Really saddened to have to write this review. After a wonderful initial meeting and consult about our landscape design project, Ramon has nearly ghosted us. We agreed to a landscape design over 3 months ago and still have not received even the first draft. We have reached out by text, email, and phone call, with no response for weeks on end. We were so understanding when Ramon finally explained his absence about a month ago, but he is once again not responding to our numerous attempts to communicate. I hope I can amend this review in the future, but as of yet, I strongly advise against his services if you have any expectations of communication or timeliness.

Sand and Soleil Landscape transformed my uninteresting, water guzzling yard into a welcoming space where we continue loving to spend time. We had only a vague idea of what we wanted (low water needs, low maintenance, extended patio, walking path, garden beds, lighting of some type). Ramon offered design options that met our desires esthetically and financially.
He and his crew are so easy to work with. I appreciate that they treat one another (and their clients) with respect and genuinely are happy to work together.

Stay away from Greg and his company, Alpine landscaping, at all costs. He is mentally unstable (he eventually even admitted as much and disclosed that he takes medication for this) and he will not hesitate to become angry in an instant over minor miscommunications or misunderstandings. He is verbally abusive and will attempt to be intimidating towards you if there is a disagreement. His attention to detail, his organization, and his integrity is seriously lacking and if you make any attempt to point this out he will come down on you with excessive anger. I can not emphasize avoiding this man and his company strongly enough!

Greg is a good talker and knows landscaping, but his performance was terrible. He estimated our project at 6 weeks and he is still not done after 5 months. I will be finding someone else to finish the project. He insisted on progress payments even when it was clear that he was behind schedule. Once he got all the payments except for the 10% final payment he pretty much totally abandoned the project. He was very unprofessional, used foul language when I suggested we delay a progress payment , and doesn't respond to messages for days or weeks at a time. He certainly is a professional at excuse making. The only time you could count on him to show up is when we had a check to give him. His workers did a decent job on the things they did complete, in spite of Greg, but didn't speak more than a few words of English, so you couldn't even communicate with them. I was probably too nice and he totally took advantage of that. Made a major mistake hiring this guy.

We could not have had a better experience with Alpine Landscape and its owner Greg. We just had a party in our new backyard and everyone loved it! The process From the planning through execution and follow-up was hassle-free. The level of communication during the week with my wife was excellent and he would even stop by on most weekends to update me. Even after the job was complete, he would check in to make sure the watering was right, replaced a few plants that didn't make it, and believe it or not added a few extra outdoor lights. The level of follow-up after the job was unexpectedly exceptional. We feel we got great value for the job; well beyond what we expected. Couldn't be more pleased with everything.

My grill was in need of a good cleaning, as it had over 2 years since the last professional cleaning. The gentleman that cleaned it previously retired so I searched yelp and was happy to find SD BBQ, Blake was extremely professional and prompt with a quote. Payment was easy, overall EXCELLENT experience!

I have worked with this company for years on several properties. They are top notch. I’ve met several of the technicians and every one has been on time, polite, professional and does a great job. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Good selection of built in BBQ grills, Dan was extremely helpful! Even though I live far from their location, they were able to deliver. It has been a year since I bought my grill, this past weekend they came out and cleaned my grill, Joe the technician was on time and did an excellent job cleaning my grill!

My cleaner marc was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was very well mannered and polite. He engaged in conversation and walked me through the process.

I can't say enough about Dan and his crew. They came out to my house the last two years to clean my BBQ and of course it was beautiful and looked like new. I kept telling them I wanted to buy a new grill and they said :you can get another season out of this one it's still works great".
How many companies would do that?
This summer they finally allowed me to buy a new grill and of course they came out and removed the old one installed the new one, five star all the way!! BTW I have never personally met Dan and crew as I have always been working but they have consistently delivered excellent service!

I try to maintain my grill and keep it clean, but a real deep clean requires a ton of elbow grease and time. So I was thrilled to have San Diego BBQ clean our grill - Kenny was prompt, diligent, and friendly. The grill looks practically new and it lights faster (also no more flare ups). The service was worth every penny!

I cannot say enough great things about San Diego BBQ. Raphael was our service person. He was professional, polite, worked SO hard and our BBQ grill looks brand new!

I have been using this company for several years and without a doubt they are passionate about exceptionally clean and well operating barbecues and so professional. They will not leave until your barbecue is in excellent condition and if there are any issues they will promptly repair them. I can only recommend these professionals as well deserving of status of Excellence

Great job today! First time customer and I’m very impressed. I appreciate Matt’s attention to the details and took his time to do a great job and very thorough. I was concerned if he would leave a mess behind because of all the rust and grease on my grill but couldn’t tell he was even here and was very careful. Good job Matt and I will see you next month for our other home. You have a new happy customer.

Another excellent grill cleaning by Matt. This was our second cleaning by San Diego BBQ, and second by Matt. Very thorough and complete job on my Weber Spirit 2 burner model. Matt’s conscience and pride in his work are obvious. I will definitely use SD BBQ (and Matt) for my next cleaning. Thanks to everyone at SD BBQ.
