I was extremely pleased with the service and the work from CFY. I had a leak and Ben came out very quickly to take a look. He gave me clear options for repairing or replacing my 30 year-old roof. The estimate came later the same day and was reasonable. I decided to go with replacing the roof and they even dropped off a few samples of the shingles to help me in selecting the best option for me. I now have a new roof. The entire process took 4 days and was very smooth. We have a low slope section over our back addition, about 600 square feet, and it had been patched before with different materials that never quite solved the issue. After another leak showed up, We had CFY come out to inspect the area and explained that the older roll roofing had started to separate at the seams. He recommended removing that entire section and installing a modern membrane system with proper edge metal and new flashing at the transitions. The crew tore off the old layers, checked the decking, and rebuilt the area with clean lines and tight seals. They paid close attention to drainage so water would move off the surface instead of sitting.Highly recommend CFY!

Instead of suggesting a large project, he recommended rebuilding that transition properly. I contacted S.M. Construction and Associates because a dangling power line meant the electric had to be turned off and the line repaired. Salomon and his skilled electricians are commended for completing a professional and timely job. My expectations were exceeded because I was told by another agency that the process could take up to two weeks to complete the work and pass inspection; however, this job and passing inspection was completed in four days. I plan to use S.M. Construction and Associates again in the near future.

He does a great job for the community and he has high standards of integrity, knowledge, kindness and respect to the public. In addition to the above-mentioned, he has a wonderful family and great children under his wing that support him in all of his projects.

I talked to them in order to compare against highly recommended companies that were recommended to me by my engineer, to get a comparison. What a waste of time! Read this:

* Spent the least time to inspect
* The only one who didn't crawl into my crawl space
* Asked the least amount of questions
* Was the only one who hadn't read my plans beforehand, even though I had sent them, so I had to explain everything
* Was 20 mins late in the morning
* And now the best: sent an estimate a full 2X higher than the most expensive company until that date, not itemized like everyone else, just a flat number. Hundreds of thousands more.

Salomon Myvett is honest, responsible, diligent, and detail-oriented. My house had tenants for 12+ years and once they left, it needed a full and complete remodel. We worked together on my needs and budget and he made sure to respect both. Overall very pleased with the results which he delivered on time.

They ran me around for months on a project. I was first dealing with Santiago and he gave me a good quote. Them some other guy named Gave tried to come on the project with cowboy boots and tried to bully me around. The numbers all changed everything we agreed to and proposed when off the rails. He took over the companies social media and communications. Last review was 3 years ago and all of a sudden all these new reviews popped up in the last month which is sketchy. Looks and feels like a scam artist! Don’t trust their word they don’t honor it or communicate. Last conversation he asked if I wanted him to be transparent like he wasn’t before?! Transparency, Honesty and Communication are the only way to conduct business otherwise it ends with disappointments and bad business reviews!!

I have hired Axa Construction for a remodeling project. I had a unit in San Francisco that had a long term tenant that just moved out and I had to do a number of repairs before I could rent the unit again. Axa took care of refinishing of hardwood floors, repainting of the unit, installation of new appliances, repairs to the kitchen cabinets, replacement of all fixtures, replaced of old fans in the bathroom for new fans, updated all electrical outlets and etc. Basically they took care of all the repairs needed. They were professional, always on time, considerate and did all the work as agreed. It was very easy to work with Veaceslav. He was always available and responsive. Axa is now my go to contractor for all my needs.
