    Good selection of common plants.
If you want exotic or out of the ordinary, go to smaller non chain nursery.
Probably better quality than Home Depot, but not as good as Roger's Gardens.
They are particularly bad at special orders.
Hardly ever get in what you order, and never call you back

Beautiful selection of plants and pots at affordable prices. I like the herbs and vegetables as well as the indoor plants best. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They will help you figure out what might be wrong with your plants at home and how to care for the ones you're getting.

Our local garden store. We’re very fortunate to have plenty of spots in the yards that need mulch, everyone is great to work with here. The few plants we’ve bought have all thrived to date and the next stop is some of those delightful and colorful pots.

This place was well organized. The plants all around were healthy and vibrant. It is alittle over priced. Home depots price are better. The selection is huge here thought. They have all kinds of plants and trees. Indoor and outdoor. Must see place for garden enthusiasts.

Fun place to take your time and enjoy the variety and quality of the selections. The staff is great -- Rachel was particularly friendly and helpful; they happened to be out of six packs of digitalis and Rachel made sure the buyer ordered some and called me when they came in. Great service.

I am in love with the whole franchise of the Armstrong Garden centers. They have a wide variety of plants and pots. It’s kind of a consistency that pots are so expensive but you get what you pay for and it’s hard to complain about such beautiful pots. Gorgeous. The workers are very attentive and willing to help anyone with questions or assistance. It’s a very well-kept selection and they do have a point system so I’d recommend signing up for that if you are consistently purchasing items from them.

Nice size place with lots of plants , trees, veggies, fruit and flowers to choose from.
They have everything you need to make your yard beautiful and your harvest bloom. There are lots of employees working and they are usually very busy. If you expect them to come to you, that will be a tough day. When I have asked for helped though, the service was outstanding and they understood what I was asking and either gave me insight or took me to my solution. Nice people, nice place, great selection and set up in a cool way with the store itself in the middle and an almost equal area all around it with everything you can imagine. The one thing I don't like is getting in and out of there. Be careful doing both as the entrance requires a left turn into their driveway across 2 fairly fast moving lanes of traffic that come to a stop about 50 yards behind you. Likewise, when coming out you have to merge onto this congested area and if you don't like to merge in a hurry you will be headed for the beach before you know it and/or will be blocking traffic while you merge. That's the best I can describe the driveway and I am sharing that for the demographic that needs the head's up.

Moved into the area a few months ago, this has quickly become a go to plant store! Their plants are always healthy and thriving, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The main reason I’m leaving this review is to note how helpful Fred is. I’ve been there twice where Fred spent a good amount of time going over all different options for my garden and is super knowledgeable about all the plants. Can’t wait to keep getting new plants from this location !

This is a cool location and lots of helpful people.. I’m a big fan of Armstrong’s. It’s my go to garden store.

Armstrong's is THE place in the OC for great (and not-the-norm) selections of plants and garden furnishings. Excellent selections of pottery, fertilizers and ground-friendly insecticides. The staff are welcoming and provide excellent advice, I wish I could take this nursery home to New York with me. Places like Armstrong's are the reason you support your local nursery, folks! Quality is king here. Prices are competitive, but you should expect to pay a little more for the expertise of staff who tell you how to plant, and what items are best suited to your space. We've visited the OC many times, and Armstrong's is always on the list for a stop.

All Armstrong Garden Centers are pleasant and promite easy browsing. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. We have three within 5 miles and frequent them all for our garden needs. Select plants are lifetime guaranteed. Sorry, not flowers.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. Despite my love for plants, my experience at this local shop was truly disappointing. The team that day was acting suspiciously, they were talking about me through their walkie-talkies as I can hear them.. I can only assume it was because of my skin color, as I’m an avid Armstrong Customer. This is saddening, and I want to emphasize that if you want to feel discriminated against or like a criminal, this is the place to go.

Armstrong is the last of the great nurseries. Fantastic customer service from people who love plants.

Armstrong Garden has the most beautiful selection of fruit trees and plants. My mandarin tree is still growing strong and It has been 4 years since I planted it in my yard. All of the succulents are very healthy and are best if you are into drought tolerant plants living in Southern California.

They have the STRAWberries..... Better get to growin your food. Great selection on dirt, 1.5 CU FT for 12 bucks. Organic cert. With no WOOD at all of any kind. That's like foxfarm status. Just add a lil sand and perlite for o2 soil. Gooo Edna's Best Potting Soil

First time going here and I love it at first. They have a great selection of plants, beautiful layout and atmosphere. Amongst other things I was looking at the cacti and succulents and found one I really loved and wanted to buy. Especially for the great price of $3.79. (There was a big sign hanging above the entire row. See image attached) Once I came to the register to pay, the succulent rung up for $9.99. When I stated that this was not the price the sign said above all the plants said, the employee showed me the price on the computer and just said that's the price. (No apologizing or anything) I decided to go back and double check as well as show a picture to the employee of what it clearly says. At that time there was a second employee and she just said "No this one is $9.99" I tried explaining my confusion and that it was a bummer because I was excited about the find. They both did not seem to care or apologize for the misguiding display. I bought my other plants and unfortunately left very frustrated about them disregarding what I was saying and had experienced. It started out so good and I did really like the place. This experience though makes me think twice if I would want to come back.
