Two years ago this same company (formerly Drain Guys, and now rebranded as Soo Hipp Plumbing, as stated by them) rooted our backed up kitchen sink and charged $89, which was a reasonable price. Yesterday, when the same sink backed up, I called them again , and explained the sink was backed up again, and that I was calling them because they offered a reasonable price last time. She said that the $89 in 2023 was a special offer, but she thought they could do it for a bit more, so I scheduled them to come the next morning (the next morning they rescheduled until later in the day). The technician who showed up was very friendly, but unfortunately he quoted me $436 (!) , which included sending a camera down the line. I said I didn't need the video and he said that without the video it would still be $436. So I called their office and spoke to both the person who I had talked to the day before, and the supervisor. I stated that they had suggested the price would be a bit above 2023's $89 (not $436), but they said sorry, their price now would be $436. I replied that last time the job took less than 30 minutes, and at $436 I would paying them $872 per hour to root a simple kitchen drain. So I thanked the supervisor and let him know that I would be rating them on line and that I would simply state what happened. He told me the call was being recorded (illegally?), and that he felt I was extorting him. I told him that I was simply exercising my right to post a review, and that I would only state the facts. The supervisor offered to drop the price to $200, and I refused his offer because they had wasted my time and I didn't think they deserved my money. Besides, how could a $436 job suddenly become a $200 job? Those are the facts, free of emotion. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this company at all.

Soo Hipp Plumbing came and replaced my outdated water softener system with a non salt system. The system was priced reasonable and was up and working the same day. So far the water quality is great and no more heavy bags of salt to deal with.

Soo Hipp will be my plumbing company of choice for life. The owner is honest, respectful and gets the job done every time. He genuinely wants the best for his clients and you can tell. The receptionist is also very communicative and reliable. She gets to know your name and your plumbing issues well so she is able to communicate with the rest of the staff smoothly.

I initially used Soo Hipp for a simple sewer line inspection. Even from that quick job, the employees left a positive impression on me because of their knowledge, their ability to explain things in layman's terms and professionalism.

I then used Soo Hipp to replace all of our drains. Although their price was a little more expensive than other estimates I got, I still wanted to use them because of the reasons above as well as their work is always done well, on time and efficiently. One day they had issues with one of their work vehicles, and our service was not even delayed at all. Everyone they employ has also been affable and professional. Their work is worth every dollar.

After they replaced the drains, we had some electrical issues which I had mistakenly thought was a result of the recent plumbing work we had done. When I approached Soo Hipp with my issue they didn't dismiss me or brush us off, as I think most other companies would. The owner took his time to come check it out and they even sent an electrician to help us resolve the issue and had even offered to have it fixed had the problem been a result of their work, which it was not.

I cannot emphasize enough what a pleasure it is to work with Soo Hipp. They just want the best for their clients and they will go the extra mile for you.

I hired Soo Hipp Plumbing to address my aging 65 year old clay main drain. I was interested in having my drains inspected after repiping my house after addressing some leaks on my old galvanized incoming water line. Seeing the condition of those old pipes, I assumed I could also be having issues with my drainpipes subject to the same subterrenean conditions. I sat with them as they ran their camera through all the drains feeding the main drain as well as the main drain itself. They were very patient and explained things thouroghly as we inspected the drains together. Most if not each connection of clay pipe had become seperated to a small degree but enough for the roots of my trees to find that drain water. I thought it best to ask them to blast those roots free and line my drains now while the issue was manageable rather than waiting for a section to collapse or become out of alignment enough to be impossible to run a drain liner through the old clay pipes. Glad I did it and have peace of mind regarding my drains. Their pricing was fair, the work was top-notch, and they are good hard working folks and easy to work with. I'd recommend Soo Hiip to anyone needing plumbing or drain repair.

Roger and his crew Hugo and Jose were excellent. All three were professional polite and hard-working. They did what they said they were going to do and finished it when they said they were going to finish. They kept us informed. I have nothing but good to say about Roger and his team. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Roger was so nice and accommodating. I needed some plumbing help with my toilet and sink. There was a couple of huge blockages. He cleared it up, showed me what was in it, and was nice to my needy dog!

Soo Hipp installed a new water softner system for us after we inquired with Eddie about the process and cost. They installed the unit and a smart monitor, as well as the needed outlet, and they drained our water heater. Any questions we had were handled quickly and the work done on time and even with a supply chain issue it was all completed in good time and the estimate was honored. This services was added on to other work and we didnt have to wait for a new work order or a new start date which is great when youre dealing with time frames where its necessary to turn off water. Our experience with them was great and I would look to them for quotes for future needs.

after replacing water pipe i get sandy water.i let the water run for almost 5 hours but still sands coming out from faucet. could not take a shower for 2 days

Have been using this place for nearly a decade. From new sewage lines to the street to fixing a leak under the kitchen sink, these guys do it all! They do it quick and with a smile. I will continue to call them if I need anything, as I have have been doing for many years.

Used what I thought were flushable wipes but sadly weren’t but Albanos came in & fixed it with fair prices & having a fast pace finishing up
