I bought an EV recently and was looking for a service in the Chula Vista area to get a 240V outlet installed. We have moved to this area not long ago and I had no contact with an electrician in that area prior.
I called SD Electric Technologies and Leo responded right away. The appointment was booked in no time. What I very much appreciated that prior to the appointment Leo looked up our residency and made already suggestions how the outlet could be installed and sent fotos of how it might look like. What made my decision to work with Leo's team even easier was that he offered, by far, the most competitive price. Alex, one of his employee came out to do the job - had to come back though, because co-incidentally he installed the wrong plug-in and to change it, for no additional charge. Alex was very knowledgable and very pleasant in his one-to-one exchange. Invoicing was done hassle-free electronically.

In summary, I was very impressed by the professionalism and how smooth things have been handled. I have an older, 4,500sqf house from the early '70 with tons of minor electrical issues. - But I definitely know where to go now for any other electrical job in our around my house !!

My husband and I needed an electrician to help us with our home office. We kept throwing the breaker as we just had too much of a load with our computers on. I searched around on Yelp and found SD Electric Technologies. I gave Leo a call, who was extremely professional and kind. He came out the same day and gave us his recommendations and a quote. We could not be more pleased. The work was scheduled quickly, and the guys were clean, professional, and did an excellent job. We could not be happier. We already have another job scheduled with them and are now thinking about getting some recessed lighting put in. I highly recommend them if you need an electrician. We will definitely be using them in the future.

SD Electric Technologies was my electrical contractor for my yard remodeling project. They were easy to work with - very professional, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. They were flexible with timing, as they had to work around my master landscaping contractor. While there was one minor building-code misunderstanding that caused an issue with final inspection, they rectified it conscientiously. Finally, they were reasonably priced, with their quote coming in significantly less than the electrician recommended by my landscaper. Recommended and will use again.

After multiple past experiences with electricians who overcharged, communicated poorly, or did work that was incomplete or incorrect, working with Nars with SD Electric was genuinely different. From the start, their communication, transparency, and professionalism stood out.

My home was built in the 1930s and still has older wiring with several complex electrical challenges. This was not a straightforward job. SD Electric took the time to thoroughly assess the situation, troubleshoot intelligently, and explain options clearly, which immediately built trust. The level of care, attention to detail, and technical skill they brought was unlike anything I’ve experienced before.

What impressed me most was their ability to find creative, code-conscious solutions on the spot—solutions that other electricians either missed or said were not possible. They successfully ran power from the new main panel to the subpanel, which was not an easy task given the layout and constraints. Very efficient and punctual

Technician helped me reset a gfci and associated resets and was super helpful and efficient.

I called in the morning and they had a guy out by the afternoon to have a look and fix what was wrong with my outlet. The electrician was very polite and professional.

I had my rooms remodeled and hired Luis to install fans, redo wiring and repair all the outlets. Was very pleased with the work and for my next projects he’s my go to guy. 👍
