One on one service. Knowledgeable employee and the products I purchased 100% accomplished my needs!

I came here after seeing some recommendations saying they were really helpful in picking products for you that would help. That was our experience too! We let the worker know the issues we were having and he suggested 2-3 options at different price points so that we could pick something matching our budget. The prices were great and we will be back!

Very informative about all of their products and how to use them. Small store but very clean and organized. Don't call pest control or a weed removal company Do-It-Yourself!

I liked the idea of the store but when I began asking questions of the people there they were a little vague on safety. That made me a bit nervous. So we decided to go with 5 times more expensive but guaranteed to be safe for my dogs pest control company.

Definately my go to for pest control. I used to pay $70 a month for a local company to spray every month. In talking with the employee of this pest control compamy he told me I was getting ripped off big time, and I researched companies with competitive pricing.

Previously I had real grass and he gave me a list of chemicals and the quantities I would need to service the house on my own. So I cancelled my contract and did things on my own based on his recommendations.

So long story short after spraying outside every month for the last 10 years I have never seen a bug, spider, or cockroach inside the house. Previously I was ordering online and finally I chose to go with a local company. Although it is safe to spray inside all I choose to do near the exterior doors.

So here is the skinny... I can do the garage, outside, and perimeter with one gallon of solution. I use the Bithor SC @ 1.5oz. Bithor is a little more expensive but it kills more and is $3.50 per dose/month and lasts about ten months. Less than $40 a year to treat my house is a win/win.

Not only is each store staffed with people that have a sincere interest in the challenges that I am tackling that day but they have everything I have needed. Furthermore, I have had records sent to my email address when requested for the purposes of submitting invoices to my employer. Very much a strong advocate for this kind of service to the public. Make sure to protect yourself with the correct PPE as they offer industrial strength solutions to the lamen at an affordable price.

From a very knowledgeable proprietor to the huge selection of pest control products, this is the place to go if you have trouble with bugs.

The sales person was very knowledgeable about pest control & which products are safe for kids and pets.
Their selection of products is impressive & the prices are very reasonable.
You'll be glad you trusted them. I've gotten rid of the cockroaches infesting my new apartment! Ask for the syringe of cockroach bait. In July of 2023, this product was $18, including tax. I probably have enough to treat my 1 BR/1 BA apartment through the end of the year. Good luck & let's get all those roaches!
Unfortunately, this type of bug bait didn’t work for me; I never saw a decrease in the apartment’s cockroach population!
Luckily, my youngest brother & his fabulous wife sent me a number of cockroach traps & electronic devices that tell cockroaches that they are not welcome in my apartment…
The physical traps are similar in design to the old Cockroach Motel; “bugs check in & never check out!!” I can easily open the traps to see how many bugs are inside; I rotate them through the different locations in my apartment, in an effort to catch more in high traffic areas!

Needed weed killer and pre-emergent. I was in and out in under 20 minutes with everything I needed and clear instructions sharpied on the side of each container. I'm an instant life long customer.

Wooow. The customer service here is phenomenal. You just don't get treated this well anywhere anymore. Thank you! The service alone was worth the visit!

This is a great place to pick up professional grade pre emergent spare and insect spray and equipment. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, who will answer your questions. This is one of three stores in the Tucson area.

Don’t hire Albert Mendoza for landscaping:

I had hired Albert Mendoza to do a landscaping job for my yard, I have used him for small jobs for years and then a larger job this summer when he said he was looking for extra cash flow with the pandemic. I then also referred him to a few friends for him to do their yard work.

In October, we made an agreement for him to do another larger job for my yard for $1,000. On October 16th, I paid him $500 upfront for materials and he said we would start the job the next weekend. Then each weekend he would push it off with different excuses, like he was exhausted from working a 60-70 hour week at his normal job, that someone on his crew had a family emergency, then that he had some family stuff come up. Then on November 11th, 3.5 weeks later, he said he wasn’t going to be able to do my job and would work on getting my money back to me. Even though I don’t understand why he spent my money without doing my job, I tried to be understanding and asked him that we work out a plan. He didn’t respond. Then I followed up on November 19th, 5 weeks after I had sent him the money, to find out what hat the plan was and he didn’t respond.

I had waited another week and a half for him to respond, and he didn’t. So I respectfully told him that because of his lack of response that I would have to set a hard deadline for the money to be returned by December 31st or I would need to seek legal action. He finally responded as if I had somehow slighted him by simply wanting my $500 back for the job he never did.

I waited 2 weeks before following up on December 10th, to ask how he was going to return my money. He once again responded like I had done something wrong.

I have tried to follow up weekly to give him to opportunity to make some effort to pay something and he has not responded. Today I let him know he has 1 week left to pay it back otherwise I would be seeking the $500, plus legal fees and inconvenience pay ($500 is a lot be out right now and I can’t just recoup that or proceed with the work I want to have done, plus it’s going to take time from work and my family to get everything sorted). And now he has blocked me.

I am just so broken that I did so much to try and help this person with extra work this year and he has just completely taken advantage of me.

On top of that, I found out that he was quoting jobs for other people that my friend had referred him to before I told her what happened, but he couldn’t come do my job?

    2020 is the year. 🥺

I’ve used Albert twice now, and both times resulted in excellent work. However, the first time I used him (through Thumbtack), he gave a (more or less) fixed price bid...and when finished charged me a bit more. At the time, I decided it was fine, because the work was good and the overage wasn’t extreme. HOWEVER, the next (and sadly likely last) time I used him, he came out, gave the price to fix the drip system, and then after completing the job, charged me 40% more then originally quoted. In my opinion, that is a bad business practice. When I contacted him, I paid the bill but voiced my concern. His response was (in essence) sometimes it costs me more than I thought and if you aren’t happy don’t use me again. I guess I will have to follow his advice.

I hired Albert to put a drip system in my yard. He seemed like he knew what he was doing but the drip failed and I called him begging to fix and he wouldn’t come. Then after I sent him a photo of my dead tree he came and did another botched up job and it still doesn’t work. Several plants still had no drip system. I would never recommend him for any work on a drip system. He doesn’t know what he’s doing and doesn’t stand behind his work. He told me I was harassing him by asking him to fix his mistakes. Don’t waste your money. I have to hire a new company to redo the entire yard.
