I had an old wood burning insert that had been installed in a gas fireplace. Rob was able to remove it and install gas logs--so now my fireplace starts with the push of a button!! He also cleaned out my chimney and didn't leave a mess AND was very affordable and fast! Highly recommend!

We would absolutely use Rob again and yes we plan too for all of our chimney needs! We had tried others but found Rob to be professional and prompt. His service was dive well and we appreciate it.

I wanted to convert my fireplace to wood from gas and Rob did an excellent job giving me pros and cons of each. He converted me over to wood per my decision and cleaned my chimney. Rob was knowledgeable, professional & thorough. He explained what all he cleaned & addressed my concerns related to the chimney flue getting stuck (that after thorough cleaning & proper adjustments-is no longer a problem). Rob and his other workers were great! We noticed water coming from our chimney Sunday night and messaged him. He was at my house by 3pm the next day and finished an impressive amount of quality work by sundown. He was very personable, knowledgable, and a good teacher to someone like me who doesn't understand all the intricacies of a fireplace and chimney. He explained everything he was doing and kept me in the loop through every step of the process. Very thankful for the work he did and thanks to him we now have a water/moisture free & working fireplace/chimney. Highly recommend these guys.

I’d love to write a good review but can’t because Rob strung me along for two weeks and never did any work. He cancelled two appointments and rescheduled them a week out. He didn’t show up at all for the third appointment. The fourth time He finally showed up , but forgot part of his equipment!! Imagine! The last appointment time and date - he never showed up, never answered his phone, never returned my calls.
I sent photos of the house and chimney. He accepted the job and didn’t think it was a challenge. Not sure why he chose to do or not to do business this way. I’m a retired Army veteran - I like a persons yes to be yes and no to be no. Sorry Rob! You may be a good sweep, but I guess I’ll never know.

Rob was awesome! He was genuine and very honest! He got us fixed up for fall! We had some repairs and now we’re good to go for this winter!! We will be using him for all our inspections and repairs to come! Definitely recommend him!

I started calling Chimney Sweeps with good reviews. Had a difficult time getting a person to respond while calling around. Getting a chimney sweep to respond and then actually listen to your problem before their inspection (yes after some payment) is a problem - not with Rob. He gave me ballpark figures based on pictures I sent him. I expected him to suddenly jack his price as he looked around but he did not give me any nasty surprise. I even offered to pay more because I asked him to do more for my peace of mind. To repair the crown he applied a coat of his compound and repeated it again after the first coat had set explaining all along what he was doing and why. He certainly has been doing this for a long time. Lastly I found him very personable with a delightful Robin Williams smile and laugh. He left saying he would be back if there was any problems! Deleted all other Chimney sweeps I was trying to reach after doing business with Rob

I am extremely please with Rob’s Chimney Sweep! He was able to get me in the quickest and had the best pricing. Not only was he professional and knowledgeable, I appreciated him taking the time to show me how to work everything and answering my questions since I had never used the fireplace in our home before.

Rob bragged about how he was the best in the business and basically trained everyone at the other chimney repair business we looked into. He promised quality work, made it sound easy. He came yo our home and pretended to work. He left us with a half painted fireplace and a promise that the issue was fixed. The first time it rained after that, water poured into our fire place like a waterfall. Clearly he did not fix the problem at all. We spent weeks trying to get in touch with him. When he finally responded to us he promised to make it right. He set up an appointment to come back and promised to fix it. He showed up hours late, sat in his truck for 20 minutes and then left without ever calling, he didn’t come in or anything. Now he won’t respond to us, and we are just left with a fireplace that turns into a waterfall and we are out $700. I would not put your trust in this person.

I highly recommend Rob, he is very friendly and knowledgeable about his work. He went above and beyond to make sure my fire place was in tip top shape. I will be using him again for sure!!!

Just moved and needed a chimney sweep because we dont know the history of the house. Rob inspected and cleaned our 1980s prefab fireplace quickly and communicated well.

I had been recommended to use him from several friends and he had glowing reviews from them. He was very responsive at first, but then ghosted me two times in a row and never showed up. He also left my friend with a broken dryer. Do not use him.

Highly recommend! Quality work, service with smile, above and beyond. He did a thorough job on the massive masonry fireplace in the middle of nowhere location. Explained details along with the detailed job. He is honest, knowledgeable, and careful. Arrived on time and was courteous enough to call ahead to see if arriving early would be possible. His rate/charges are comparable to others in the industry. Everything looked better after he left. No mess left behind and with beautiful results to the fireplace. I asked him if he would also clean the dryer vents while there. Which I didn’t think about when scheduling the fireplace. He was happy to do it. Adding, the two dryers work way better now. I already scheduled the next years cleaning.

I’ve used Rob’s twice now and have had 0 issues. Rob is very personable and walked me through the process and what to look out for to make sure the fireplace was in good shape. Cannot recommend his service enough!

I hired Rob to clear out a very long and winding dryer vent, and he and his team easily cleared a significant build up of lint. When my dryer still errored the next day, Rob came out for free and helped me research and discover what was going on (my dryer’s computer couldn’t understand that there wasn’t a blockage because the dryer monitors airflow indirectly through temperature and back-pressure, so a long, restrictive vent looks exactly like a lint clog to its simple algorithm), plus he called me later to share some potential solutions he researched! Affordable, great customer service, and skilled!

Needless to say that the air would go out on 1 of the hottest days and in about 2 hours after talking to Abel he was there changing the motor and was done in about 30 to 45 minutes. The price was very reasonable. From this point on he'll be the 1st and only person I call for all my heating and ac needs. Thank you so much.

My air conditioning unit malfunctioned on Memorial Day. I made several calls based upon timing for service and cost. I called David at Abel Heating and Air, and he was at my house before noon (approximately 1.5 hours after I talked with him) and charged a normal rate for the service call (not a premium due to a holiday). He did some troubleshooting and determined it to be the thermostatic expansion valve in the air handler. Due to the holiday, no parts suppliers were open. David called the next day to let me know the part was not locally available and would have to be express shipped if I wanted it the next day--I did. Shortly after he received the part the next day, David and a coworker were at my house replacing the valve and getting the system operational. It has been about a month since the repair and the system has been running fine. Over the past several years when I had air conditioning issues, technicians from other companies were able to get my system running but told me there was a leak in my system. David was the only technician to diagnose a valve as the problem, and the cost was much less than the repair advocated by the other companies. I am very pleased with the promptness, cost and quality of service David provided.
