Gil came out today and alongside my dad they were able to install new electrical covers and fix some electrical problems in my new home! Gil was amazing, thorough, and well versersed in his knowledge of the electrical craft! Worked hard and made me feel comfortable and confident! Will absolutely be using him again in the future for all our electrical needs! Thank you!

June 26th lost power to a bedroom with ckt breaker not blown. Called out electrician from CELCO. After two hours of trying to find problem, they said rats chewed thru wire in wall and said the best repair was to run new wire thru conduit outside of house from breaker box thru wall into bedroom. After the repair I still had two outlets not working, one in bedroom and one in garage. I was charged $750.00 for this repair. They had cut a six inch by two-inch hole in the side of my house to run conduit) pictures available. I called another local electrician who in 15 minutes found the outlet burned out in bedroom and another on the same circuit in garage. The repair was made (two Outlets) and I was charged anther $150.00 for this repair, which was the actual problem, Celco has untrained technicians. Two so called electricians caused damage to my house, I live a gated private community who do not tolerate shoddy repairs like this. After calling CELCO they denied wrongdoing and poor repairs. If you decide to use them, be prepared for excessive costs and poor repairs.

I had a very bad experience with this company and want to warn others. I have filed complaints with the CSLB and the BBB and am currently in contact with the CSLB Fresno Investigative Center. After the technician’s visit, my electrical panel was left in a condition that appears unsafe and not code-compliant, with two conductors landed on a single breaker terminal. This created a dangerous situation and resulted in loss of power to much of my home, and I am concerned for the safety of my family.

A technician came out to look at an electrical issue and accessed my breaker panel. He told me everything was fixed and that I just needed to swap in a replacement breaker when it arrived in the mail. However, within about five minutes of him leaving, most of my house lost power and stopped working.

This was not the condition before he touched anything. Immediately after his visit, outlets and appliances stopped working, my refrigerator lost power and food spoiled, and I was left with a much bigger problem than I started with. And this is a home with children in it and he knows that.

I tried calling and texting him repeatedly with no response for over 30 minutes. He eventually said he would come back to fix it, but then refused to return because my neighbor had called him separately to complain. I did not ask my neighbor to do this and had nothing to do with that call, yet I was still denied follow-up service.

Whether this was incompetence or negligence, the result was real damage to my home and property and then a refusal to correct it. I would strongly advise anyone to be extremely cautious before letting this company work on your electrical system.

Well, to start with I called my home warranty company and requested help as the back portion of my house stopped having electricity shortly after we moved in the 1st guys they sent out could not figure it out after 2 visits to my house then they just quit and my warranty company hooked me up with HERRING ELECTRIC, and after talking with Simone and her working with my schedule which was afternoons only, and I'm all the way down in Visalia as well, she got us an appointment. Then Mark came out and was on time, polite, and most importantly knowledgeable! He knew his business and made short order of our electrical problems. He had us back up and running withen 2 hours, and the other company couldnt figure out anything after 2 trips and twice as long on the job.. THANKS AGAIN MARK!
