    Arriving home, I discovered no hot water. Upon investigating, the problem appeared to be the pilot light was not lit. I'm not all that mechanical, and after reading the safety instructions with illustrated pictures of explosions if you make a mistake, I decided to call Pro Hot Water Service, and to my surprise, Mark picked up (on Saturday I will have you know). After a short explanation, Mark provided two options; 1) he would provide a service call on a Saturday with no appointment or 2) he would work with me over the phone to see if together we could rectify the problem. After sending him some pictures of the water heater, Mark efficiently diagnosed the problem, and talked me through the process of relighting the pilot light. Mark provided this service with no fee! I definitely have found my new plumber. I'm so appreciative for his generosity, professionalism, skill, knowledge, and overall kindness.

    I am always skeptical and cost conscientious when having to hire a contractor. When the water heater supplying my kitchen went out a few days before Thanksgiving I started calling around. A late evening email to Pro Hot Water was answered within minutes. After corresponding with Mark Plummer for a few minutes I was able to put a lot of my skepticism to rest. Mark came out the following afternoon and offered a couple of solutions. One, to replace both tank-water-heaters with a tank-less unit. A second option was to bridge the water-heater supplying my bathrooms to supply my kitchen. I was considering the bridging option when Mark phoned with a third option. He could replace my 26 year old propane kitchen hot water heater with a much more efficient 20 gallon electric unit. Mark assured me the 20 gallon unit was more then sufficient to supply my kitchen and dishwasher needs. The fact that Mark called back with a third option was impressive. I broke-down the price and my first impression was his price was pretty high. After making a few calls to other service providers I found Mark's price to be a little higher but reasonable. I contact Mark and asked him to schedule the work at his earliest convenience. With Thanksgiving two days away Mark went out of his way to make sure my kitchen hot water supply was fixed before Thanksgiving. The kitchen hot-water was back up and running the following day. I monitored Mark's workmanship and work ethics closely. Both were very thorough and professional. After everything was completed I reassessed the price. Accounting for the time it takes to go out and purchase the new water heater, parts & materials, the cost of the unit and materials, time it took to remove the old unit, install the new unit, modify the lines, cap off the old exhaust system, haul away & dispose of the old unit and the commute out & back twice. Everything considered the price was very fair. I also had to remind myself I needed and was willing to pay a little more for a professional, who was direct to the point and someone with a LOT of experience!! That is exactly what you will get with Mark. May you never have to call on him, but if you do you won't be sorry. Kind Regards, Rich

    Mark came out and installed a water line for our new refrigerator. It was kind of an awkward install but he did a great job! He was on time, neat and had all of the parts he needed on hand. He even checked back later to make sure everything was working properly. I would highly recommend Mark.
