Ian was amazing on both accounts of having him here to fix our spa heater and our booster pump. Highly professional with great customer service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great pool company.

I live in Oakdale and had to use this company in regards to a home warranty claim. Ian came out originally 7 months ago (he claims) for a check valve that malfunctioned that He installed as a new part 7 months ago. After filing another claim he arrived again today for another repair. While removing the cover of the valve he said the screws were loose and either vibrations or dirty filters were the cause and that he's seen it before. He cleaned the top of the valve, silicone it and gave me instructions what to do in three hours after silicone dried. That was too "turn the pump on if I still saw a leak to turn the pump off. Where I still see water leaking, turn the screws 1/4 to 1/2 turn until the leak stops". This sent up a red flag for me as I never heard a technician asking the customer to go back over their work. I didn't worry about it at this time..
Three hours later I turned the pump on and the part immediately started leaking worse than it had before so I turned the pump off and video taped the rest of his instructions
I realized after attempting to turn the first screw that it was stripped, I tried the second screw and that one was stripped as well.. After explaining what I was doing on the video for a few minutes I sent Ian a message requesting he call me back ASAP.. When he called before getting into the problem I asked for his supervisor name which he says he's the supervisor. Then I asked for the CEO name and again he states he's partially the CEO and he would have to be the guy I deal with..I realized I wasn't going to get any numbers or names from him and with three previous call attempts that were not returned I explained to him what was going on..I explained that the screws were stripped. Ian imminently claimed a manufacturer defect. He would get that covered but there would be out of pocket costs. (Later I found out those cost were 200 dollars.) That's when I flipped out and told him it was either stripped today upon the repair or during the initial install.. His response was how did he know if it wasn't me that stripped it. I said well you can watch it on the video I recorded showing what I did...He then got defensive and said I was stating his company or him was to blame. I explained his company was the only ones to have their hands on it.. and if it was a defect why didn't he figure that out the first or second time. I've never heard any service person say please check my work and attempt to repair after me if it doesn't work.. Instead of saying if it still leaks please contact us and I will come out and look at it... Unless you are attempting to have a argument for you stripping the bolts. Not realizing I would record my self... Now I'm being contacted stating I have to pay 200 dollars out of pocket to get the repair done right.. Or else... Don't use this company, dont use this guy. I was not disfespectfult to Ian, I just stood up for myself as a home owner and this guy got very defensive... The ones with stuff to hide always do...Update Update...27June "Ian" claimed repair of his mess up could not be done without redirection of pipes and out of pocket costs at least 200 dollars. I had another company that did in fact fix it without moving pipes or any out of pocket costs. That leaves to possible conclusions for Ian and Aqua Brite. Either Ian lacks the knowledge and abilities to do this job and in that end up costs customers extra money they shouldn't have to pay or he and his company are crooks trying to charge the customer to get money lost by low balling the bids for the job.. either way it is all bad.. Don't use these guys our let Ian touch your equipment, it might save you some stress and hard earned money...

This contractor is one for America home warranty. Guillermo is a technician came out to check my pool pump. Without even checking it said it was burn out because we left it running without water in the pool. He recommended we get a pool leak detection technician to check out the pool. I don't understand the reason behind this request if we don't see any signs of leaks to validate his recommendations. Stay away from this company. I had to give them 1 start to post my comment. They are negative 3 stars in my book.
