Excellent all around. We’ve relied on Pelican for various plumbing and heating problems over the years, and I’ve always been impressed by their know-how and honesty.
We recently had a bad pilot light on our gas water heater. The gentleman who came to fix it did a simple repair that, while not inexpensive at $185, could have been much more in the hands of an unscrupulous plumber hoping to make a quick buck on a new water heater.
These guys are reliable and have the one thing that many others lack: integrity.

Had a plumbing emergency tonight, called 4 other plumbers who couldn't send someone out until later in the week before I found Clogbusters. They sent someone out right away, did an excellent job with a clog and an improperly installed pipe (installed by a different company), and they were very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend.

My home warranty insurance contacted Clogbusters Plumbing to help replace my kitchen faucet. When I reached out to confirm the appointment, the technician couldn't confirm. When I left a message, a dispatcher would return the call, but not able to find the technician. If they don't want to take the job, they should tell the insurance company directly. It's a total waste of time dealing with this company.

Very, very bad service. When communicating with this company, I was disrespected and ignored. I asked for a simple quote and was met with demeaning responses implying I couldn't 'comprehend'. Not sure why you would attack the intelligence of someone trying to hire your company.

A plumber from this company, recommended by Select Home Warranty, came out for a "diagnosis" and literally did nothing for us. He didn't even bring tools to check the area.

We asked hime for a quote for service, and he said he could not provide one – then he tried to say we might need to replace our whole system (mind you, he had not even examined the issue).

We got another plumber to come help, and the issue was resolved within 30 minutes. We wasted our money with this plumbing company. I do not recommend at all.

Helpful advice and recommended the right parts.

tough job and Gordon (expert plumber) kicked ass. I've owned rentals for 35 years in North Oakland and Berkeley and I've used this company several times. no issues. Most likely the bad reviews come from weenies that have no clue how hard being a plumber really is.

this place is crazy, said i have to pay for the tech as soon as he gets in his truck!! are you crazy.. then had the nerve to say "well someone has to pay them" i replied yes your company not me, i pay for work/labor. not his regular business hours. ) $176 a hour starting from the time he gets in the truck...)

Good job on patching a hole in my tire, though the price billed 40$ was higher than the one he gave me on the phone 30$

Horrible experience. Two weeks ago, I had an AC service done by a technician, and it cost me more than $800. Since I have a service contract, another technician came out a week later to inspect the system and assured me it was functioning properly. However, just a few days later, my system failed again, leaving me without air conditioning in 90-degree heat. I reachede out and was informed that my appointment was for the next day; however, no technician appeared to fix the issue. When I followed up with another call, they confirmed my place on the schedule for the following day. This service is awful, and I demand a refund if no one arrives as scheduled since it’s clear the system wasn’t repaired correctly.

These guys do a great job, especially on older systems. They’ve been maintaining several properties for me for over six years now. I recommend them to all my clients.
