Progressive Landscapes designed and installed our outdoor back yard paradise, and we are more than happy with the results.Don was very professional, responsive and attentive to the detail we wanted in our back yard. The team did an amazing job and completed our project ahead of the projected timeline. I would recommend Don and Progressive Landscapes to anyone looking to build their dream back yard.

First off, coming from the construction industry myself, I know first hand that most contractors over promise and under deliver. Progressive Landscapes blew me away....... they did a fantastic job transforming my backyard into my own personal resort. I absolutely love my new outdoor kitchen and water feature. The owner Don was extremely helpful throughout the process from concept, to design, to finished product. He also did an amazing job communicating with me and his crew. He gave me regular progress updates to keep me informed on how things we progressing . Antonio the foreman, and his crew were knowledgeable, curteous, effecient and hardworking. I highly recommend Progressive Landscapes to anyone in need of Landscape Construction. They are a 5 star company in my book!!!!!

The team of Jordan, DJ, Jesus and all their staff have been awesome to work with. They were very responsive to all of our requests and had some great ideas to add in order to provide us with our dream backyard.

Jordan was our initial contact. He was very responsive, punctual and professional. He told us some things that they could do that others said could not be done. And they delivered. My wife was very impressed with his ideas. That evening, we decided we're going with this company.

They started about a week earlier than anticipated. We started working with DJ at this point along with Jesus and his crew. All the staff respected our property. They worked hard staying on track.

DJ kept us updated each step of the way and was on-site several times during the week if not almost daily to check in on progress and keep us updated on what was going on or what the next steps were.

At the completion of the project which included a mini remodel of our pool (tile change, new decking, etc), an outdoor fireplace, and outdoor kitchen, new patio cover, all new concrete patio and walkways, new plants, trees, irrigation, drainage and lights, we were ecstatic with the finished project. The estimate for the project was what we expected with no surprises. We did go slightly over budget but that was our fault for adding features as we progressed.

Overall, we are super happy with our backyard remodel project from beginning to end.

Randy Gove and his team transformed my small backyard from rock and dirt (new construction) into a lovely oasis filled with an array of deciduous and evergreen plants that were carefully selected with respect to Sacramento area conditions. He worked with me to make sure my preferences were taken into consideration and that I received the type of lavender I wanted. I had a couple of change orders and Grove Landscape showed that they were flexible and implemented the changes with ease. When I look at what was accomplished, I can only say that I am thrilled. I felt Randy and his team had my back and that he was honest. I definitely recommend Gove Landscape & Construction; they communicated well, were knowledgeable, and incorporated my personal style.

Randy and his team completed a comprehensive backyard renovation for us including moss rock retaining walls, redwood planter boxes, outdoor lighting, repair of pondless waterfall, new irrigation system, plant and tree installation, and flagstone pathway. Gove Landscape Construction is the BEST!!! Randy Gove and his entire team are professional, honest, knowledgeable, experienced, creative, hard working, timely and truly passionate about their work. After construction of a new pool, Randy and his team removed debris, repaired irrigation, drainage and lighting and re landscaped both our front and rear yards. They had great ideas on how to best use our space and then they transformed our backyard into a beautiful oasis! We appreciate the various blooming plants and variety of colors. Their customer service throughout and after our project has been amazing too. Randy Gove and his team transformed my front yard into a beautiful, sustainable and relatively low-maintenance oasis. It wasn't inexpensive, but I feel it was worth every penny for the care, communication and craftsmanship that Randy and his entire crew delivered to me. I found Randy to be extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, and pleasant to work with, and look forward to working with him again in the future on other projects in my back yard.

I bid out to multiple landscapers, and Randy came in the middle, in terms of cost, but at the top in terms of attention to detail. I also liked that he lives in El Dorado Hills, like me, and is deeply involved in the EDH community. On the more practical side of things, Randy worked with me to make this landscaping fit within my budget, line-item-listing certain elements that added to cost, and getting my buy-in on a comprehensive plan before starting. Once we settled on that plan, Randy's crew immediately swarmed the front yard--this was not a project that dragged on for months! Gove Landscape Construction did a total transformation in 4 months' time, including extensive masonry and carpentry work.

Randy and his team recently completed converting my front yard from an unloved patch of dead grass and mismatched plants into a cohesive landscape that is beautiful for myself and an inspiration for the neighborhood. Gove Landscape Construction was the most positive experience we have ever had with a landscape company. We have moved several times in the past and we had issues with prior contractors. The whole experience working with Randy and Adam, from beginning to completion, was the best experience we have ever had and are so thankful we found them. They redesigned our front yard from the cheap front yard that our builder put in. They are amazing at landscape design and which plants work where to provide a yard that will have year-round color and interest. Along with all new plants, they installed new concrete steps, drip lines with new valves, and a new sprinkler timer. They programmed everything including the weather antenna that went with the timer. They spent time with us talking through what we liked and they always had great recommendations and truly brought a boring front yard to life. Everything is so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing with every plant perfectly placed. They finished the project much earlier than expected and all of the workers on site were very polite, professional, and skilled with many years of experience. After all was complete, my husband and I are beyond satisfied with the work and results. We would give them more than 5 stars if we could. We highly recommend using Gove Landscape Construction.

Randy and his staff provided landscaping services for our front yard, finished last week, including Design and installation of the requisite irrigation system. Their selection of landscape trees and plants were spot-on for our wishes - 4-season color, drought-tolerant and deer-resistant. They even installed a dry creek bed to help with drainage from up the hill. We will definitely use them this fall to do the second part of the front area. We couldn’t, be happier with Randy and his staff and highly recommend the services of Randy and his company.

I am so impressed and pleased with the full-yard landscaping Randy and his crew completed for me last month. He and Randy-His-Plant-Guy are artists and perfectionists. They envision the full project and then complete every detail to bring it into reality. I had initially hesitated to contact him after seeing his completed projects, thinking he would be way out of my budget, but his bid was right there with others' and he kept it where I needed it. I feel like I got great value with this project. I also appreciated how they explained every step they took, from excavation to drainage to hardscape to sprinkler system to planting. I cannot say enough about the fantastic job GOVE Landscaping did designing and installing our new Granite Bay backyard, including all grading, drainage and irrigation. They started from scratch with a flat piece of dirt and created a beautiful dream yard complete with stamped concrete patio and walkways, a big fountain, custom rock benches, turf, nightscape lighting and stunning plants and trees. Randy Gove himself hand-drew the landscape plan, after several meetings and trips to the nursery, to incorporate my specific design elements into the finished product. Randy is extremely knowledgeable about landscape design and plant selection. To him it’s like creating a painting. When it’s time to start his crew comes with all their equipment and work non-stop. They are neat, courteous and experienced, and happy to get input from the homeowner. What impressed me the most is how anxious Randy is to please the homeowner and do what they have in mind, even if it might not be his own personal taste. But he also is not afraid to make suggestions to enhance an element to make it even more attractive or functional. I interviewed 3 designers and there was no doubt Gove was the best, and the right fit, for this job. (And, he was the most expensive. You get what you pay for!) Gove Landscaping made this project fun. The transformation each day was amazing. If you want a professional, personable, honest, knowledgeable, create and dependable approach to your landscape job, Gove is your guy.
