Constraction reviews in Concord, California

We have worked with Christensen Brothers for 3 projects. They are amazingly easy to work with. They did an office room addition. Great framing job with top notch wood and they made it match our house to look like it was part of the original house. Next project was a huge kitchen remodel. We knocked down walls, lowered a ceiling and lowered a floor to make our house 1 level. Original house was built by Shapell and had an elevated kitchen and dining room. Hazard!! Our house is built on a tension slab so this was not easy but Jesse and his team did it effortlessly. We had to join our second sink and dishwasher plumbing to existing and had to go through the tension slab. No problem!!
Our 3rd project was the remodel of bathrooms. Perfect, again, and we changed the layout and made more storage.
Our house is all updated and we miss the Christensen Brothers Crew. I never used a designer because Julie who is 1 of the project managers helped me through the whole design process. She is great!! Chris is another project manager who is easy to work with. The crew and subcontractors were always polite and on time. All projects came within budget and were on time. Christensen Brother’s worked around our life happenings which included parents passing etc. For many decisions, I was not even in town but we handled them over FaceTime or phonecall. Amazing people to work with.

This man is a superhero. A real stand up guy. A legend in his own mind. A suave devinear gentleman. A true lady killer. The Tom Brady of the cement industry.all around great guy. To infinity and beyond... LMAO . Chris really is a great dude.

Couldn't be more impressed by both the quality of work and customer service. Chris took time to walked through options and clearly align on a proposal, checked in at a midpoint to get input, and did a thorough review with us at the end. Some changes were made along with some additions, based on what they were discovering, and willingly made adjustments to the plan for our better interest. Chao and the team were impressively productive and precise. By far the best clean-up of any contractor/trade we have ever came across. They even took the tree we had removed to help the work, but wasn't their responsibility!
(We had downspout routing, drainage, French drain, and sump pump installed)

High quality work at fair prices. My go to recommendation for a contractor!

We are so grateful we hired Anthony and his crew for our kitchen remodel. This was a first remodel for us and we had a lot to learn. Anthony was patient and thorough throughout the whole process. He answered our questions, addressed our concerns and walked us through the steps as we moved on to each different phase. He gave us recommendations when we needed them and suggestions when we were having a hard time making a decision. Every team member who came to work on our kitchen was professional, courteous, efficient and attentive. They poured so much time and energy into making sure everything was done correctly and to our liking. The office manager, Mike, was super helpful in guiding us with the financial details and he did an excellent job communicating with us. Our kitchen remodel turned out beautifully! I highly recommend this company. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to our remodel RGC Construction!!!

We recently used RGC Construction for a major remodel of our house which included the removal of more than one load bearing wall, a new kitchen, installation of recessed lighting and new floors throughout the kitchen, living room, hallway and dining room. They were incredible! They were communicative throughout the job, often giving us great advice on finishes, how to save money, and options for solving inevitable problems that arise with a construction project such as this. They worked fast (our job was done in 3 months), they stayed on schedule and within their bid. Their entire team, and the subcontractors they work with, were amazing. We couldn't recommend them more!

I've used RGC Construction countless times while working as a project manager in the commercial space. Anthony and his team always comes through for me on projects from big to small. They are extremely professional and have a strong passion in their work. To me, that's one of the most important qualities in construction. That passion leads to a high level of execution and strong sense of pride in completion and quality. I will continue to use RGC and I don't hesitate in recommending them to others.

We hired RGC construction for our kitchen remodel and have no regrets. Everyone we dealt with along the process was very courteous and pleasant. The work crew was very respectful, polite, responsible, knowledgeable and took pride in their work. They installed all my new appliances also and made sure everything was connected/hooked up properly. They made sure everything was done right as if it was their own. My kitchen looks amazing and I will definitely hire them again for our next project!!!

RGC was awesome to work with. They are professional with their work start/stop times. They completed my project around the estimated date in our contract. RGC is easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend them.

RGC did a fence project for us recently and we look forward to working with them on other projects in the future. They were professional and flexible to our schedule. The crew was polite, hard working and did a fine job. We highly recommend RGC Construction.

I had the privilege of working with RGC Construction when we remodeled our office space in Pleasant Hill. It was probably the best experience I have had with a contractor over my many years doing office remodels. On budget, on time and with care for our space which was occupied at the time. Anthony and Mike run a great business and i highly recommend them.

RGC Construction did a great job on the EBB work! Justin was professional, efficient, and made sure everything was done right. Highly recommend their services.Thank you Justin!

Professional work ethics and courtesies are always on display while on the job! This instills confidence that your job will be done correctly and on time. Anthony and his crew are simply the best! I will continue to have RGC perform all my residential repair and remodeling needs in the future. I find their job bids to be very competitive as well. Go with RGC!

If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional contractor, RGC is the team to call! This crew consistently delivers exceptional results on both residential and commercial projects. Their commitment to quality, punctuality, and clear communication truly sets them apart. You can tell they genuinely care about doing the job right. We've trusted RGC with numerous repairs and tenant improvement projects across our commercial and residential properties, and they've exceeded our expectations every time. Fair pricing, outstanding service, and flawless workmanship. RGC is the team you can rely on. Highly recommended without hesitation!

RGC oversaw the remodeling of our Special Olympics Northern California headquarters which required the staff to move to a temporary space. The stress of remodeling can be a lot to manage, but Mike and Anthony were spectacular. They have such a high level of craftmanship and dedication to ensuring the project comes in on time and budget. Their attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and present solutions was key to the success of the project. They handled electric, plumbing, wall demo and construction, multiple types of flooring, painting, ceiling tiles and reframinging, door refinishing, HVAC vents, installing noise cancelling, and so much more. We so enjoyed working with them. The new space inspires our staff to collaborate in the office.

Mike, Anthony and the entire RGC team are great to work with. They've done three remodels for my pizza restaurants (Square Pie Guys). You can see their work at our Oakland, Palo Alto, and Campbell locations. They're honest and accurate about pricing and efficient with their timing. The work is high quality, and I enjoyed working with them. I'd recommend RGC to anyone!

The owner of this company is hardworking, skillful, responsive, and caring. He is a good communicator and kept cool under pressure. My experience with him exceeded expectations and I am happy to have worked with him!

Great company. Allen and his crew were great workers. They took out our window and replaced it with a slider. Very professional,
Quick in and out. Very reasonable price. I highly recommended them, and would definitely use them again.

Antonio and his crew did a great job with dry wall repairs, paint job in the bedroom. Would recommend

Incompetence and extreme lack of professionalism, unskilled workers with no supervision, atrocious workmanship, poor communication, lack of accountability, rude employees, nothing to recommend. Construction companies are a dime a dozen, take your business elsewhere.

Worst and unprofessional services. Recommended by my insurance but worst experience on quote and they are very rude. Never ever go with them.
