We are under contract to purchase a home with full solar, including hot water heater, and it was difficult to find a company that would do the inspection for both. The Solar Store really came through on that account. Not only did they make time in their busy schedules to get out to the house the next day, (our inspection window was getting smaller by the minute), but they even showed up a little early so it saved me time! They were professional and personable and such a help. I was impressed with the knowledge and really appreciated the explanations and patience with all of our questions. They have even offered to help with the monitoring and making sure we are comfortable with the system going forward. With advice from the good people at The Solar Store, I recently switched my 10 year old home solar system from a single string inverter to more efficient micro inverters at each solar panel. Everyone I contacted at the office was friendly and knowledgeable. The technicians that performed the inverter conversion were very experienced and professional. The solar pool heater we purchased from The Solar Store has worked very well. We are no longer relying on only the sun shining on the pool to warm the water. We have been able to bring the water temperature up to 85 degrees by the end of April and, this year, extended our pool time to the end of October. This has been a great investment for us and we highly recommend it.

We are happy with our experience with the Solar store. They came out and accurately sized the system (number of panels) so that we can, throughout the year, enjoy either no or low electric bills. 2023 had us pay a total of $30 for the year-in a year where we had record heat!

After interviewing another company we called The Solar Store, just to have a comparison. We went with them due to sales presentation (the outline they provided on installation approach, costs, years in business, online reviews...) Everyone from sales, to install, to inspection was friendly, professional, on-time and on budget. We cannot say enough about the install team--you guys rock! Jesse, what a pro. They installed ahead of schedule, called first to OK their arrival, worked on it from early to late each day until done. Took 3 days. Then the company sent an independent technician to do yet another check on quality. They all made everything clear and easy for us. Even the office people are professional and helpful when I have called. Ours is a 16 panel home system. We are up and running and according to the very convenient online monitoring system with Enphase everything is working well and we are generating power. Thanks folks--it is so nice to have a contractor/service do exactly what's promised as promised.

UPDATE: Over 4 years after our installation we are 100% pleased with going solar and The Solar Store. Over a year after installation we had a change we wanted to make with our panels. The Solar Store made the change for us and charged not one dime. Great company, quality equipment, quality crews!

We had our old solar panels taken off before reroofing, and then had a new system put in. This time we decided to put in the new battery backup system, and we are very pleased with the results!
Solar store was excellent was great at communicating, and kept us well informed of timelines, in additional to what we could expect from county permitting.

My backup battery controller was having issues. I called the maker (ENPHASE) who suggested an onsite visit. They asked for an OK time. I gave them a 4 hour block over 2 weeks to NOT schedule. You got it, that was when they scheduled it which conflicted with a medical eye treatment that was hard to change. I spent 2 weeks trying to straighten it out to no avail. I was copied on email to the schedulers but nothing.

We had our system installed back in August of 2015, and over these past 8 years, we have had only a couple of issues that had come up. In both cases the Solar Store was there to solve the issues. I originally calculated a 10 year ROI, which I am on track to achieve (give or take a few months). I chose the Solar Store back in '15 as I was looking for a quality minded company that was based locally and, hopefully, wasn't going to disappear after a few years. With a system that has a 25 year warranty, and not yet at the halfway point on my system, I believe we made the right choice in going with the Solar Store.

I have never been so pleased with a company before. Any work they do or did is done quickly and safely.
We have had our system for years and we saved even more money then they told us we we would.
I have no problem if a new customer would like to speak with me or would like to come an see our system and talk to us about it.
This is an honest company that you can trust. We enjoy working with them and whenever they come over we are happy to see them.

Solar Store service call on 1/31/24 was excellent. Jeff & Duane arrived 20 minutes early (outstanding), completed a thorough troubleshooting of my issues & resolved the problem. Jeff was particularly knowledgeable & also adjusted tank settings to ensure most efficient delivery hot water maximizing solar aspect. All questions answered & on to their next job in 45 minutes. Great work.

the Pre-purchase meeting was very complete. The representative spent time ensuring the system would be sized properly.
The installation was completed in a timely manner, the technicians were polite and professional.
There was one minor problem months after the install that was handled quickly and completely.
We have been very happy with the solar panels and the Solar Store In genera.

All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and just awesome professionals. The installation was done in a timely and efficient manner with top notch equipment and hardware. If we have future work done, The Solar Store will definitely be the ones I call. They have also provided follow up checks to ensure systems working properly even though everything is still 100%. I highly recommend them as your first choice.

Having spoken to a number of solar compnies, I found the Solar Store more thorough, more detailed, more knowledgable of their product, and very easy to work with.

The house that I purchased here in the area had an existing solar system. We had a couple of issues with the system and the Solar Store was able to order some new parts for us and get them installed and did a great job! They are busy as you can only imagine, but they were great about keeping us up to speed on the parts availability and then getting out for service to replace the parts. I've found them to be very professional and nice as well, so I'm happy that they have been taking care of us and doing a great job! :)

Realizing that we had a very urgent situation she worked with leadership to give the green light for us to receive an ASAP service call. Mr Emiliano and Mr Fernando came right out, verified our system, solved our problem and assured us of continuing incredible care. 10/10 highly recommended for anyone especially if you have a loved one in Tucson and you are caring for their service needs for their solar long distance. I have personally found this companies workmanship, fairness, attitudes, to be of the utmost best in quality and care. Even though the company we had install our solar, ERUS, went bankrupted, The Solar Store was the ones I truly wish we had used at the initial start. They not only agreed to take over the maintenance of our equipment, they have proven themselves to be reliable and thorough. As of 12-1-2025, I have had a few issues now with inverters. My most recent problem was one one panel apparently came unplugged. It was initially thought I had a bad inverter, but that wasn't the case, somehow it came unplugged. The tech tried telling me the was mouse dropping near by. Of course, that must have been one smart mouse to know how to unplug that inverter. Cost me $95.00 to come out and plug that back in. Now just a few days later, more panels are showing up not working. I am becoming leary of this company especially when things keep going wrong after I have to pay for them to come out.

They were very professional. It looks as if they will be able to get someone out within two weeks to review hookup. Then they have to set another appointment to complete the hookup that ADT did not complete. The estimated price to get my system turned on seems seems high to me, but they have me at a disadvantage since I need to get this system turned on and the final circuit breakers hooked up. I will make another review after I see the quality of the final job completed and the quality and professionalism of the Electricians/Technicians and the total out of pocket cost.

Finding the Solar Store was a blessing. My original solar company had decided to stop installing solar. So I , as well as others that are going through the same situation are left out there to the wolves as I describe it, and to try and find someone to take over your system. Some of the companies I checked out will nickel and dime you for just looking at your system first and then anything that needs to be serviced after that. It's crazy, but like I said I was able to find this local business that is well established and is there for my needs if anything goes wrong. They take pride in their work and want to make sure you are satisfied with the work that was done. Always keeping a good communication that makes the customer happy.
