Water Damage Restoration reviews in Downey, California

On October 10, we returned home after 10 days of travel to find our house submerged in water due to a leaky toilet. The water saturated the second floor and completely damaged the first floor. After a bad start with an incompetent contractor, we finally contacted ServPro, which was recommended by our insurance company. Marvin responded to our call quickly and took care of everything. We cannot speak more highly about our experience with Marvin. He was thorough and knowledgeable and made sure everything was done perfectly. He went around the house, marking the areas to be addressed and explained the process clearly. Within a few hours, he assembled a team of highly skilled and hard-working individuals who worked non-stop for two days to cover and protect furniture, remove wet walls and floors, and make sure everything was bone-dry, clean, and free of mold. Marvin personally supervised the team on day one, Julian who took over the second day did an outstanding job completing the process. Within three days the house was ready for the next stage of rebuilding. Marvin and his team did an amazing job but most importantly, they gave us the confidence that our house is safe and ready to rebuild. If we could give ServPro 10 stars we would.

Danny and Floren were outstanding. We have used contractors in the past and I can say they provided the best workmanship I have ever received. They went above and beyond with my concerns of mess, cleanup, and costly repairs. They took the time to find the end of the pipe crack ( thank you Floren) and stayed later to expose the pipe, saving us additional time and headaches with the plumber. Their attention to detail and care of our home was as if it were their own. I cannot express my gratitude for them and the work they provided. Thank you!!

The teams were on time, courteous and professional. They prepared the areas and cleaned up afterward. They were careful with furniture and floors. Colton, the project manager, made sure the work was scheduled to move along without delays. He answered all of my questions and was sensitive to the stress of the situation. Steve did the completion inspection and clean up and was very thorough and helpful. This work was seamless and mad smooth by SERVPRO Downey.

I highly recommend ServPro of Downey. Edwin and Juan Carlos were here on the day that my water heater failed with the humidifiers and blowers…attempting to dry all the water damage. Ana Melendez, the project manager was God sent to me and coordinated all of my appointments and answered all my questions. She basically walked me through the entire process step by step. Maria Abina and her crew including Juan Guerra, Danny Ruiz, and Ruben M. showed up with their truck, coordinated the POD, and carefully packaged up all of my expensive furniture to be stored at their facility and in the POD. Edwin, Juan Carlos, and Julian were here to do the demolition and placed the blowers and humidifiers to continue to dry the water damage. Steve Klein, the Crew Chief, arrived to monitor and inspect the loss, check for progress, and make sure that all machines operated correctly on a couple of occasions. The exceptional customer service and professionalism provided by this company by far exceeds like no other. Thanks so much for everything!

Last week after hours I was dealing with water damage in my home. I initially spoke with Lupe at Servpro who was extremely helpful and professional. She assured me I will have service sent to my home that evening. Juan Carlos and Juan Daniel arrived on time. They got straight to work and were so helpful. They assessed the damage, guided me through the process and answered all questions. They took great care of my belongings and had the approach that nothing was too much trouble.
I received a follow-up call from Lupe, who was absolutely delightful and ready to assist in any possible way.

Servpro’s came out after we had water damage in our home, and after drying it out, they then had an amazing pack out team- YES, they come and pack up your whole house for you! Then took out all the effected areas. We were in a time Crunch and thanks to their team staying late and after hours they got it finished in time.

We experienced one of a homeowners worst nightmare: a leak, not even from our house but it damaged a lot of our property. Our insurance referred us to Servpro and they were AMAZING from start to finish. Lupe is their scheduler and she want above and beyond with communication, accommodating our schedules and being extremely personable and very quick at responding to texts. The first group of workers that came did the inspection - Juan Daniel and Angel answered all of our questions about the process and expectations. They were very thorough throughout the demo and dry out process and different crews included Juan Daniel, Daniel and Juan Carlos and all of them were just a pleasure to deal with. Julio and Jesus picked up the equipment once everything was dry and while I wasn’t home at the time, my grandma said they were very nice. Any questions or concerns I had were handled quickly by our project manager Colton and even though he got our case after it had started he was a helping hand through all of it. I loved how well they communicated with updates on their ETAs to any small changes in the schedule; you don’t get a lot of that anymore or it’s very wide windows so it was a very good change for me. There was a small issue with plumbing(no fault of their own) and they sent out Daniel and Jessie to make sure there was no active leak and no water that needed to be dried. They laughed at my terrible jokes, even Daniel😂. Servpro Downey is very proactive and GREAT at communicating. Heaven forbid we ever have to go through something like this again but if we did I’d want them to handle it for us and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mitigation company.

ServPro came out and provided excellent service. The Staff (Maria, JD, Edwin, and Julian) were all professional, and took great care of us from our house being flooded from a burst pipe. They bought fans and humidifiers to dry things out. They neatly pack up all furniture and cleared out all of the damaged floors and walls. I was impressed and please the They arrived promptly everyday and was very pleasant and great to work with

I was so impressed with this company. We had a slab leak and they were there quickly and always showed up on time for the appointments. They boxed up our affected belongings carefully and were so organized and polite. Super happy with all of their work. Shout out to Julian A, Edwin L, Alex N, and Juan Daniel R for all of their help!

First off I want to say when you need restoration to your home it’s not a fun place to be. However, Ana from the Downey office was the most amazing sweet understanding person. She made sure to assure me of everything going on and put me at ease. Then Edwin and Juan came to my house. I let them know my son is asthmatic to make sure to check everything. They went beyond my expectations, they checked everywhere to my surprise the Water did more damage then I thought. They set up the dehumidifies to restore my home then a couple days later Edwin came back with a crew to pack and remove everything I didn’t have to do much of anything they began to remove all the water damage floors and check all walls. Edwin is an amazing person as well. He didn’t leave until everything was checked twice by him, and made sure I was happy with the results. They both did such an great job at keeping me in the loop and explaining every thing for me to understand this process. As if that wasn’t enough Ana called me to make sure everything was good and that everything went well. Thank you both for being so kind.

Julian Argueta, our team leader from Servpro is absolutely amazing. Him and his team cleaned up all the smoke and ash after the fires. He is very kind, hard working and professional. Highly recommended!!!

Great Experience with Servpro of Downey ! I had severe hot water damage from a broken pipe in my home. They came in with the adequate equipment to inspect and remove all water damage inside my home. They were very communicative with my insurance company during the process. Special shout out to Steve Klein who performed initial inspection of damages and also Lead technician Juan Daniel Ramirez who did a great job leading his team during the tear down process. Juan (JD) kept me informed of work process status daily and made me feel confident of their work performed . Also shout out to his crew Christopher, Jesus, Juan Carlos and Antonio who performed worked. Can’t forget Carl Ornelas who took my first initial call when I was searching for the right company for these services, he did a great job explaining their process and what to expect. We had a water loss In our home . My insurance called Out Servpro of Downey. The production manager Sal Galindo showed up 20 minutes late for the inspection and “forgot” his tool. He returned in 30 minutes with a technician to inspect my home. The technician inspected as Sal Galindo seemed a little off and under the influence. He was very unprofessional. We’ve had several water losses in our home so we can say we’re somewhat experienced with these type of things. Just from hearing him rant You can tell that Mr. Galindo has no experience whatsoever. I ended up going with with a different company.

This is a premature review… cleaning and restoration after the Eaton Fires is still taking place. I have to say i am very happy with the clean up so far! My house was in the middle of fire and smoke… definitely had some
ash and soot. Servpro crew came in and cleaned every nook and cranny and it also smells amazing. Thank you Thom your crew was awesome. Julian was very helpful and communicated nicely with us on the cleaning progress. We are looking forward to the end result., but very happy so far! And i will add photos.

We had a water leak in our home that affected 2 bedrooms, the entire hallway, the bathroom and a garage. Kevin and Jonathan and their crew have been so helpful and diligent at such a stressful time for my family. They made an effort to keep me updated throughout the initial stages of this work and I'm so glad they are the ones helping us with this project.

Julian & his team did an absolutely stellar job today of unpacking almost 200 boxes, getting my primary living space, dining area & kitchen back in order & able to be used again.
