Shasta Pools

Love my pool, but do not be tricked by the Shasta pool warranty. Pool is just over 2 years installed. On 09/30/2022 I called the warranty line because my pool was not running aka no power at the pump. Sub panel breakers were fine, but the breaker on the main residence panel was in the off/tripped position. I am not an electrician by trade but when I flip the breaker and sparks come from my breaker box, it makes me think something is wrong. I lose power to the whole house. I get all power back on and instantly when I try the pool breaker same result. House and pool are just over 2 years old. Naturally I call Shasta warranty and explain to the employee my very reasonable concerns about the electrical of my Shasta pools. The employee tells me I will receive a call next week from warranty. Next week has come and gone and no call. I called back to Shasta warranty and a different employee located my service record and said someone will call in 2 weeks! I asked the employee if there was anything to do to speed someone getting out to look at the box and tell me what I can do to fix it and her simple answer was “wait the 2 weeks”. So here I am waiting now for a week and a half, pool is completely green and dirty because it has not been running for the last 8 days, I am worried about faulty wiring in the breaker box burning my house down and Shasta could care less. Beware, pools are nice but pray there is no warranty work.

Shasta was the third pool construction company I interviewed. They took the time to listen to what I wanted in a pool and then gave me a complete rundown on the equipment and construction techniques they used to provide a quality product at a reasonable price. I was very impressed with their knowledge of equipment and techniques as well as their guidance while I was making selections to get the exact pool I wanted and still keep it within my budget. My pool is now finished and it turned out exactly the way I wanted. Great Job Shasta.
