Just visited this place. They have good selection, fair price for most, and cute layout but the customer service was extremely foul. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Better attendants would do wonders for this place.

Excellent work and great staff. Derek has done a great job on my yard, my sprinkler system, and landscape design. Knowledgeable about local plants, and grew up here.

I had lost a patient that loved plants and I went in not knowing what I wanted, just that I wanted to honor him somehow. I received the best help and was so kind. I'm grateful I stopped here today.

I love this garden center. It was my first experience picking out the right things for my plant, the staff were very knowledgeable, and I left as a satisfied customer. I would definitely come here again! :)

We found so many pre-bloom mums in such gorgeous shape, in many colors. Got a few in door plants off the 50% off rack. Everyone was helpful. *4 stars only because of the rocky terrain and the lay out, which to an older person could be dangerous and really impossible for someone wheelchair, walker, or cane dependent.

Beautiful store, love the layout, it's much bigger than it looks from the outside. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and eager to answer any gardening questions I have. They always work with me to find the right mulch, soil amendments, etc. for my needs. On the rare occasion that they don't have the right product, they will recommend a place that does.

My fiance likes going here. Great place to find rare and beautiful plants, however often times the plants look a little less taken care of than you'd expect for one coating hundreds of dollars up to over a thousand dollars.

Never again! Incomplete french drain installation! Don’t follow up on planned work Scatterbrained. Harassed by Owner, I assume he was owner. Overpriced!
But, they seemed so nice at first.

Today was my first time visiting. It was beautiful! Hunter was was AMAZING, answered all my questions. Hunter helped me pick out a lil pitcher plant, and showed me how to pot, and care for it. I have never felt more confident buying a plant. Will definitely be going back for more plants.

This place is awesome. It's pretty big (you will find all you need here) and I went there fearful that without having a base knowledge of plant care, I'd be in over my head and unable to communicate my needs (much less understand any advice). Right away I was put at ease, they are friendly (not pushy) and know their stuff well. I felt so comfortable (significant because I have social anxiety) that I asked other questions I had about plant care. They have a huge inventory of anything you could want or need and they know where it is. The prices are very reasonable (I'm not prone to spend money on anything that isn't an absolute critical NEED). I've been back since and will return again and again. They couldn't be more helpful and welcoming and my plant is healthy and strong! Plants I've had before weren't so fortunate despite my best efforts to provide for their needs. In summary : GO! :) Hocott's rocks. Tell your friends.

While visiting my family in Little Rock I decided to visit local nurseries I haven't visited before and I was so pleasantly surprised with this nursery. I love that they had plants that aren't commonly found in big box stores. I was most excited to find that they not only carried Jewel Orchids, but they are sold in a way to allow for a nice variety. The only down side is I was visiting and no longer live in the area! 🤣 (But I will be back!!)

I cannot say enough good things about my visit! I love the unique atmosphere and the variety of plants. Each member of staff I encountered was very knowledgeable and so friendly! I felt like they truly cared about my experience and about helping me find something special. Thanks so much, I will definitely return! :)

Thank you Hocott’s for your wonderful staff and the superb customer service!!! I was literally in emergency need of 4 boxwood bushes at the last minute & a fight to catch with no time to spare. It was very close to closing time when I called to check availability. They were very helpful with getting me taken care of quickly not to mention the quality of the bushes were excellent!!! Thank you again for going the extra mile for me!!! ❤️P.S. Don’t forget about the idea of the reception/wedding for the soon to be beautiful bride (co-worker) in the garden!!! 😉

Hocotts Garden Center is nothing short of magical! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an enchanting array of plants and flowers that make you feel like you've entered a botanical wonderland. The owner, Erica, is incredibly talented and her passion for gardening shines through in every corner of the center. She is always ready to offer expert advice and personalized recommendations, making every visit a delightful experience. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this place has something for everyone. I absolutely love Hocotts Garden Center and can't recommend it enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful nursery. My uncle worked here years ago, and when I was growing up, he would bring me venus fly traps because I just thought they were awesome. Obviously, I have sentimental attachment to this nursery. However, i went to Hocotts recently, and they still have a great selection along with great customer service.

Very helpful staff, very great vibe, people that work there really know their things about the plants they have there and are willing to teach you and show you things, very reasonable prices

Hocott's is a little gem in the historic neighborhood of Hillcrest. Unlike larger and more commercially-minded plant vendors, it offers an idiosyncratic collection of plants, not a few of them chosen with an eye to the local climate and to local tastes. I find, for instance, a variety of mint plants at Hocott's that I don't spot at other larger nurseries in the city.

In addition to its interesting assortment of garden plants and house plants — and the plants are well taken care of and healthy — Hocott's sells seeds, garden ornaments, gift items, etc. The staff are always helpful and cordial. On one occasion when we bought plants there, the person staffing the desk — perhaps the owner — offered us as a gift fresh eggs from her chickens and invited us to return at any time and get more eggs.

When my spirits are glum, I like stopping into Hocott's and just walking around. I never fail to spot something interesting there or some item my garden can't do without, like a wonderful fountain I got at Hocott's at a bargain-basement price last year, which now sits in front of my house next to the Boston ferns that mark the entrance to my porch.
