Kevin from CV says it’s normal to get the runaround between construction and Insurance company, this foster home he delayed thinks otherwise. No one ever came out to evaluate restoration job and yet is charging a fee after ( kevin comunicated with a third party to get measurements and photos instead of driving out ) i had gotten the urgent job done since i would not “go back & forth” on quote. If you have a job, save yourself the trouble and go with a straight shooter elsewhere. Quoted right, the first time. I’ll update this review on Facebook and other social media as well. It’s important as a community we help eachother find good honest businesses that dont say getting the run around is “normal”. Save yourself the trouble and keep swiping past this one. No representative came out from CV to attain photos and measurements. They were fraudulently attained from a third party Demolition company. I will be contacting the State Board and have their licence reviewed.
Look up License #1104250 Theyve only been a Licensed contractor for 9 months. This will be investigated and be updated.

great quality work! complicated project completed with great quality! kitchen cabinets, countertops, flooring, some plumbing and ductwork. great workmanship and they work with you to find exactly what you need for your budget. Kevin is a super-star! great communicator and always makes sure that the client’s interests are well taken care of!

Carlos and his team did a good job putting up dry walls in my house at Poway. They did a good job and cleaned up the site well. What is more impressive is that Carlos took care of the minor issue after I made payment. As we all know that after sale service is critical to homeowners. Call Carlos if you have any dry wall or reconstruction need.

Carlos and his team did an amazing job installing my at home ev charger , they were fast , efficient , and very professional. Super helpful and I recommend!!

We utilized Jordan and his team to convert an 500sqft accessory building on our property into a livable in-law apartment. Of all the the contractors we spoke with before starting the project, Jordan was by far the most reasonable in terms of realistic timelines, working within our budget, and helping us design a functional and aesthetically pleasing layout for the unit. The project went a bit longer than anticipated, but we are very happy with the end result.

Aside from a structural issue with the existing building that was discovered during an engineering inspection and needed to be addressed, Jordan was able to stay within the agreed upon budget set at the onset of the project (a rarity in building/remodel projects these days).

He was able to to help us navigate the ever-so challenging process of city permitting and obtaining HOA approval. (A word of advice to anyone planning on taking on a project like this, be prepared for the permitting process to take far longer than you think it will, because, you know, it's the government you're dealing with).

Jordan's team and the sub-contractors that he works with are fantastic. They are friendly, hard working, and treat you and your property with the utmost respect.

I would recommend Jordan and his team to anyone looking to construct or convert an ADU. Just be ready for your local government to throw you a few curveballs along the way.

This contractor is a con artist he will take your money and not finish. So far this year he has abandoned 3 projects that we know. We have reported him and will take legal action.

Jordan and his team helped us with our roof replacement last week. Exceptional work from beginning to end. The roof installation was done based on what we needed and recommendations they made as well. Workers were professional at all times, were here on time and always asked us to go check out their work or progress throughout the days. I highly recommend for roof replacements.

I don’t usually write reviews but I wanted to share this.

Jordan was working on a house down the street from mine on a rainy day and stopped by to let me know I really needed a new roof. He was very direct and honest. The price he gave me was almost $15,000 less than another company I was about to sign with.

I called him the next day and we moved forward.

What I liked was that he let me pay for the materials myself so I knew exactly what they cost, and I just paid him for the work plus his contractor markups that are very clear in his contract, That made me feel comfortable.

They removed my solar panels, did a full tear off, installed the new roof, and reinstalled the solar. Everything was done in two days.

We just had rain and I have no leaks. I feel good knowing it was done right.

I’ve used Goncon for years now, and they did amazing work remodeling our home, especially our bathrooms. Attached some before and after photos for reference. He was great to work with, and allows us to purchase our own materials for the project which allowed for maximum flexibility, which is what we wanted. We got exactly what we wanted, and his team was very professional and did great work.

Hands down our best vendor through our entire remodeling process. We did a complete gut and reno (see pics for before and after) and Jose and his team went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. Their craftsmanship is not only excellent but they are very professional - they communicate well, ask lots of questions, double check everything, make recommendations as needed, are respectful of your space and neighbors, friendly, and everything you dream of in a general contractor. We also constantly reviewed the timeline of the project as we went along and their team was on top of staying on schedule. There were some delays due to materials not being available but they always did their best to catch us up. They were also very efficient with their time - if there were any sort of delays, they would pivot to another part of the home to make sure things continued to progress. We still call them for small fixes and projects because we know Jose and his team will do things well and correct. Not only that, they find a way to squeeze us into their busy schedule. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Gonzalez Contruction SD did a fantastic job remodeling our master bathroom! Jose and his team were reliable, professional and courteous and we are very satisfied with the end product!

Jose and his team are extremely hard working, detail oriented, and provide quality work. We recently had Gonzalez construction demolish our garage, and replace it with a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom ADU, renovate our 1939 home with new electrical, plumbing, floors, walls, stucco, windows, etc. Every day neighbors stop us to comment how great our home looks. Jose was a great communicator, easy to reach and always doing his best to meet our needs. He would always tell us our options for cost and helped us to stay in our budget throughout the project. Jose stuck to the contract and we always knew what to expect for each invoice. The tilework in our bathrooms is one of my favorite parts of our new home. We also wanted it to maintain the character it had before and we feel like we got exactly that, our old home looks new again, but not different. By the end of the project Jose and his team felt like part of our family. They were honest, trustworthy, good people. We got quotes from at least 15 different contractors and design & build firms. Jose was the most reasonable and never came across like a sales person. Just a source of knowledge and information. He passed every inspection with the city seamlessly and can proudly share that he has never once failed an inspection. We never had issues with the city because Jose did quality work and met all their expectations. He was great to work with.

I had a great experience with Goncon, and highly recommend them. They do great work at and exceeded my expectations.
