These guys are fantastic! I had an unusual electrical problem that no other electricians could seem to figure out. I literally called 15 different places and even though their office or call center would say their electricians could help me, when they showed up they literally didn't know what they were looking at!

Speed of Light on the other hand was amazing! When I called, they not only were able to come out the same day to troubleshoot it, but they also were able to confidently tell me that they could fix it. They scheduled around my availability and had the problem fixed in a few hours.

We needed an electrician to come out very late at night to assist our small company with a major electric issues. After Leroy came he was able to get our unit up and fixing assisting this with our messed up circuit breakers even though was laid on a weekend night we think them for coming through at the last minute for us

Called Michael and he had Alejandro and another tech out promptly at the appointed time. Clean, efficient, professional and courteous. Did the job in one hour and rates were very reasonable. Would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Ask for estimate upfront.

I needed 3 switches installed. I contacted my electrician, he explained he had recently retired and arranged for one of his contemporaries to come over and install the switches for me. As I had never had an issue with my old electrician, I appreciated this gesture and welcomed MG Electric into my home.

He sent two electricians to install the three light switches and they were in my home for a total of 15 minutes. This was not an emergency call. They did not give me a written estimate for the work. They came, they did the work and they left.

I asked for bill when they completed their work and they said the office would mail one out to me. A week later I received a bill for $200. $90 for a “Service Call” and $55.00 per electrician flat rate for one hour each.

I called the owner - who aggressively mansplained that clearly I did not understand the costs involved in running a small business. That is was their policy to always send two electricians to every job and that the Service Call fee was nonnegotiable. If those policies had been explained to me up front or even at time of service, upon arrival - I would not be writing this review right now.

Here is my “non-aggressive response” to his policies about running a small business. Word of mouth and online reviews matter. Being upfront about your costs and policies are good business practice if you want return business with customers who pay their bills at time of service. I would not recommend using this company to anyone I know.
