DO NOT RECOMMEND. NON-RESPONSIVE. THEY DO NOT HONOR ANY WARRANTY. You will NEED to hire a Master Gardener, Horticulturalist, and/or Arborist because their plant design, selection and installations of plants and water systems will be completely incorrect. Leafy greens should never be on the same line as cacti. It will cost you hundreds, if not thousands more, to repair the problems they will cause. They are non-responsive once they get their funds and will argue any warranty. They have been non-responsive since my last 1-Star Review. Any others having issues please reach out to me to discuss taking legal action.

Very professional, we needed our backyard completely overhauled. From bare dirt to a lush fully landscaped paradise. Lavender Landscape & Design did an unbelievable job, more than we could have ever imagined!
Photos from spring 2020 (before/after), a year later, and one night photo with the awsome light system they installed as well! -
I’d leave a 0 star if I could. My awning that I spend $20k on leaks. The limestone they installed has turned brown (was white). They refused to use a dumpster and we received multiple fines from scottsdale city. The pavers in the driver way have started to sink into the ground.
All in we spend $155k on work. I’ve already spent $15k fixing their work. The new contractor saw the roof they installed on the awning and said “those folks belong in prison for the job they did.”
I hope that happens. -
Keep in mind that if you give Lavender a deposit and they fail to perform or declare bankruptcy again you are an unsecured creditor. Thus you are unlikely at best to recover any monies. I wish someone had given this advice to me before flushing a considerable amount of money down the toilet. Live and learn I suppose.

Haley designed an extremely beautiful backyard remodel for my Phoenix home. She was able to capture my vision perfectly. Very excited to get started on the construction this spring!

Great experience from design to execution. Haley is a pro when it comes to design. My wife and I are very happy with our new living space.

I am a realtor in Las Vegas who lived in Phoenix for 15 years. I send all my AZ landscaping referrals to Lavender Landscapes. They are the best company in city! I love the staff and Haley is awesome! Gotta love great customer service. :)

We hired Lavender to do ~150k worth of work at our house in 2021 and it's been a nightmare ever since. Working with them was incredibly stressful. Employees kept leaving the company so we had 3-4 different designers and project managers throughout the project. The work was riddled with poor craftsmanship and unexplained delays. The end result, while beautiful at first, has proven to be very not functional. There are a myriad of issues we've experienced (sooo many plants died, block wall cracking, tile staining to name a few), but the most profound is the awning they built in our backyard is leaking when it rains. We notified them of this earlier this year. They ignored us until we posted a negative review. Then someone came out in March and said they remedied the issue. Fast forward to the most recent rains and our awning is not only leaking again, but created water leaking into our home. They have not responded to reachout. It's clear that when they added the awning, it created a divot where the roof and awning meet where water just pools when it rains. Looks like we will now be financially on the hook for their poor work. If you're thinking of working with Lavender.. RUN AWAY AND DON'T LOOK BACK. The negative reviews speak for themselves

DO NOT USE Lavender Landscape. Our project has been an absolute nightmare, and I don’t want anybody to go through what we’ve gone through. I honestly wish we never would’ve done this project because it has been such a bad experience. I will post the details below, but want to share that I have reached out to the owner, Haley, on multiple occasions to discuss this and she has never once responded to me. As a business owner myself, I am completely shocked at the disengagement, which is likely why there is so much chaos all the way down to our project.
We signed our contract with them 8/30/2023. Demo didn’t start until early January. We were told our build would take 6 to 8 weeks (pool remodel, not new build). It has now been six months and our project still isn’t finished. We go weeks at a time with no one on site working. There has been a lot of rework because what was agreed to in the design, and signed by both parties, did not make it into the construction documents. I’ve been told on a couple occasions that the material we selected in the design (primarily our travertine) was discontinued but when I called the manufacturer myself, I found out it was indeed available and in stock here in Phoenix at the company they originally sourced it through in our design (thank goodness I took pictures of the samples when I picked them). Why lie about that unless the price has gone up since it’s been so long since we picked it and you now want a cheaper option? I’ve had to keep such a close eye on this project that I feel like I’m the one project managing it. When we ask for schedules and timelines, they give them to us, but not one of them has ever been met in the time communicated. I’ve had conversations with the head of construction, the project manager, and our superintendent, but it doesn’t move the needle and nothing changes. At this point we just want our project completed. PLEASE save yourself from a nightmare choose someone else for your project.
(P.S. I’m sure this review will be removed as it appears the other 1 star reviews have, but hopefully it will prevent at least a few people from moving forward with them before it disappears) -
Save your money and peace of mind and do not hire Lavender. We hired them for a huge job, front and back yards with pool renovation. They ask for tons of money up front and weekly before work is done (instead of asking for payment as items are completed). We have paid them 99% of the contract price and it’s been a year plus a few months and our yard still basically is mostly dirt. We have to text them almost daily, and they ignore most of it. No clear timeline for completion (they continue to move the finish date every few weeks). They take weeks to book a plumber/electrician/subcontractor who ends up not showing up. Look them up on the ROC website - they have open cases against them (ours included). Don’t be fooled by their portfolio or how good they seem when they first meet you. We were fooled and this has been the most painful renovation we have ever experienced. The picture is how our yard has looked for basically 6+ months.

I deeply regret doing business with this company, which calls themselves Lavender Pools but removed their name from Google searches to conceal their horrible reputation. I wish I had seen the reviews before signing a contract with them. I hope my review will save others from experiencing what I've gone through.
They have billed me multiple times for work that was never done and supplies that were never used. When I asked about those charges, they acknowledged the supplies were not used but refused to refund me for it because the payment already processed.
It has been nearly impossible to get clear answers about the status of my project. I never know when workers will show up unannounced, and they rarely show up when they tell me they will. Communication has been completely unreliable. Deadlines were promised and then missed without explanation. In addition to that, many components of my project were completed with unacceptable workmanship or incorrect features that I did not order.
Instead of taking responsibility, the company has made countless excuses, or worse, they have blamed me for their own mistakes, which has made the situation even more stressful for me and my family. Once you are locked in, it feels like they hold all the leverage.
Please save yourself from endless months of disappointment, wasted money, and broken promises from these people. -
We have loved working with Lavender so far! Every part of the process so far has been so smooth! The process started with Hailee coming out and talking with us about our vision and taking measurements, then couple weeks later we were able to go into the office and see her design come to life! She nailed what we envisioned and provided detailed 3D models and blueprints for our full project. She was great about hearing our feedback and tweaking details to better fit our project, though really there wasn’t much that needed to be altered. Overall we have been super impressed and look forward towards taking the next step in our full outdoor remodel!

I called Tempe tree removal and landscaping because there are palm trees in my yard that needed trimming and one that died and I asked to take it down. After few hours same day, their team came to my place and they were amazing. They checked the trees and gave me a fair price compared to all the others. The next day they were at my property on time, worked professionally, left everything clean and took all the trimmings with them. I definitely found the team that I would like to work with next time. Highly recommended

I called Tempe Tree Removal and Landscaping to get a quote and they arrived the same day! The next day we already arranged a time for the service. The staff arrived on time and immediately started working. They were so professional, efficient and helpful. The service was excellent and when they left our property everything looked great. They took care of the trees as we asked, left a clean yard and took all the trimmings with them. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them !

Disappointment is the first word that comes to mind with DBL as our HOA landscape provider. We contracted with DBL for approximately one year and within the first few months it became evident that the services and capabilities presented during the bid process did not align with the service delivered. Many commitments made in their proposal never materialized. Promises made but never kept.
Smart Watering System – Not Delivered
DBL committed to installing smart watering systems with weather stations at no cost to the community. After months of follow-up, we were informed the system was not compatible with our irrigation infrastructure – information that should have been known during the bid process, particularly because we clearly communicated the types of irrigation system we had and the challenges it had presented in the past. Instead, the issue was repeatedly attributed to an external “vendor delay” and the promised solution never arrived.
Real-Time Reporting App – Not Delivered
DBL committed and advertised a Real-Time Reporting app, described as an interactive tool allowing the board to view weekly work scheduled and receive regular updates. However, once service began the Account Manager had no knowledge of such a system, despite the fact it is still promoted on DBL’s website.
Better in 30 Guarantee – Not Honored
DBL’s “Better in 30 days or Don’t Pay” guarantee did not reflect our experience. Our community never looked like they just left. We repeatedly provided feedback, but no meaningful changes occurred. A request to swap crews in hopes of a fresh perspective was denied.
Ineffective Communication and Dismissed Feedback
Although DBL initially welcomed direct communication from the board, once our feedback highlighted ongoing issues, we were redirected to funnel everything through the community manager. This created the impression that maybe the negative feedback might get filtered or minimized and they would not have to deal with it. The board conducted multiple walkthroughs with both the Account Manager and the Director of Operations, yet no improvements followed.
Damage to Plants and Lack of Accountability
DBL severely over-trimmed (essentially hacked) established plants at our front monument – despite us only requesting a standard trim. We were told the plants would recover, citing 40+ years of experience with the crew, but they did not survive. After months of negotiation, DBL finally agreed to replace them but insisted on using much smaller 5-gallon plants to replace plants with over 5 years of growth. They eventually agreed to 15-gallon replacements, but these were still not true restoration of what was lost.
Overall Assessment: There are numerous additional examples of missed expectation and lack of care but the above reflect some of the most significant issues. If you are seeking a landscape company that takes pride in its work, delivers on its commitments, and is responsive to client concerns, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
We ultimately terminated our contract with DBL because it became too time consuming and frustrating to repeatedly provide feedback with no action taken, all while paying for sub-standard service. We made every effort to work collaboratively, but it became clear that our concerns were not prioritized and that accountability was lacking. -
DBL is our contracted vendor for our HOA. They do an okay job on some parts of our community, but fall short in others. They are supposed to take care of the weeds growing in our streets and sidewalks on a regular basis, but they definitely do not.
Our community is over 20 years old, and they keep cutting back all our plants, so they look like they are 1 or 2 years old. They aren't a landscape company; more of a company that just uses a trimmer to cut everything down. Our community should have large, lush plants, but it certainly doesn't. I get so upset when I drive by other communities in Litchfield Park and see their mature plants and greenery everywhere. Ours just look like little orbs growing out of the ground. -
Love it
