AMAZINGLY kind and efficient locksmith! This review is a few months late, but I hate the BEST experience with Vitaliy! I have a large iron front door that was unable to open from the outside. I was referred to The Caring Locksmith by another well-known locksmith who was unable to take my call. Vitaliy stated that he had not worked on a door like mine before, but he figured it out and put it all back together perfectly! I would not hesitate calling him for ANY of my locksmith needs! Thank you so very much, Vitaliy, for getting me back in to my home!!

I almost didn't even write this review. What more can I say that these other 60+ 5 star reviews haven't? My personal experiences with The Caring Locksmith have been wonderful. I use him for everything and anything key related. I've had him re-key several properties and even extra keys for one of my vehicles (which SAVED ME HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS). He's always friendly, communicative, and fair on pricing. He's always krystal clear, and usually can get me in same day. I honestly can't recommend him enough. I even stock his cards at my business because I believe in people who do quality work and ones who are willing to do it fairly are a dying breed!

He did a great job, just what we asked to have done and was a very nice and courteous person.

I reached out for help getting into our home when we didn't have our key and these guys were terrific. Showed up when they said they would and got us back in our home right quick. Grateful to them for being on time and professional. Highly recommend.

This is an update from my previous review now that I have used Vitaliy's services. This young man is the real deal. Figured out the problem immediately with my gate locks. Adjusted his schedule for me because I was worried having access to my unlocked yard. He was polite and professional and his pricing is extremely fair. He worked fast to fix the problem. What a relief to find someone that has old school work ethics and integrity. I have a list of go to contractors and now I can add Caring Locksmith to my list!!!!

I want to say A 1 has the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. They were very accommodating & professional. I came in for a Key fob programming & they came through. Adam, owner, and Skylar are great to work with. We had 4 doors with security screens and 5 different keys to use for entries and 2 knobs to be replaced. Skylar did an amazing job rekeying all knobs and bolts, adjusting and replacing needed parts and now we have 1 key for all entries. A1 Lock & Key are knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. Their prices were reasonable for a job well done. Will recommend!

A1 Lock and Key has a new owner (Adam) that really knows his stuff and provided quality service. The fact that he is a US Veteran like myself made me feel good about supporting a veteran owned business as well. Whether you need a help with your safe, locks changed out, or a new key made for your car at a value, A1 Lock and Key can do it.

I've been coming to this locksmith for years. Unfortunately, it was recently sold to new owners. Under the new management, prices have more than doubled, and the quality of service has dramatically decreased. Both the new owners were very unprofessional and seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. I am never coming back to this place and would not recommend anyone doing business with them.

Under new ownership sign hanging in front. This place will rip you off. I had a coworker request 75 copies made of entrydoor keys. I picked them up and was told $590. I asked the guy if he told the price a ahead of time to my coworker, he said no, she didn't ask. The guy at the counter was rude about the whole thing too.

unprofessional made me wait all day and miss work. didn't want to answer or reply until I left a voicemail saying that is for making me fucking miss work and I'm going to post it online. then decided to call with some lame excuses with my guy just barely got into an accident wow wasted my whole day and made me miss work just to give me a lame excuse and then tel me do you want me to work on your damn car or not. no thanks I'll take my business else where.

I came here to get a replacement key for my car, and Marty is the man! He was able to create a working key for me even with my worn out key. Saved me about $250 if I were to do it at the dealer . I will definitely come back here for any other key services I may need in the future. Would recommend!

The service I received from Marty was great! He fixed two of my key fobs for a reasonable price and I will be back to support local business.

I went to A1 locksmith's to have a key fob programmed and cut, I had purchased the blank OEM key fob from a reputable online dealer, after Martin stopped talking to a friend he asked me what do you need as I showed him my key fob I couldn't say a word as he started telling me that it has a 85% possibility of failure because it's not an OEM part, I asked how he knew so he opened it and proceeded to tell me it was a refurbished one, he showed me a lighter color for the printing on the interior parts then began to berate me for buying on line and not supporting him because he is local and has a storefront, Martin stated that his fobs are OEM but not mine he mentioned Bezos and said he is ruining business, I said I didn't buy from Amazon I purchased from OEM car key mall they supply dealers with OEM keys then stated he never herd of them? I was in need of this key so I had him recode and cut took about 15 mins. Charged me mind you I brought in the parts he charged me $145.00 labor and a lesson on how I'm not helping local business, he showed me one of his supposed OEM key fobs no different than the one I had him program. I sure won't recommend this business but if you do go to him don't take your own part unless you want to be schooled on the ruination of his business and pay for his sermon. As I turned to leave he said good luck I said you to.

Nice people and an interesting store. They were fast and efficient, Great prices. I will be taking my key land lock needs to them.

We brought in a truck that needed a couple of key copies, but the original we had was bent. Martin worked long and hard to figure out a super complicated puzzle to copy the key, and didn't give up until he figured it out. Appreciate the hard work!

zero stars is what I would rate this company. my husband called this company about 5 days before they Finley had time to come by and open our safe that the combination had stopped working to. they jerry ringed it so only one number had to open it. charged us over a hundred dollars. soon after they had left my husband tried to open it again and it would not open. he tells me this and says he will have to call them back. but he tried once more and it opened. my husband passed away about 3 weeks later unexpectedly. Two days after his passing I needed his social security number to make arrangements. all our personal information was in the safe. I tried to open the safe with the number and it would not work. called the company and explainEd the situation to them. said they were sorry and would send someone out. long story short, 7 days later and a personal visit to the shop and only promises someone would be there soon.I called at 9a.m. Tuesday morning, same promise. I called at 11:15 a.m. same promise. I waited till 2 p.m. and I called again. same promise. I finally said we paid you for a service and it probably would only take 5 minutes to show me what I am doing wron g and he says he is not sending his service man for free. long story short I called another lock company in Fresno out and they said they would be by in an hour. They showed up ,opened my safe and we're done in 15 minutes. charged me $80 and I was very happy. 20 minutes after the other company I called guess who showed up. After 7 days and a dozen calls to them I had to make. never again will I use A1 lock and key or Ever recommend them! The story is alot more detail than I have written here. when I called the other company they said they have gotten many other stories of the same kind about A1 lock and key. Just because you live in Clovis,I would never call them!
