We are very happy with CTL. The team did a great job on the concrete, artificial turf and landscaping in our backyard. They were very professional. They also did a great job on my mom’s front and backyard. The results are beautiful.

This company does lawn service for my Apartments. They do don’t do a good job at all. They are very rude, with bad attitudes. My guess is, that if you live south of Shaw, you are just not going to get good service. That is not okay to treat people bad and then do terrible lawn service. Everyone cannot afford to live north of Shaw, but we should still all receive service done with pride and care. Do better please. You are getting paid for your services. My apartment complex has a contract with your services.

Justin and his team are amazing to work with. We had them do our front and backyard turf and add additional landscaping to our backyard. They did an amazing job and it looks fabulous. Justin stands behind all his work. I would highly recommend them.

California Turf is A+! I have used them on three different properties and they have been stellar each time.

We loved working with Parker and Ryan at Cal Turf. They did an amazing job at taking our ideas and turning them into a beautiful backyard. We appreciated their knowledge and guidance throughout the process including learning about the different artificial turf, how everything was going to be laid out and more. This was our first backyard we had to build from the ground up and working with Cal Turf made that process easier. There were a couple miscommunications but overall we really enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this company!! & we absolutely love how our backyard turned out!

Absolutely the most horrible landscape company out there! Please stay away and don’t waste your money!!
We made multiple attempts to contact Ryan about our grade that he was warned was not done right to begin with and he basically just ignored us!! We also still have not had our house cleaned on the side where they got dust and dirt everywhere!! Now the paint is ruined and will need to be replaced!!!
We are so upset we wasted so much money!!!!!!

We are very happy with our recent install done by California Turf and Landscaping. Mowing our lawn is the last thing we want to be doing in our retirement! Thank you for such great service and product.

California Turf and Landscaping installed a putting green in an area that had previously been an unusable hillside. They performed demo, grading, brick work - the whole nine yards. The area now has a putting green, retaining walls, a dg walking path, rock work, mulch and additional turf. They resolved any and all concerns I had throughout the process and I couldn’t be happier with the final result. I would highly recommend them!

We could not be happier with California Turf & Landscaping they were very professional, great to work with and incredibly creative. We discussed our landscape desires and they came up with an amazing design. Once the details were finalized the work started right away. Communication was excellent with the company It was outstanding. We were never left guessing. Everyone was timely, respectful, knowledgable, left the work area cleaned up daily. BE AWARE OF EXTREME OVERPRICING!

I found California Turf and Landscape through Angie’s List and was honestly shocked by their estimate.

They quoted us $6,669 for a very small landscaping job around our pool. Our backyard is minimal, and there was very little actual work to be done. A huge portion of that quote—over $5,000—was for labor, which they claimed could be completed in half a day.

The price didn’t sit right with me, so I did my homework.

I went directly to the sources for the materials (rock, sod, mulch), and the total cost came in under $1,000. California Turf and Landscape marked those materials up dramatically. I also got a second opinion from another licensed professional, who quoted us $1,950 total and flat-out said the original quote from California Turf and Landscape was wildly inflated. This $1950 quote included sprinklers, concrete, mulch and sod install. As long as we buy the materials ourselves, that helped the cost go down.

California Turf and Landscape will target naive home owners and try to milk them for as much money as possible!

I’m extremely glad I shopped around, because this felt like a blatant attempt to overcharge—especially on labor—for a straightforward, small-scale job.

If you’re a homeowner on a budget, I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before even considering this company. If money is no object to you, fine. But if you care about fair pricing and transparency, look elsewhere.

This was a brand new project for me, and I had a lot of questions along the way. They were always patient, professional, and kind. They never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or being overwhelming. Instead, they took the time to answer everything and made adjustments whenever I requested changes.

Clovis Lawn Services is definitely the place to go. After struggling with other companies in the area, Tyler has been nothing but helpful every time he comes around. I had weeds in my backyard standing at least 5 feet tall and he knocked down every single one. My backyard has gotten a total face lift. Not to mention, my front yard, the weeds took over my garden area and Tyler cleaned it up and even was kind enough to help fix some of the flowers and aloe plants. I’d recommend Clovis Lawn Services to my family and friends, without hesitation. If you’re needing yard work, this is your place. 10/10 do recommend!

The landscaping of our backyard presented technical problems given that the yard had a sharp slope and a concrete foundation right under the fence. The concrete foundation prevented us from regrading all the way up to the fence. After consulting many landscapers the solution that presented itself was to build a 50 ft. retainer wall and plant bed in front of the whole back fence and to sod the remainder. After receiving many quotes (some higher, some lower than what Pablo offered) we decided to go with Pablo for two reasons: 1. the quality of his product as evidenced in his Yelp reviews; 2. I got a sense that he and his father had the technical competency to address the technical problems presented by our site. (I didn't feel as confident in some of the other landscapers who offered a lower quote but were slower to understand the technical problems.) The product speaks for itself. It is beautiful! We also added a touch on the wall by having it stamped, which he included in the base price, and adding a light gray color (920 slate) for a few hundred more dollars. Pablo had been responsive to all of our concerns throughout the process and has proven trustworthy.

We’ve tried several lawn companies over the years, and Clovis Lawn Services has been by far the best experience. Tyler is an excellent communicator honest, transparent, and always goes above and beyond with our monthly lawn service. Highly recommend!

This is a great business. The owner is humble, personable and really cares about what he's doing. He loves his business and gives 110 percent each time. Anyvqurstiibs yiu may have he takes the time to explain to you and will give you a u an option you may not have thought about.

He is my lawn guy from now on. He made our backyard look like people live at our home instead of having very tall weeds.

Tyler was very professional and kind! He did a great job trimming up our hedges, bushes, trees, clearing out weeds, and also cleaning up our turf (was filled with pollen and random stuff from all the wind lately)! He was also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend Tyler for all your yard needs!
