within a week they contacted the Micro-Inverter company and then to my suprise convinced them to replace all 26 Micro-inverters with new 235 watt inverters. The guys came up the next week and replaced all 26 inverters in one day and there was no charge. Great service if you ask me. Now my system regularly puts out about 5000 watts.

We talked with a number of solar companies with Southface being our choice. They came out and explained everything very clearly, with zero pressure. Pricing was very competitive. This is not a huge solar company that treats customers like a number. We could always can reach them with questions, and believe me, we had questions.
All I can say is don't hesitate to choose them for your solar. Their work is stellar, communication great, and we couldn't be happier with what our electric bills have been. You won't be sorry!!

We first contacted SouthFace Solar in January and our system was up and running in early April. Although it has been only a couple of weeks now, I must say I am very happy at this point. The personnel have all been very helpful. This is not a short process since building permits, SRP approvals, etc., etc. are required. There were a couple of minor hitches, but all were solved quickly with a call to or from Vance, their representative. If you are considering adding solar to your home, I highly recommend this company. I will readily call them again should the need arise.

I’ve been working with SouthFace Solar for years. They have always done a great job and are there when I need them. Example: a hail storm damaged my roof, so it needed replaced. Although the solar panels were OK, they had to be removed during the roof repair. SouthFace Solar worked with my contractor so the panels had minimal downtime.

Southface Solar installed our first system 2 1/2 years ago. We then bought another house and had them install the system on it. We get higher than market rent on the first home and know that when we sell we will not have to have the issues others have when they lease. We met with several companies, big and small, and chose Southface because they are locally owned and so glad we did. Everyone has been super and we love our system.

I completed the solar panels in my home with a previous company, I had some questions and concerns because the solar production only covered 1/2 of what I needed, and that other company blocked me out and refused to talk to me. I contacted Danny via phone, he listened to my questions and concerns. We scheduled an appointment, Danny come to my house as expected and charged me the amount that we reviewed via phone. Danny completed the solar inspection very professionally; he sent me the results in a comprehensible format via email and called me via phone to answer our questions. Thank you, Danny.

Recently I had a solar energy system installed on my home in Scottsdale AZ. I had debated whether to proceed with this investment for a number of years. As I was planned to purchase my system, my greatest concern was whether the payback period justified the upfront cash outlay. Over the years, I interviewed a number of solar contractors as to the optimum size and costs to satisfy my needs. Over this period, I kept going back to Southface Solar & Electric Company because I felt that they had an interest in me and were not just trying to sell a solar system, . They patiently answered all my questions and developed any number of different options based on various Kwh output and projected return on investment. Southface offered the highest quality equipment available at a very competitive price . Once I had finally decided to pull the trigger, they designed the system, submitted all of the needed documentation, worked closely with me to insure that my installation was completed on time and followed up to insure it was operating to my sanctification. .All of their personnel that I came in contact with were extremely professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Southface to anyone interested in having a quality organization,, capable of providing first rate service, install your solar system.

I am adding an update here. My system had been experiencing issues with ARC faults on one of the charge controllers. It was a sporadic issue, and did not remove full functionality of my system. After eliminating the "easy" fixes (physical layer connectivity etc.) it was determined that replacing the circuit board on the charge controller should occur. Jeff B. came out arriving during the scheduled maintenance window, and spent about 2 hours meticulously performing this work. It has been 2 weeks since this work was done, and there have been no recurrences of the issue. Great job Jeff!

The SouthFace team recently completed a solar/battery installation at my home. Their team was efficient and extremely knowledgable, and the installation is professional from start to finish. The amount of detail that goes into one of these installations is amazing, from the electric wiring, to the panel installation, to the running of conduit and J-boxes in the attic. Corey, the owner of SouthFace was on-site the majority of one day during the installation, and it was pleasing to see him quizzing and educating his crew on various electric topics during their lunch break. The entire system has recently had final configurations applied, and I now avoid completely the 3 - 8 pm APS on-peak charges completely, running my house completely from solar and battery. Great job!

I purchased an off-grid home in Buckeye in 2020. I originally hired a different company to install new batteries, generator, and compatible ac system for my off-grid home. I spent well over 30k on this entire system. By summer 2021, I started having issues with my system and called my installer to check it out. They couldn't figure it out and had me use my generator 12 hours a day until they could find another technician. This over ran my generator and caused several issues. They never called me back and I had to call another company. I had 4 different companies come and check out my system and they all said they weren't familiar enough with full "off-grid" systems to fix my issue. Southface was the 5th company to come to my home. Not only did they fix my system, they fixed the errors from my original installer. I'm so grateful for their help. They were also very competitively priced. Thank you Southface!

Excellent company to work with. Everything was outlined and listed up front, there was no surprise or additional charges. I was notified whenever there was work going to be done and to when they had to wait to further word due to inspections needed at different stages of progress. I have had my system since summer of 2014 and never had any problems. It has saved large amounts of dollars in electric bills. So for me, this was a very wise choice in going solar.

PS. I would like to add that I had estimates from other solar companies and SouthFace Solar was the most reasonable plus having panels made in USA.

Danny, Jeff, and the team at Southface Solar Electric are AMAZING! After months of trying to get our former company to repair our panels. Jeff was able to diagnose and repair our problem. They are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them and will recommend to anyone who asks.

Southface installed our solar system in Jan 2022, but recently we had problems with the system’s battery charging and discharging processes. Under warranty, the battery and inverter were replaced and we are fully back online taking advantage of the Valley’s ample sunshine.

Thanks in particular to Danny in Support who was instrumental in getting the replacements installed as quickly as was feasible.

LONG STORY POST- My husband (David Roberts) and I started our solar project with another company in February 2022. That company was super prompt to get the panels installed, but then everything went drastically downhill from there. Fast forward to November 2023...there was a tech out completing a very shoddy job on installing and connecting our battery backup system. On November 17th, we got a call from that tech saying that he was out of a job and wouldn't be showing up because the company had closed it's doors and was filing for bankruptcy. Imagine the panic that went through us as we weren't sure what that meant for our system. Enter SouthFace, specifically Danny Magana! That man...he saved us. He hustled and got us on track to having a PROPERLY assembled and connected and working system. The lead technician was Jeff Bevan and the electrician on the job was Zach DePriest. These guys drove down from Phoenix, worked on our system, stayed the night, then came back and worked some more to fix and complete this job and we cannot express how grateful we are for these three guys! They are incredible and SouthFace is lucky to have them. They give this company an AMAZING reputation. I will be recommending them to everyone! You're each greatly appreciated, guys! Thank you!

We had Southface remove and reinstall our solar panels for some roof repair. This company was a pleasure to work with from the first contact through the final stage. The crew was very polite, was experienced in their field and were very professional. This is a company you will want to contact if you need anything related to your solar system. I contacted 3 other companies and Southface was by far the one that was interested in helping with my project and at a very competitive rate. If I had to rate them they would deserve a A+++. Really top notch!

LG referred me to Southface Solar. I reached out and spoke to Danny about my solar battery swelling up. He walked me through my options and help me with my LG warranty for my battery. His team came out on time. Replaces my battery and internet connection. Every person I dealt with was professional and courteous. The best part after all the work was done they cleaned up after themselves. By far the best Electric and Solar company I have dealt with in the last 20 years. Great 👍 Job!!!

Two years ago Southface Solar installed my system. I still have bills over $300. I’ve reached out to them numerous times and they have yet to optimize my solar system. I’ve spent thousands $$$$ more than they promised my electrical bills would be.
It took SouthFace Solar over 90 days to even respond to an email for a request for them to review my system and look into why my bills are so high $$. I even talked to the owner on a Friday and he promised me he’d review it on Monday. That was 3 months ago.
The installation went well. They were friendly and knowledgeable. BUT the follow up and customer service is definitely not there after you purchase the system.
Southface Solar is more interested in the initial sale than providing follow up system optimizations of the solar panels and customer support.
I couldn’t be more disappointed in their service calls, or lack there of, over the past two years. Again, please be careful. Your electric bills might cost you thousands $$$ more than they it will.

Honest company that really cares about their customers. I needed an inverter replaced under manufacture warranty that was purchased by the previous owner of my home. Even though they didn't install the system, Danny was quick to get me setup for a replacement. When the replacement unit didn't work, and I'd need to have them come back out again, Danny was great to work with and coordinated another replacement delivery as well.

I contacted numerous Solar companies for removal and reinstall as my roof was needing repair. I choose SouthFace Solar and was very impressed with the communication with the office and even more expressed with the job the workers provided. The first two employees (for removal) were professional, knowledgeable, and job site was cleaned after removal. Upon reinstall, the two gentlemen (different employees) were just as good, and the same, knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and job site was clean.
