Amazing service. We moved to our house two years ago and Julio had been serving the unit with the previous own and we decided to use him as well to keep serving the unit for its maintenance. I am so glad we did, his service it’s amazing, he is very honest and communicates with you very good with any issues the unit might have. He had told the previous own of our house that the unit was old and might need to be replaced soon and he told us the same thing when we moved in. We, last week the unit finally stopped heating and after some discussions we decided to replace the unit rather than replace the parts since it was basically going to be a domino effect. He gave us a very good price for a new unit as well as an amazing warranty. The installation of the unit was fast and he replaced the old wiring for the thermostat as well as giving us a whole new smart thermostat for which we are so glad to have even though we did have a smart thermostat before. We are so thankful for his help and services. If You need you HVAC unit to be serviced, repaired or replaced I would 100% recommend using him.

We called Great Dane for a second opinion after we were told by a competitor that we needed a full re-duct. Great Dane came out and took actual pictures and video of the issues and fixed them for less than 5% of my original quote. They were super honest and thorough. Our system went from 10% efficiency to 90%+ in just under two hours. We recommend them to all of our friends and we will never call anyone else!

It's never pleasant to find yourself in the middle of a 108 degree Bakersfield summer day with a suddenly not working AC unit, but that's exactly what happened to me last week. My ancient AC unit needed full replacement, so I did my due diligence and started calling around to get bids from different companies (while sweating profusely).

Right out the gate, Julio was absolutely awesome. He not only answered after hours, but he took the time to explain different questions I should be asking all of the contractors to make sure I'm getting the best warranty possible and the most complete service. That alone was above and beyond-- he didn't have to do that, but it goes to show that not only is he about educating and empowering consumers. . . but that he also knows his product and service is incredible enough to stand up to that level of scrutiny.

After getting multiple bids from different highly ranked companies around the town, Great Dane HVAC provided the best warranty by a mile (literally about double the length of what many others were offering across multiple categories), but his quote was also very reasonable (and beat many of the competitors who were offering smaller units with less warranty for $2000+ more).

All along the way, communication with Julio was awesome-- whether via calls, texts, or in person, Julio communicated everything promptly and was just generally awesome.

Julio is awesome and I can't recommend Great Dane HVAC enough. They just left a little bit ago and my house is already back to a normal, refreshing temp. They've got lifetime customers now!

Chris was prompt during the scheduled time and very professional. Diagnosed and repaired the problem with my heater within the hour, and explained everything thoroughly so I understood. Will be using their services for any future HVAC needs, would recommend!

We highly recommend Econo-Air for all of our heating and air-conditioning repair and maintenance including our fireplace. They reconstructed our small dinky fireplace to a large beautiful all-stone fireplace, with a raised 2 ft., hearth which we thoroughly enjoy every winter!

I purchased a Kozy Heat gas log insert to convert my wood burning open fireplace to a closed gas system. Gary was very knowledgeable on all the inserts in the showroom. The installation crew arrived on time and the installation went smoothly and quickly. Our air conditioning unit stopped working yesterday by the morning it was 86’ inside our home. My husband called Econo Air Greg answered the phone and said someone will contact us today. Around 1 hour later Hugo called and was on his way. He did an excellent job very friendly and professional. We now air thank you Jesus for sending us a qualified efficient company. We bought a high-end AC unit from Econ-air in 2006 and it's running great in 2020. We also bought a fireplace insert from Econ-air in the fall of 2019 and could not be happier.

But the real issue in my mind is how we were treated, and how the service calls were done and so forth. Just today, Martin came out and did our annual AC unit service and he was respectful, he answered all my questions and was polite and very professional.

Over the years I've used other AC/heater companies for service, and they all did fine, yet Econ-air has an approach that is somehow both respectful and trustworthy and it stands out among the others.

Bottomline is that I highly recommend Econo-Air when you need ac/heating and even fireplace inserts. Good people, fair pricing and excellent service!

Service technician was absolutely excellent!! He went beyond my expectations.

My husband and I walked into Econo Air and the sales person was horrible. He wouldn’t even come beyond the desk that he was sitting behind and made us feel so unwelcome. We just wanted to know the price of a pellet stove. We would’ve paid cash, but he wouldn’t even tell us what our options were. Off the top of his head he said $14,000. I will never go there again. Also, I am a real estate agent in Kern county, and I will never refer anyone to them. Don’t get fooled all those advertisements are baloney! If I could give a zero star I would.

On one of the hot day in August 2021, Econo -Air Inc removed and replaced a AC & heating system in my home. It was a few weeks to get the unit in from the order but it arrived on time. The install took over 10 hours but we had a cool house at the end of the day. Don't waste time looking for a AC company to use, because Econo-Air is the one that will give you Great service, with a Professional staff. And if you are lucky you may get to work with the owner of the company to answer all your questions. Remember one call Econo-Air.

I needed to replace my HVAC system and decided to to go with a quote provided by Econo Air. The unit I wanted presented some installation challenges and their installers did an excellent job of getting the unit in and working. Econo Air incured some extra labor/parts expense in satisfying my wishes but stuck with their original quote. I was quite happy that their attitude was "the customer came first"!! I would use them again in a heartbeat!!
