My heater went out right after the Christmas holiday, and I called Gilmore Heating, Air, and Plumbing. They sent someone out within a day to inspect the unit. Our AC/heater was over 20 years old and clearly worn down—it seemed like the previous owners hadn't kept up with maintenance.
What impressed me most was the technician's honesty. He wasn’t trying to sell me a new unit; instead, he gave me a straightforward assessment of what it would cost to repair the old one. After doing my own research, it became clear that investing in a new, more efficient unit made better long-term sense.

The next day, someone came out to give me an estimate, and within three days, my new unit was delivered and installed—just in time for New Year's Eve! They removed the old unit, handled everything seamlessly, and left my home warm and comfortable again.

I also signed up for their monthly service program, which is very affordable. For a small fee, they'll handle regular maintenance and keep my unit running smoothly for years to come.

Thank you, Gilmore team, for such an easy, fast, and well-coordinated experience. I’m thrilled with my new AC/heater and highly recommend Gilmore to anyone needing reliable HVAC services.

The crew was very nice and friendly. They finished the job faster than expected. The only issue was they did not clean up all the particles that fell on the floor and I did not notice until after they left.

Kong Vang, Gilmore Heating & Air technician arrived promptly, listened to the problem I reported and expertly isolated the problem and resolved it. I was very impressed with the alacrity, skill and professionalism he displayed. I signed up for the annual year plan and will continue to request Kong to service my HVAC needs. A week later I experienced the same problem with my heater not engaging and requested Kong which came by and assessed the problem providing a thorough explanation of the recurring problem and the solution to remedy it. Very pleased with his diagnosis and solution.

Gabriel did an excellent job. He was polite and very knowledgeable! I would recommend you ask for him if that is possible! Strongly considering a Gilmore plan!

I have been using Gilmore Heating and Air for all my properties. This was my third AC unit I have purchased through Gilmore within my family (old ac replacements) and the units are always top of the line and the service is unlike no other. Excellent products and service by all Gilmore team members. Always helpful and professional. My tech James who came to my property multiple times was great to work with. Very nice guy. Professional leading up to the technician arrival, and professional technician (Chris). I felt he was very thorough and offered good advice and good maintenance support. I didn’t feel like he tried to sell me on anything, but pointed out some opportunities. Paid for the diagnosis and got a bit of maintenance and support. Definitely not a “nickel and dime” approach and I will use again.

Joshua was very professional and polite. He was able to service the hvac system quickly and did a wonderful job. Much appreciated his service.

Tech showed up early, and did a stellar job. Aaron is definitely a credit to Gilmore staff. The tech that came out to help him did a excellent job as well.

It finally became time to replace our 20yr old American Standard Unit with a new one! I made sure to get (3) quotes and by far Gilmore was the best! Tyson came out and explained everything in not a huge technical language I couldn’t understand but went over our old unit, ducts and options. He listened to all my questions and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Then when the installers showed up they went over the whole process and did an amazing job! Today it is 104 degrees out and 78 in our 1929 Home! Now that’s a WIN and we highly recommend Gilmore!

Made an emergency call at 3:30 am. Got a same day response and appointment. Service technician Ronaldo was at my home by 8:30 am. Technician was thorough, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would definitely use their services again.

Gilmore Plumbing provided excellent & professional service. Ronaldo arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and explained it clearly give me some options for taking care of the problem and he fixed it. He was knowledgeable polite and efficient.

Update: This company called and paid Yelp! to remove the reviews on there. They have 255 reviews on Yelp and their average rating is 2.5 starts.

Original Review: I called to ask this company what is costs for a 20 minute repair with no parts needed. They told me the trip fee is $105 which is waived if they do the work. Well, I wanted to know what they charge per hour so I could estimate what the total cost would be. They refused to answer the question. I offered to take photos and send information, they refused. I understand some companies use marketing a low trip fee only to sign you up for a much more expensive job that really is super simple just to get you on the hook. What company doesn’t know their own hourly rate?

I ended up going with GoldenAire HVAC, a family owned HVAC company with better prices, better service and longer warranties on their product (10 years) and labor (5 years). Give John at GoldenAire. Much better experience.

Have been with them for years now. I'm on their membership program, which is very helpful to remind me to get the unit checked and with discounts. It's worth it! Their team is great! Weather it's on the phone or in person their team is super nice and professional. I would recommend them to family.

Water heater repair & evaluation was very thorough & reasonably priced. Technician answered all questions & advised of future concerns. We have been with Gilmore for over 20 years & have always been pleased with the service.

Had a great sales experience but at our very first warranty inspection, the plumbing tech shredded our water heater insulation, snapped our bands that held the insulation around the heater off, was asking questions about personal property in our garage, walked in the house without shoe coverings, say on my couch without asking and proceeded to ask to use our bathroom. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, absolutely disappointing service. When we called the tech back to fix the problems he service cutting the straps, tearing the insulation and yelled at my husband. THIS would have stopped me from working with Gilmore completely given we made a $17,000 purchase through them. I won't purchase another product with them after this. We've called three times requesting a manager and no one has called us back in a week. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. IT'S OVER PRICED AND YOU GET THIS KIND OF SERVICE.

Chris came out to service our furnace and was very professional about the whole process. We will end up needing a new system, but he did a great job explaining the condition of ours and the options to fix instead of replace. We look forward to having him come back for our next service.
