Jose’s relationships with electricians, plumbers, and other subs made the process smooth. He was also available for further communication once the project was done. Work was done for a full remodel bathroom, a new-build room addition and laundry room. People always have some horror story related to consturction on their home so i was so nervous to start contrsuction, but Jose, our contractor, is as professional as they come, and so are the people working with him. I didnt think I could have a level of trust as I did with Jose and his team. The communication, change approvals, guidance, and recommendations that came from this team of workers surprised me in the best way possible. They put great attention to detail and the work is well done and durable. I will hopefully be using their services again in the near future for a kitchen remodel.

We’ve worked with Jose Gonzalez and the GonCon Design & Build team for six years now. They initially remodeled our kitchen in our downtown condo, and since then, Jose has guided us through a home purchase that required significant structural work. The GonCon crew has handled so much for us over the years: rebuilding cantilevered decks, fixing water damage drywall, plumbing, and lots of demo. More recently, they installed new floors, leveled our sunken living room, and replaced a non-working gas fireplace with an electric one.
What keeps us coming back to GonCon is Jose’s the high standards and his attention to detail. He can be in the middle of a conversation with us, spot a minor adjustment needed by his crew, and direct them in one fluid motion without missing a beat.
Jose is always upfront about project logistics and where challenges might arise. It’s rare to find a contractor who maintains this level of consistency and crew oversight across multiple properties. We highly value the expertise GonCon brings to the table and look forward to working with them on future projects.

Really exceptional work from GONCON. I've needed work done on my condo a couple of times in the past year, and was referred to GONCON. Jose came out and walked us through what needed to be done, and provided us recommendations (which we never though of and have made our lives so much easier). Again, they did a really exceptional job on condo.

I trust Jose and his team with our house. We've solicited some work that would have cost us a lot, and he gave us honest assessment on what was needed and was able to talk us out of spending money unnecessarily, and coached us up on what to look for and what issues are concerning and not concerning.

Likewise, his entire team have been professional, caring, and have done really great work. We're so impressed with what they've done.

GONCON DESIGN AND BUILD is really good on home renovation, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team was professional, on time, and paid close attention to every detail. I have used Gon-Con for the past 10 years. The work is top-notch and he backs any job that he does and is quick to fix any change if there are any. It started with needing some cabinets built for a kiosk we were under a time crunch for. Jose managed to get everything done for us within 3 weeks working into the late hours of the night. We were forever grateful. Gon-Con has also renovated our bathroom which turned out beautiful and built a fence in the backyard for us. He has serious attention to detail and his crew follow that to the t. I am a facility director and area manager now and hired him to renovate our sinks and all the conference countertop tables including the main entry countertops to the building. I have heard nothing but praise for the work. The last job I had them do was expanding the president of the Jewish federations office. It was a little tricky but they got it done no problem! Wonderful people to work with and I always call if I need some consulting about jobs. Jose the owner is strong and reliable and always puts out a quality finish! I would recommend highly and I have to quite a few of my neighbors that would say the same!

I called to get a quote to redo my kitchen from water damage and a quote for a wall, but Steve cut me off and said he was too busy. Not very professional.

These guys are really good and they are on top of their game. They did a very through examination on our fire damaged property and got us twice what the insurance company offered. Super knowledgable, friendly, professional, and their communication was excellent. Happy to recommend them.

We just finished our restoring/remodeling our home after a fire hydrant accident flooded most of our bottom floor of our house. David and Alex from C & L Construction made an terrible accident and gave us a silver lining. We are very satisfied with their professional and efficient work. Everyone told us 'contractors are never on time', but C & L is different! Not only did they customize everything upon our request, but they also met our tight schedule, even finished earlier! In order to finish on time, they started at 8 am everyday. Also when something needs to be changed or fixed, they were always there, and they always did it in the way we asked. Moreover, we were very pleased to see the professional way they used to separate the working area and our living area. The process was near perfect: communication was outstanding, all teams turned up on time, were courteous, cleaned up after themselves
C & L Construction did such a great job throughout the whole house, were so professional, and really went out of their way to make sure everything was the best. I had my home revalued shortly after the renovation and it skyrocketed in value because of the work.
Thanks to David and Alex and the Remodeling team I have a new beautiful custom kitchen and downstairs living room that I always wanted.

A little less than a year ago I purchased a used home. It needed a lot of up dating in a major way. I had previously hired AHI to remodel a little studio a few years ago and they did a great job. So we hired them again for my home. They rewired, fixed bad plumbing, added new beautiful wood floors, new bathrooms, new kitchen,lights, fans. It is good solid work. Guillermo the owner is one of those people who believe it's not just important to get the job done but you get it done right.. His work will stand the test of time. Price wise I believe he is very fair. I would highly recommend AHI Remodeling and if ever the occasion arises would certainly hire him again.
