Huge shoutout to Prodigy Works! Carlos and his team did an outstanding job trimming and removing two trees in our front yard. From start to finish, they were extremely professional, friendly, and easy to work with. The crew was efficient, respectful of our property, and left everything clean when they were done. On top of that, their pricing was very fair for the quality of work provided. I highly recommend Prodigy Works. I'll definitely reach out to them in the future when I need another tree servicing.

Manuel was great. His whole team are unbeliably hard and neat workers. I’ve used them twice and recommend them to all my neighbors. Also a great and competitive price.

Avoid this company, or get their bids in writing.

Found their business card in my mailbox, and I happened to be in need of some tree removal. Called and talked to Manuel, who came out and gave a same day estimate. Initially estimated $1700 for 5 privacy shrub/trees with stump grinding. I said I would get more bids and be back in touch. He then said $1500, no $1300 give me a really good deal. I said including stump grinding, he said "yeah yeah, we can start tomorrow."

Looked up their contractor license information, seemed legit.

I asked to be in contact with past clients. He said sure, but never provided any past client contact information (and I now see why). I called in the afternoon, confirmed $1300 with stump grinding, he said we will be out in the morning. What time? "In the morning." WHAT TIME? "In the morning." Um, 8? 10? when... "8".

No show at 8...9...10... I call Manuel. "Oh yeah, sorry man, my crew is on the way!" From Concord? "Yeah." but the crew magically appears in Napa 10 minutes later.

The crew makes short work of the trees, they were fast and didn't damage any of the backyard. I had my girlfriend put me on speaker with the foreman, as I was concerned with the pool piping near some of the stumps and wanted them pointed out for avoiding... the foreman said another guy does the stump grinding and they left...

Manuel called me right away, claiming now that stump grinding was always the $1700 price, not the $1300 price. Unfortunately my girlfriend already paid the crew. He also NOW offered to have me talk to past clients, as if I need that now...

I recommend avoiding this company. Manuel is a poor communicator, and I feel scammed. Shame on me for not getting bids in writing, but that is the lesson to be learned to avoid conflicting agreements made only over the phone with shady vendors.

These guys were professionals. They know how to cut and prune trees. We had 3 giant trees and 3 medium size trees. All trees were pruned as we expected. They cleaned after them and were fast. I will surely use them again. They were on time and knew what to do..

Manuel and his guys came to prune some trees for me and also did three stump removals and were very professional they made sure every thing was cleaned up and did such a good job. Will definitely be recommending!

Alberto and his team have worked trimming, pruning and grinding stumps on two different occasions. The Proficient team works quickly and when they are done, our property is immaculate! I highly recommend this company.
