Hector and his team replaced the main panel, 2 sub panels, installed recess lights, ceiling fans and a 240v outlet in the laundry room. Everything came out great! You can feel and see the quality behind his work. Highly recommend!

I’ve worked with Cano Electric several times over the past few years, and Hector has been consistently reliable and great to work with. He was originally referred to me by a friend, and even though he’s based in Chula Vista and I’m in Oceanside, he’s always made the effort to come out—usually coordinating it with other jobs he has in the area.

He’s helped me with a variety of projects, including installing wiring for outdoor lighting around the front, back, and side of my house, as well as setting up Ring cameras. Most recently, he hardwired my Ring doorbell and installed an electrical outlet in the front of my home for a water leak detection system near the main shutoff.

What really stood out is how thoughtful and detail-oriented he is. I didn’t want any visible plugs or cords in the front of my house, and Hector came up with a creative solution by installing a box to keep everything clean and hidden. It looks great and works perfectly.

He’s professional, accommodating, and takes pride in doing things the right way. I highly recommend Cano Electric if you’re looking for quality electrical work you can trust.

Hector from Cano Electric was great. I needed to convert my gas dryer to an electric one, so Cano electric put the new outlets. I also needed to charge my electric car. Hector responded right away to my requests. I inquired with other electricians and all quoted me $1000 more than cano electric. The other companies told me I needed another circuit breaker and other equipment. Hector made it all work and provided a great price. He was responded to all my questions immediately and gave me a heads up when he was on his way. I will definitely work with again.

Some of my kitchen outlets stopped working while I had some contractors working on a separate plumbing issue requiring them to cut through drywall. I found Cano Electric through Yelp. Hector was responsive, provided a clear quote, and was able to diagnose my issue within minutes. My other contractors accidentally cut through an MC cable which cut power to my outlets. Hector did not charge me for the initial visit to diagnose the problem. He returned the next day, replaced the MC cable, and restored power to my outlets. His price was very reasonable compared to other licensed electricians. If I have another electrical issue or project, I will be keeping Cano Electric in mind.

Cano Electric was my 3rd estimate when remodeling a studio apartment. I set up an appointment with Hector (Owner). He was on time and very outgoing. I explained to Hector that I wanted to change out outlets in the studio before our daughter moved in. Hector is very knowledgeable and as we were walking outside our house and to the studio apartment his first recommendation was to run the power from the power panel along the bottom of the house to the studio. He mentioned that this would remove several conduit runs that were running along the house. We walked through the studio apartment and he made a couple suggestions that would really assist in upgrading the studio's old wiring. He also suggested having a sub panel installed for the studio as all power was tied into the front house's electrical system. Hector gave me a great price to do the work without a new sub panel and one with a new sub panel installed. We decided to have a new sub panel installed. We set up an appointment to get the work done. Hector showed up earlier than scheduled on the day he started (a plus for me). It took Hector about a day and a half to complete the job. As we conducted a final walk around I noticed that Hector had installed extra outlets beyond what was agreed to. He installed additional outlets for a garbage disposal, a vent hood for above the stove, 2 additional outlets for kitchen cabinets that were added to the remodel and even put the bathroom vent/light combo he installed on separate switches at no additional charge. Hector's work quality is A+ and he goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Hector is a honest, hardworking Electrician who puts the Customer first!! He will earn your trust! A local company with very reasonable prices and quality work!
