It’s a great nursery with a variety of varieties unusual and hard to find plant. A bit on the pricey side but worth it if you find your must have plant. Thinly issue I have; they never answer text or email when I’m looking for specific plant.

Horrible manager, comes into Bobby’s restaurant and starts yelling at the workers because of parking. With her child on her, how unprofessional can she be. Not going to visit this place at all. Don’t go there! Not recommended. Who fights workers because of parking. Like cmon, have some humanity and respect. She could have talked to the owner about this issue and not make a big show inside their restaurant and while having with her child with her. 🤦🏽♀️ disrespectful and unprofessional.

This place made us realize that we aren't bad gardeners, we were just buying products from the wrong places. Our plants have never been happier! We bought plants, soil and fertilizer from here. We also tried similar products from Home Depot and Trader Joe's. The items from Yamagami's are growing like they're on steroids and now we need to get more planters because they grew faster and better than expected. Our products that we purchased from Home Depot and TJ's are alive and slowly growing, or are dying. Save yourself the heartache and money, and just come here first.

This place is pretty nice and the variety and quality of some of their stuff is good but their prices are a bit overpriced. Even nurseries 20-30 mins away, including those in Santa Cruz are almost half priced. Their facilities are nice and great to explore but if you’re looking for better prices definitely recommended elsewhere.

Fast cashiers, helpful staffs, not so packed parking. -
Very nice place with a nice indoor selection. Succulent cactus selection was pretty small. But overall nice visit

I went looking for a specific type of bonsai as a gift for my boyfriend and Ruben found me the exact one I was looking for and cut it perfectly! His work is amazing! He even cut two different ones for me to choose from. Very helpful staff! I definitely will be going back in the future :)

The quality of the plants is excellent. Advice is plentiful. Soil is more expensive than home depot's, but of superior quality and well packed so you get more.

Inspiring garden center with some Asian elements such as Bonsai tools and plants, Buddha statuary. Broad cross section of plants of all kinds indoor and outdoor. Friendly staff. A good sense of care and careful selection about this place. Parking is easy and close to the checkout.

Best nursery in the valley. It's pricey but worth the cost. Plants are beautiful and staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.

The staff are super helpful. I was looking for perennials tolerant of shade. A staff member discussed options with me and I was quickly able to choose what I wanted.

We enjoy the variety and quality of the products at Yamigami’s Garden Center. Their employees have helped us to find the perfect plant on many occasions!

Had the best selection of shade-loving plants in the south bay, and the plants are all extremely healthy

Great Staff.
I didn't get her name, but she dropped everything to help me find non-toxic plants around cats. Made a purchase and will come back again 🪴 🐈 ✨️ ❤️ -
A lot of good maple trees and other plants but their prices are too high compare with Home Depot for the same plants.

Great selection of plants from common to rare. The plants look in great shape and well taken care of. The workers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable.

I had such a wonderful experience at Yamagami’s Garden Center today! Alex helped me choose an elephant ear plant and even repotted it for me with incredible care and attention to detail. He’s very professional, patient, and clearly knows so much about plants despite being so young — it’s rare to meet someone who combines knowledge with such kindness and passion.
I truly appreciated how thoughtful and friendly he was throughout the whole process. It made buying plants such an enjoyable and stress-free experience. Whenever I need plants or advice in the future I’ll definitely come back and look for Alex. Alex deserves a raise! 🌿 -
Lots of variety from common to rare. Prices seem more reasonable than they used too as well. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. A definite stop on any plant lovers list.

Strolling through this nursery was such a satisfying experience. There were specialty plants as well as common ones and most of them were reasonably priced. There were some very interesting garden displays and an entire section dedicated to cutesy pots!
