The staff at City Electric Supply in C. V. are top notch all the way's arounds...

Our breaker went out. Ordered one online from a major retailer was supposed to be delivered next day, but here i am on day 2 still without this circuit breaker. I'm glad I googled and found this place. I Didn't know about this place was around. I called to confirm they had what I needed and they did. I picked it up, was in and out in under 5 mins.

Thank you so much to Leo and his wonderful service technicians, Nars and Diego. They replaced my old smoke detectors with new ones and were exceptionally courteous, respectful and professional! Will recommend your business to family and friends!

Summary: No called-no showed twice, sloppy workmanship, and possible code violation.

On the first day, neither electrician spoke English, making it difficult for either of us to ask questions and understand what was happening. day, SD Electric ended up misdiagnosing the problem as a bad circuit breaker. The circuit breaker they used as a replacement is clearly used and somehow looks much older than the 50-year-old breakers already installed. The problem returned that night.

I scheduled a second appointment and while SD Electric initially scheduled an quick follow-up appointment, they ended up not showing up without so much as a phone call. I reached out again and scheduled an appointment for another day and again, SD Electric no-called, no-showed. Once they finally showed up at the third appointment time, the new electrician found the issue was with the kitchen outlet.

SD Electric did a sloppy job replacing the outlet, leaving electrical tape hanging out of the front of the outlet. Finally, they also used a standard outlet on a kitchen countertop where I am fairly sure the electrical code requires a GFCI.

Leo and his crew did great work for us. They were on time, professional, and hard working. They helped us upgrade two panels and lay some underground wire. I recommend Leo and his company without hesitation.

Leo is extremely professional and efficient. He listened to our description of the issue and went right to work to locate our electrical problem. I was desperately in need of an electrician for my home- at 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. I called around numerous electrical companies (ones that were still active/open) and could not find one available…. Until I called SD Electric Technologies. Leonardo answered and asked what the problem was and the location. He arrived WITHIN 15 minutes of texting him my address. Once he arrived, I showed him my breaker panel outside and instantly he knew what the problem was, stated he has the 100 Amp circuit breaker in work vehicle and provided a quote within minutes. I agreed and he was done within 20 minutes. We went inside, tested and troubleshoot a few items and BINGO- problem resolved. Leonardo is the definition of a true professional and not only was efficient and prompt but after speaking with him I knew he knew what he was talking about Electrical wise! Had all the answers and explained them easily to me.

We had to upgrade our extremely old, extremely small electrical panel and had no idea where to start. Nars came out and was patient enough to explain the entire process with me. He helped me deal with the permitting process with the city and logistics that I was honestly too overwhelmed to deal with. Throughout the process he kept me il formed and up to date and when the day final came, his guys were professional, on time and super helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend!

SD Electric came out to install a ring camera flood light above my garage door. They did an excellent job with preparing and installing a joint box and run new wire. Installed a EMT metal pipe. Looks very clean and professionally done. Scheduling an appointment was easy and quick. Crew was professional and friendly.

Hired this company for Main Panel Upgrade and they did an excellent work upgrading the panel from 100 amps to 200 amps and most importantly they did an exceptional job reorganizing the wires as it was not done right originally. Communication from start to finish was exceptional as well. One very satisfied customer.

They did such an amazing job last year with fixing and helping fit a new chandelier that we decided to reach back out for some more work.

This time around, they were able to replace four pendant lights with some recessed lighting and completely set and install two new pendants on a dimmer over our kitchen counter (was just ceiling before- so they had to route electrical somehow). They even patched the walls and ceiling and matched the wall texture with their patching.

They were prompt with their response and professional with their work, and they did it all fairly quickly on somewhat short notice. When we realized the new lighting we picked out wasn't a good color tone for our space at night, they even offered to help us replace it.

Again, couldn't be happier with them.
