Lovely plants and flowers in bloom with great sale prices. I would prefer local nurseries, but for quick reasonably priced yard and garden items - Home Depot it is.

Home Depot in Concord typically has a great selection of plants (better than Vallejo). They get fresh deliveries early in the week, so Tues is a great day to peruse the garden area.

Only one person cutting wood I waited 25 minutes as he cut 10 inches off each piece of long trim for someone. I asked him for 2x8 in Cedar 8ft boards he claims he didn't know anywhere where they were at I would have to go find them and bring them to him. I found someone with an orange apron in the lumber section he actually was from the garden area but he offered to help me he could not find Cedar 2 by 8 by 8 foot we checked online yes the store has them but he looked at me and said I do not know where to look. I found another lady over on the next Style with an orange apron she said she was from the front desk and she knows nothing about Lumber. I hunted again I could not find it the irony is a month ago I bought two 8-foot pieces of cedar and had them cut to the lengths I wanted. A customer wanted to help me but he did not want to lose his place in line to have wood cut this was 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I know this is not the busiest time but please , where is someone to help me in the lumber department. I am 75 years old I cannot lift the 8-foot pieces I was going to have them cut in half so I could manage them. My experience was extremely frustrating.

I have had a mixed experience at the Concord Home Depot - it varies by department. The paint department is the best ever with a few older fellas who staff the desk and are so efficient, knowledgable & spirited (just plain fun). I also had a great customer service rep over in the air duct area - he helped me find a very strange fitting. The flooring department is always understaffed - once a single sales person was left with a line of 5 customers and phones ringing off the hook. If I had not had my kids with me, I'd have offered to pick up some lines just to take some of the pressure off of this poor gal. She tried to get a departing co-worker authorized for OT, but was turned down. Home Depot needs to throw some big money at this problem since this is a DIY socio-economic area of the county and they are hemorrhaging customers & selling opportunities & missed profit. I still go to HD for bulk cleaners, gardening supplies & paint. But, if I can get it at a neighborhood, family-owned Ace Hardware, I will go there in a happy heartbeat.

They have a reasonable selection of different plants and shrubs at a moderate price compared to most places. Quality can be lower in comparison though depending on what you get. I do like the selection of pots they have as they can be very expensive. Overall not a bad place to shop for the price. Definitely can be extremely busy though

The store experience is terrible. Not enough staff to assist with things behind locks. Instead you scan a qr to try and get assistance but it took 20 min to buy 1 item.

Just go to lowes or better yet amazon. There's also golden state lumber around the corner

This is the worst HD in the Bay Area. Customer service line always long, never anyone available to help down the aisles. Customer service is pathetic. There is a nice older woman helping at self checkout. I don’t know how she can stand to work with all these lazy people all day long.

Sue was phenomenal. And there was a very kind Asian gentleman whose name I can't remember helped me in the lighting section. Found a new 13W light for my unique kitchen light fixture.

When there are promotions here, you have to buy a lot of flowers.

BLS Contractors is a very great landscaping company and their customer service is amazing. If you have a problem with something they will make sure that the problem is resolved very quickly.

BLS has done an amazing job at our property. They provide updates, photos and all items are completed in a timely manner. Their prices and service have been outstanding!

The owner was on time, came when he said he would, does good quality work in a timely manner. Professional, responsive & good value for work done. Offered to do extra work on the deck structure. Very pleased with the work done.

Could not be more happy with the tremendous outcome of the landscape design and work by Pete and his crew at Pro Edge. We had a landscape designer put a plan together and engaged Pete and the Pro-Edge Landscape team to execute the plan. Once on site, Pete made a number of recommendations and worked with us to deliver a final product that was WAY better than the plans we paid for. He understands design and really listened to what was important to deliver a project beyond our expectations. Could not recommend Pete and his crew strongly enough - if you are deciding between contractors, go with Pro Edge, you won't be disappointed!
