Contacted this landscaper in February to install grass in my backyard. He came out and quoted right away. Was very excited, however, then he kept changing the date and not telling me. Each day he said he would be there he was a no show, I reached out to him and he said he had to move the date. This happened twice. On the third date of install I followed up to see if he was actually coming and no response. Very disappointed and unprofessional.
I had a 24 valve irrigation system that was totally destroyed when we installed the in-ground pool. Tony and his team did a full rebuild quickly and effectively. I truly appreciate his responsiveness to my call for service and his overall professionalism.
Contacted this contractor last week, completed their forms for name, address, project description, etc. At the end of submitting my information the web site stated I would hear from the contractor within 48 hours which has not been done to date. Communication is of utmost importance to consider hiring any contractor, and continuing with the contractor during the project. Update 09-05-2020: Jose, Thank you for reaching out to me by email after you located my original request of 08/25/20. I understand that these things do happen. We decided to place a hold on our project for now. I do recall using La Colina Landscape services many years ago when I lived at another home. Your crew did a very good job at a fair price. Hence, changing the original 1 star to 4 stars for your kind follow up, and attractive drainage (river rock dry creek) previously done at my other home.
We've used La Colina from the time we moved to Placerville in 1991. They have always performed really good work for us and we have always been satisfied with the work product. They have landscaped around our entire home and just recently poured a concrete slab for a new shed installation. The workers are hard workers and always friendly.
We went with La Colina to landscape our back yard and it turned out amazing! Tony and his crew were very accommodating and even put in extra features. Fair price, honest, and overall good guys. I'll definitely be using them again for future work.
