I was driving down the freeway today on 11/12/18, and on of there semitrucks was dropping a lot of rocks behind it, there were cars darting left and right and in general trying not to get dinged. I unfortunately got 4 dings in my windshield and all they said was oops, your going to have to take care of it yourself. Nice way to be responsible.
So here it is almost 4 years later and I get a response from the owner saying it is impossible for me to get hit that many times and if I was back the 200 ft, there is no way I would have been hit. And I only assumed it was there truck. Doesn't matter that the gate on partially opened and I wasn't the only one getting hit.

We went to Desert Valley Landscaping with a small but complicated landscape project. We are very happy with the result; Neal Russell came up with great solution. Wonderful customer service and a very fair price--we will be back!

This is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. I call last Monday and asked if someone could come check out a possible leak in my irrigation box. I was told someone would call me back and no one did. I called back Tuesday and they said someone would come to my house Thursday or Friday between 9 and 12. I waited both mornings and no one showed. I didn't even get a phone call. I called Friday at 12:30 to see what happened and was told I would be called back. Never happened.

Two cars were stopped because of a school bus. In a neighbor with narrow streets. Kids are getting out of the bus and a driver of this company with license plate CL88167 drove on the other side and drove to the front and stopped abruptly when he noticed there was a bus and kids getting out. If this driver can’t see a BIG YELLOW BUS, I worry about his ability to see other things or be a competent driver. This fool could have hit a child with his negligent driving. Please discipline your driver.

Delivered materials to my yard and driveway with no notification ahead of time. Tried to change the price once they began working. Workers played extremely loud music all day long. Could see major issues the day they finished installation. Pavers uneven, turf pulling away from edges and weeds growing through both the pavers and turf.

Neal, Derek and the crew did an amazing job on our backyard! They are so good at what they do and got it done in a timely manner. Highly recommend! Thank you for our beautiful backyard :)

Derek is flexible and committed to customer satisfaction. He definitely has a team that’s very skillful and professional. Juan is great and very good at what he does. I will hire them again!

Called DVL on a recommendation from a friend. Needed to completely landscape my yard including over 1,000 sq ft of travertine tile on patio and around the pool, build a new outdoor kitchen and a fire pit. Liked right away that Chuck did not ask me what I wanted to spend but rather what I wanted to have done. He gave me a quote that was very reasonable compared even to work done by a contractor friend. Received a quote/contract within 3 days. In a week there were 5 trucks and perhaps 10 workers bringing travertine tiles, dirt, block, cement and also had two "bobcats" in my backyard digging trenches and moving rock. All the work was completed on schedule (about 3.5 weeks) including two days of rain. Someone worked on our project every day. Project management was impeccable with excellent coordination between masons, lighting and irrigation, landscaping and gas line extensions. Work was completed to my full satisfaction and we are enjoying our yard in time to celebrate the holidays with friends and family. Derek did an outstanding job of following up with everything and delivering on schedule.

Had DVL do extensive backyard grading and rocking as well as putting in a walkway from the side gate to the driveway. For the most part thy did a pretty good job. They were a little shy on the amount of rock used and there is a drain that goes from the back yard under the walkway to the front yard. This is where to problem lies. The end of the drain pipe was set too high in the backyard which causes 6-10 inches of standing water depending on how heavy a rain we get.

I have been calling them for a little over 2 years now. Most of the time they do not return my calls. When I am able to talk to someone (like Neal for instance), they say it is an easy fix and will send someone out to take care of the problem. Unfortunately, that never happens. No One ever comes out. I keep calling but again, no one calls back - day after day, week after week, and now year after year.

Very disappointed and for this reason only, I cannot recommend them.

I'm a new homeowner and we had a mesquite that was not staked very strongly so it did not survive the monsoons this summer. Desert valley happily came out and fixed the trees issues even though it was slightly over the warranty period. Will use them to do my backyard! Great service and nice people.

I thoroughly enjoyed my business with Desert Valley Landscaping.
It all started with the Mr. Neal. He came to my house and I explained what I would like for my yard to look like. He gave me many different options to choose from when it came to the pavers, gravel and turf.
Once everything was planned the landscapers got to work right away. In under four days my yard was completely transformed into a space that I'm proud of. I actually enjoy being back there now and my son has a nice place to play in.
Even with one hiccup during the laying of the pavers, I brought it up and they fixed it immediately.
Throughout the work being done, Derek continually checked in with me to ensure I was kept in the loop with what was happening.

Desert Valley Landscaping provided all our renovations in 2020 in the backyard using a landscape architect's plans that we had previously engaged. This inlcuded a large amount of pavers, a built in barbecue, artificail grass, lighting, plants, and drip irrigation.They did an excellent job, finishing on time and in budget. In spite of a 2 year warranty on the pavers they installed they came back recently to provide repairs due to soil expansion and the lifiting of some of the pavers. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have any type of landscaping project completed on thier property as they stand behind the work they provide.

I was so impressed with the expertise that Chuck had with plants , trees, bushes , boulders when landscaping my neighbors home. I had to go over to him and ask him, how do you know where each plant, tree , bush Boulder even go ? I heard him with his crew, put that there, this would look nice over there, put that tree in the corner, I heard him saying, color , put color in the front, grab those plants and place them on the side! My head was spinning! I just could not believe the expertise and passion for designing a home that came from Chuck , the owner of this business! After I spoke to him about how impressed I was , he told me he loves this work but I told him , you have to not only a love your work but have the knack for designing!! He was amazing ! The energy that came from him was unlike I have ever seen in a man placing plants and trees where they would look just like in a magazine! After a few minutes of talking, he gave my husband some advise on his planting and where things would look nice as we are in a new house needing lots of landscaping . I just never expected this guy as busy as he was , to take 15 minutes to give his expertise advise . It sure doesn’t take much to be friendly but Chuck really extended his kindness and shared his expertise with us that meant more then he would ever know!!! This is the kind of business I would highly recommend and trust ! Hands down!!! He deserves a 10 stars n my book !!!

Another outstanding job by Desert Valley Landscaping! We wanted upgrades to our existing new landscape package, which they did for us when we purchased our new home. Dylan Jones and his crew not only placed new rock for us, they took the time to fine tune the entire landscaping, and we are very impressed and happy with the results. They are truly a 5 Star Company!

These guys take pride in your yard as if it were their own. I had a new paver walkway installed from our driveway to our gate which turned out amazing. At the same time they removed a tree from another section of the house, planted a new tree, planted a few new plants, cleaned up extremely well and kept an extremely professional and partnering rapport with me all times. This is what I took away from all this, their partnership, Juan and Feliz along with Derek really took into account what i was looking for and made it look better than i envisioned. I will try and post pictures later. Cant wait to get started on the backyard later this year.

It's been a pleasure working with Desert Valley Landscaping. Neal was great at designing and follow up. He went above and beyond to get the job done. The true artist in motion was Shane who advised and planned a great backyard installation of plants etc. He is very professional and attentive to details. I highly recommend him.

We have bought a new home with DR Horton. The company they hired to do landscaping is this one dessert valley they were suppose to add more dirt due to my foundation being extra exposed and super uneven on April 19 from 8am-4pm. They haven’t showed up at all and haven’t gotten a call to reschedule. This is an issue because on may 29 we start our backyard landscaping and the company we hired will charge extra to add more dirt. Don’t use them since they’re not professional at all haven’t gotten a call to my warranty representative to fix this issue. This is my last resort because I know desert valley won’t pay for my bill for extra dirt and dr Horton will not. Extremely annoying!

My wife, mother-in-law, and I just had Desert Valley Landscaping do our back yard at our new home in Marana, and we now have an exceptional view, a beautiful back yard, and a design that is awesome. Everyone involved from Desert Valley Landscaping was professional, courtesy, and made it "happen"! And they went above and beyond expectations, making the end results simply great. They took care of everything, and when done, the cleanup was perfect. We have used other companies in the past, and put Desert Valley Landscaping on the top. They are the best! Thanks you Chuck, Dylan, Neil, and everyone else involved, from start to finish.
