"I had my Daikin HVAC installed replacing my aged Carrier. Now that Summer is around the corner, I have it turned on this past days when these days were starting to becoming hot. It's producing the coolness quietly compared with my old unit. Plus the energy it consumes uses only minimal compared to the old one. I like that this unit uses variable energy depending on the setting against the current temperature. It's totally energy saver. Overall, I'm happy that Peter the owner of Tyndall suggested this Daikin for me which I was hesitant at first but now I like it. "

From start to finish Tyndall was a pleasure to deal. Peter, the owner, spent 20 minutes on the phone initially to educate me on the options and what to expect IF the were to get the business. A very different experience than the other company bids received who sent an "estimator" (code for a sales person that doesn't know the trade), who would need to confirm with a project manager before the installers arrived. Peter was onsite during the install with his guys. The install was CLEAN (see photos) and the unit is working very well. Tyndall will be my go-to for all future HVAC projects. Thank you!

Peter came out and gave us a quote for a Heat Pump and Water Heater replacement. He was super knowledgable and went over all the details thoroughly, explaining the issues that our complicated house would have and how they would address them. In the end, he gave us a very competitive quote and answered all my follow up questions in detail. We were down to the final two companies and although we did not end up going with Tyndall by the narrowest of margins, I would not hesitate to recommend him for anyone interested in upgrading.

I selected Tyndall because I liked Peter and Jason who came out to scope the job; their quote was excellent, and they accommodated our installation timeframe. When the day came for the installation of a 3-zone mini split the team was professional, courteous, and competent. It ask went smoothly. I highly recommend them.

The installation was complicated by rooflines and attic access but the crew arrived on time, was diligent and worked through the issues of placement for each possible location. They were very professional.

Once we had a plan, they installed it quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after and helped me access it through both the remote and through the manufacturer’s app on my phone. Well done!

Just had them out for an AC tune-up. They replaced my air filter while they were here too (I already had the spare filter).

Prompt, polite, and pleasantly tolerant of my 5 year being their shadow.

Tyndall HVAC replaced our 20 year old air conditioner and our gas furnace with a Dakin inverter-controlled heat pump and inside air handler. This also required replacing and relocating our 50 year old ductwork. The price was competitive. They started work within a week and completed everything in three days. The crew was respectful, focused on the work, and cleaned-up at the end of each day. Peter Tyndall explained the purpose and reasoning behind each of the several options offered. For this summer at least, our house is more comfortable and the new system is using considerably less energy than the old AC. We feel that we got our money's worth and recommend Tyndall HVAC.
Update 1/21/2026: Our house is comfortably heated and the additional electrical cost to operate the heat pump is somewhat less than our previous natural gas costs for December and January. Much to my pleasant surprise.

What can I say that alot of people haven't said already. When I called to get a quote they came out right away, and there was no pressure to do anything. As soon as I confirmed that I wanted to do the work I got a date and time and it was done right. All I can say is great job I will be using Tyndall again, thank you for your honesty and great work

You talking about small business that takes care of customers, Tyndall HVAC company was great! Called at 8:00am and showed up at 11:00am. Fixed problem in 30 minutes. I highly recommend this family owned business to service your needs! God bless

AVOID THIS OUTFIT
There are plenty of other outfits that will treat you better.

TLDR - The furnace they installed was leaking exhaust gasses into my house putting me, my wife and 8yr old daughter's health at risk and they wouldn't lift a finger to remedy the issue until I threatened a charge back or legal. We had the initial defective unit installed in February and the replacement wasn't installed until October.

I had a very old furnace that began to leak exhaust gasses into my house and needed replacing. Tyndall came out seemed knowledgeable and was fast and easy to work with. However, after the installation I had CO2 monitors in my house that were still showing rising levels every time that the heater would turn on. I let them know that the system was doing this and they accused me of having inaccurate sensors. I insisted and withheld final payment. They then tried to use a combustion gas analyzer to measure the concentration of ambient CO2 in my house and tell me that there wasn't any.

I had to get a calibrated envronmental CO2 monitor from another HVAC company to prove to them there was still an issue. Even after that they moved slower than a hungover turtle to address the issue and only under constant pressure from me. Eventually they did get the manufacturer to come out and evaluate a warranty replacement. Then I didn't hear from them for 2 months after which time I had to threaten a VISA charge back to get any movement. After the owner Peter yelled at me over the phone about not having the right to take money out of his bank for my gripes. I had to hold firm that our contract required him to install a functional furnace with a permit and that neither of those requirements had been satisfied and that would easily qualify for a breach of contract and allow a charge back. Only then did anything start to happen.

Begrudgingly they came out again and once Archon did their inspections and found additional untaped vents, Tyndall didn't come out to get the project finished right away but indicated they would come over when they were in the area and then proceeded to reschedule multiple times. Even after all of that the furnace sounds like a fog horn every time it turns on because of some resonance with the regulator.

What I have learned about the company is:
-They don't have the technical knowledge to know if they have created a dangerous situation or evaluate issues
-They don't care if they have created a dangerous situation
-You won't get any support for issues unless you are willing to pursue legal action to compel them

Great job coming on time. Friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable. Disappointed that priblem was not resolved. Strange odor from ac/heating closet was not identified. Very reasonable price. Would recommend to friends and associates.

At the end of the day I had a new heater and AC. I would recommend to anyone who needs maintenance or replacement of their HVAC systems!

Tyndall HVAC has done 2 "zone additions" in our home. One for a downstairs studio and another for our 3 car garage. All work was completed professionally, on budget, and on time. Additionally, they repaired our air conditioner compressor and replaced then motherboard" in our main system.
Highly recommend their service.
