Air Conditioning is life right now! My AC was working subpar recently and I contacted Whisler air, they actually responded via text which was perfect. I didn't even ask for same-day service but still got it. The same service I received from another company last year cost me almost $500. Whisler air added coolant, serviced my air conditioning unit, checked my thermostat and changed out my filters for $188. Made a huge difference. Highly recommend them. Do the service now before the AC goes out!

Whisler once serviced our AC, accidentally caused a leak, and came back out and fixed the issue and recharged the AC at no extra cost.

In an industry that's known to have companies that take advantage of people's lack of knowledge, Whisler is honest and reasonable.

I can not speak higher of Whisler and Tim. The whole team is beyond expectations. When I hired a big advertising HVAC company to come out for a what I was sure was a refrigerant recharge, they fixed a wire, never recharged the system, and never checked if the fix worked. (Spoiler alert: it didn’t)

They were so unsure of their solution, they literally suggested a new unit immediately when their fix didn’t work. It never even dropped the temperature a single degree. It took them longer to write up the charges than it took them to fix it.

Not believing this was the only route, Whisler was referred by a good friend and plumbing contractor as “the best in the business.” He said they were, “smart, efficient, and most importantly honest.” Just what I was looking for.

What he didn’t mention was extraordinarily responsive (responded to a text at 830 pm, had someone out the next day, and always communicated). They knew the problem the minute they walked up. The fix was made efficiently, fairly, and permanently. (Drained the refrigerant, sealed the system and replaced refrigerant. They also had to re-replace the HERM wire because the refrigerant was so low that it was pulling too many amps and burned out the wire a second time.)

I couldn’t be more grateful or impressed. Over the years I’ve found that the loudest screamers (advertisers) are often doing it to drown out all negative noise surrounding them. Whisler was fantastic and I would give them more than 5 ⭐️ if I could. I will never look anywhere else. Honesty and integrity matter and is the hallmark of their company. Believe it!

Fixed the AC quickly and at a reasonable price. Friendly guy. Would recommend this small business to others.

I would not recommend their service at ALL. My order was supposed to be done early morning but no one has showed. No one will answer their phone and when he did, I told him the emergency of the situation, I have a new born baby who is sick and for her to be in this heat doesn't make it any better, he hung up in my face and will not come out to fix the AC unit in my home. Horrible Service!!!

Last summer, I was having concrete put in and needed to have my AC unit moved temporarily. Every other company I called either couldn't do it that day or had an outrageous price tag attached. Leo was able to come early morning, disconnect, move the unit, and even returned that evening to reinstall it so that my wife and I weren't left suffering Bakersfield's heat all night long!

On July 2021, Leo Orozco supposedly installed a water pump for my mom’s cooler. No receipt 🧾 was given to her to proof that. She took his word for it.

On September 2021, her cooler stop working and she called a handyman. He stated that water pump was not a new water pump.

I called Leo on behalf of my mom and left him a voicemail. I called him several times to talk about our situation but he never returned my phone calls. I patiently waited for his reply and wouldn’t hear from him until I would insist again. He finally texted me. See our conversation below. I requested a receipt of the service he did on July 2021 but til this day I haven’t received it. Any other vendor would of provided this already. I believe he took advantage of my mom because if this wasn't the true, he would called/texted instantly and solved the issue. Instead I was IGNORED which leads me to believe he was DISHONEST. I have attached our text conversations below.

I would never recommend this company! We bought our house brand new 7 years ago in Northwest Bakersfield and in 2022 we discovered a coil froze and we called the company to have them come out. After several attempts they finally responded to which they came out and not only did they tell us that the pans were not under the units in the attic, but they assured us that they corrected everything and replaced the coil... Charging us $750.

Fast forward to 2024 and we are currently in escrow. The inspector determined that the secondary drain pans were not installed and in fact they were not built to code when the house was completed 7 years ago. Also noting that there was an air leak from the previous fix. Therefore, we called Superior back and left multiple messages for them to rectify the situation. Also questioning why they did not put the drain pans in in 2022 and 3 weeks later we have not received a call back despite numerous messages and now a full voicemail! Next step is small claims for whatever another need to come out of pocket for. In addition to a formal complaint.
