Guys were fair, punctual, clean and great communicators, from Paul to the techs, everyone was great to deal with

always on time and great service

1. Plumber showed up for appointment 4 hours early with no prior notification. Said he "had called" but he didn't leave a voicemail message so I didn't know it was him.
2. Plumber did not identify himself by name, by company, or on his truck. He did not have any tools in his hand at the front door. Since there was zero identification, I asked him who he was and why he was here. He said he was a plumber sent by Evans. I asked him his name and he said "Paul".
3. Paul looked at shower nozzle and replaced cartridge. Job took 30 minutes.
4. Paul went back out to his truck.
5. Paul stayed at his truck for 10 minutes approximately making phone calls.
6. Paul did not come back inside, so I went out and asked him what happened and what he'd discovered. He told me he was "calling the office to determine the invoice". I said okay, well do you know roughly what it costs to replace a cartridge? He said "no and there were 2 visits for this job - 1 to buy the cartridge and 1 to replace it."
7. I asked him what roughly it was going to cost and he said he didn't know and would have been "happier had he not come out" and "only came out because" his prior job "was going to be a 2-3 hour nightmare" but turned into a 10 minute fix.
8. I called the office of Evans Plumbing and spoke with Tina who schedules appointments. I told her about what happened and she said she was "sorry about the personality conflict" - - NOT about Paul's unprofessionalism - - and I said that Paul had not represented their brand well.
9. She said they had "been in business for 30 years" and that "Paul had been there for 15 years" and hung up the phone.
NEVER HIRE EVANS if you want professionalism and expect anything better when you hire a plumber. EVANS SUCKS.

We hired them to help reconfigure the plumbing in a kitchen remodel. The crew arrived on time, they worked with me on making adjustments as complications arose, and were very knowledgeable and professional. They accommodated some scheduling conflicts with the condominium complex water shutoff requirements and made everything happen so we could complete the remodel.

Evans Plumbing is THE BEST! Over the past 7 years they have fixed a multitude of leaks in 2 different houses. Replaced a hot water heater and fixed a major irrigation leak. Paul and Greg are professional and incredibly responsive.

Prompt and courteous. Most importantly, done right the first time. If you're looking for a locally based plumber in Costa Mesa, these are your guys.

The service was fast and efficient. Paul quickly agreed that the flush mechanisms were old and failing to flush efficiently and were replaced along with adding a new toilet seat which was worn out and I broke it checking the toilet old toilet seat which was also replaced. Mario worked efficiently changing all 3 toilet flush mechanisms and adding a new seat. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
Mario told me he needed an additional piece for the toilet seat to finish the job on Monday.
