Although they have more variety than the big box stores, upkeep isn't what I'd expect from an independent nursery. Several of their display tables consist of rotten plywood and boards, making me question just what kind of critters or disease might come home with me if I were to buy one of the plants sitting on top of the decay. Numerous flowers, such as germaniums, are loaded with dead blooms. I didn't take any pictures, today, but may stop by again in a couple of weeks when I start shopping for spring bulbs for my garden.

It’s nice place to checkout all kinds of plants and learn some knowledge of gardening. Typically the items here is pricey and if you could get the similar plants in Home Depot, will be much cheaper. Good thing is it has all types of plants, fruit trees, flower trees, etc which hardly be found in other nurseries.

The plants all were very healthy and there were plenty of options. Everything was well labeled and there were so many helpful items.

The quality of the plants is great! We have bought plants from Costco, Home Depot and other big box stores. But plants from this nursery are exceptional quality.

My wife is a landscape designer and this is her go to nursery for all her clients...

One of the best places around to receive good gardening advice and buy healthy plants. Keep an eye out for unusual finds - I've purchased several unusual plants here I never knew about and won't ever see in regular gardening departments. If you are into Tillandsia (air plants), they now have a great selection of different varieties. Family-owned and operated for over 70 years, you should make this place a favorite.

Great nursery and great staff. I always find what I'm looking for and then some. The prices on house plants are usually good but sometimes they might leave you scratching your head ($80 for a 6" P. Birkin 🤨) but they always seem to sell everything quickly with a great restock following suit. Check them out and I'm sure you'll find what you need.

We came here to look at Christmas trees. Not sure why trees here are noticeably more expensive than other places, they seem like the same kind of trees. The selection was quite anemic as well. We ended up going down the street to get our Christmas tree.

Love their staff. They give such undivided attention every time we went, and really knowledgable. Their price were a bit higher than other nearby nursery but was so worth it for the service. Plus we didn't know much about plants so there was no way we would've made a decision if they hadn't helped so much.

Really enjoyed their calm and friendly nature. A beautiful selection of every kind of plant available. Easily found what we were looking for, got some expert advice from the Info Center, and were very encouraged as we left that we were on the path to a successful herb garden on our patio.

Only one star deducted for some plants being unlabeled, dry, and/or dead.

Loved the selection of plants at this nursery. This store had plant I could not find anywhere else like all red Japanese breed Shiso. One plant was 5 or 6 $...a little pricey but worth it for the quality and staff knowledge. I'm hoping to find a banana passion fruit here soon.

Definitely worth a visit to the south bay. Such a variety of fruit trees, flowers, vegetables, indoor plants, seeds, etc. they have a few plants from Annie's Annuals as well if you can't make it there. A bit on the pricey side, but all the plants are top quality.

I was interested in giving a gift plant for a birthday. I asked Dana, what would be a good plant for a person who has a green thumb. She suggested I give Daphnes as they bloom in February. She was very knowledgeable.
When I checked out, I asked Kelly the cashier if she could foil them as a gift. Although she wasn't certain if she could, she found the foil and radio'd out to Christina, who promptly came through.
Christina pruned my Cyclamen and foiled both plants for me. The entire staff was pleasant and eager to help me make this gift special. I appreciated it greatly, and we shared our pictures of cats during that time, which I thought of as a plus!
I would definitely shop here again, as it was suggested to me by another employee (Teresa). It was a great suggestion and a great place to find good plants and knowledgeable staff.

Lovely nursery with very well organized plant and pottery selections, including a well-marked selection of native plants. The prices are a bit higher but I don’t mind because it is an opportunity to support a small business. I avoid nurseries in the large publicly held hardware stores because of their history of using the profits to play politics.

This nursery is a joy to walk around in. Some of the staff annoyed me, they could have been a tad friendlier but they certainly work hard to keep everything in shape. I loved the vast variety of plants, both indoor and our. I personally would have loved to see more tropicals and the price point is a little on the higher end, but that’s to be expected with independent garden stores. Very reasonable place.

Staff was very pleasant, prices; not so much. $9.99 for plants in three inch pots is ridiculous... That was the least expensive plant I could find! Average 1gal variety ran $34.99, feel sorry for anyone landscaping at these prices! Overcharging for plants "just because everyone is" makes me feel sick! Be sure to plan ahead and use seed wherever you can. Sadly, there too $6.99 for a packet of seed; what the heck is going on? Order everything you can online! I am big on supporting local business... Sadly, nurseries won't be on my list for doing so.

This place does have many beautiful plants but is a little pricey compared to nearby Summerwind and Home Depot.

They have a great variety of indoor / outdoor plants and friendly staff who are nice and knledgeable.

Fabulous selection of great plants, soils, and tools; best most knowledgeable staff anywhere! plus, from two feet away, photos from today show that it's hummingbird-approved!

They are little bit pricy but the quality of their items are great! I will come back here again!

I asked questions about my plans no longer than 3 minutes in their information center , the person is so impatient and sigh every time while finished answering or when I asked questions . At that time ,not a busy hours, nor any body in the line behind me! And I am very polite to asked whom I thought were experts!

At first I thought she may have short breath or something, but I noticed it is not a case at all when she answers others.

So I write this review immediately without buying anything and left. Guess I won’t go back again. Will find stores who at least respect customers!!!!
Even customer couldn’t describe well about the problems of their plants. My old impression this place is used to be a nice place to visit, not anymore for me!!!

They have a really great selection of indoor plants, and very healthy.
