Wonderful experience shopping at Summerwinds Campbell! We were getting our backyard re-modeled and were looking specifically for shade loving plants. The staff was extremely helpful in identifying plants that would do well in our backyard, patient in answering all the questions and going out of their way to help us make the right choices. Special call out to Lee, who was the person helping us. She was super knowledgeable on the plants and their needs and was very helpful in mapping the plants to our needs. We went to other nurses before landing at Summerwinds, but once we went to Summerwinds we didn't have to look elsewhere. Highly recommend.

My favorite nursery!!! We have got so many plants from here from herbs like Cilantro and mint to flowers like Chrysanthemums. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is great.

This is a nursery with a big selection; unfortunately, I did not find any of the roses I was looking for two weeks ago such as the lavender Barbara Streisand Rose bush, Love Rose or Rock N Roll. Maybe, they were sold out? Although, they had a smaller rose selection than I expected for a large nursery. The rose prices were reasonable and started at $39.99. However, they did have a great variety of flowers and trees. It’s a very nice nursery with helpful staff members. I ended up purchasing two beautiful rose bushes with large blooms; one is Love Song, which is lavender in color by Weeks Roses. The other is a hot pink rose by Star Roses named Sweet Spirit. I also purchased a lovely lavender Australian Hibiscus, which I had not seen in lavender at other nurseries, and I bought a lovely pink Kangaroo. Great products and very helpful staff. Large variety of plants and a good selection of pots and other containers.

I received several plants with spider mites and one with a fungal infection. That's not an outlier, but be sure to check your plants.

This is such a cute nursery with wide range of collections.

I really love visiting this nursery and their Cupertino location! They have a variety of plant care products and some pretty cool mounted ferns! I shop mainly for indoor plants so I included a picture of the 3 I picked up last visit. A month later and these plants are doing great.

One thing I wanted to share is in regard to the Hoya Kerii I purchased. It has NO nodes, it is strictly a rooted leaf. I did ask the staff if they knew whether the plant had a node or two since I couldn’t pull the plant out of the soil to see for myself. However they didn’t have any knowledge on the circumstances of the roots, since they did not pot/prop the plant in-house themselves.
I decide to buy the plant and recently repotted it to discover a very healthy root bunch without any nodes. This is only important if you want to grow a full Kerii and not just a single leaf (:

Great variety of plants, a bit on the pricy end. One thing that stood out for me that they sell hatched lady bugs 🐛 which I didn't find in other places easily. Gonna kill the aphids in my backyard now.

We were looking for maple trees so we came here.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, also environment was clean and tidy.

There were also many plant choices. I even took home a fox tail.

Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, flowers, vegetables and trees. We picked flowers and plants a few times from here and it’s always a pleasant experience. Wandering around and looking at all the colors are fun. The staffs here are very friendly and helpful. They always greet us with smiles and they are very willing to answer our questions. Highly recommend!

I am a big believer of supporting local shops but unfortunately some stores take the local customers for granted.

As an avid gardener I have to consider cost and the service. Summerwind nursery have some good staff who are super helpful when you call or when they .offer training, mostly guys. Cashiers are very much hit and miss, the attitude of some definitely reminds you of Lowes’s gardening center staff who hate their job and not getting paid well! With price of items e.g. some name brand soils or fertilizers up to 40% higher than other local shops I wish the management would pay the staff well or invest in training for them in customer service and gardening. For gardening supply, seeds, etc there are better quality and price available elsewhere in the bay. For the management: may be add a QR code at the bottom of receipt so we can give you direct feedback to address the problem, and also help reward good employees (e.g. your wonderful and knowledgeable staff teaching about garden planning).

We had a wonderful experience at SummerWinds Nursery thanks to Sarah’s incredible help. My husband and I have absolutely no experience with plants or gardening, and we walked in feeling completely unsure about where to start. Sarah immediately made us feel comfortable and took the time to understand our garden layout and needs.

She carefully recommended a variety of plants based on the different light conditions in our yard, including areas with morning sun, afternoon sun, and partial shade. She explained everything in simple terms and shared practical care tips.

Her patience, knowledge, and genuine willingness to help beginners made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Thanks to Sarah, our garden is coming together beautifully. Highly recommend SummerWinds and be sure to ask for Sarah if you’re looking for expert guidance and outstanding customer service!

I have a tree trunk on my driveway coz of heavy wind last night, they just pick it up and put it on their truck. I did not even call them, they just pick it up and left, i just waved at them and said "thank you"
