The staff are extremely knowledgeable. If you have any questions about taking care of your garden, landscape, or even indoor plants they can help you find the right solutions and the best plants.

We were so impressed with how spacious this place is. They have a variety of the plants and gardening supplies to choose from. It is fun spending some time here whether you buy or not. We definitely will shop again.

Nice plants but expensive. My lemon tree was a good deal but the way.

If its a plant that can grow in your region, this store will have it. The staff is very helpful with information on plants and giving ideas for which plants may do well in certain areas. I'd recommend taking pictures of the space you're looking to add a plant to as this will help the staff give you the best suggestions. Sign up for the newsletters for info on sales, tips for plants, and other ideas.,

Super beginner friendly plant and home goods store! I wanted to find an easy plant that could be kept indoors and they had a sheet made that gave me all the information relating to light and water. I walked out with a snake plant :).
I'll be coming back to grow my ever expanding plant family :) -
Great place to get ready for summer outdoor enhancements. I live the vibe. Though a bit pricy. You can find some great deals if you just casually stroll through the garden and the store.

Beautiful place, huge selection. Friendly staff 👍 lots of...everything!

What a great nursery - knowledgeable staff. Friendly, and encourages you to bring in your dog with water and treats for them. The variety of plants from succulents, perennials and annuals was tremendous with substantial numbers of each kind. Plants seemed healthy and well cared for. Inside were all kinds of watering solutions , garden decorations and patio furniture. The number of umbrella, table, chairs, sofa, fire pit combinations on display was certainly sufficient to allow you to make a good choice for your outdoor living.

Our family loves Green Acres. We have been buying our plants, pots, compost, bird feeders, and garden furnishings from them for years. We shop at all the Sacramento area stores. The people who work at all the Green Acres locations, as well as the brilliant individual who handles their social media, couldn't be lovelier. Five-Star customer service, selection, quality, and ambience.

Green Acres Nursery & Supply is a wonderful location to select just the perfect landscaping items and plants for your home. The selection is so huge, if you can't find what you like, you probably just don't know what you like. Not only do the have a complete supply of landscape plants, shrubs, grass, and trees but they also have a huge selection of landscape decorations, outdoor grills, and outdoor furniture. This was my first ever visit to Green Acres Nursery & Supply, do yourself a favor and check out Green Acres Nursery & Supply. If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs-up 👍. Thank you

If you're looking for strawberry plants and more variety of lavenders than 2 (Spanish & French) types at big stores, then this nursery is for you. They also have great bark sizes for orchid along with rocks for top dressing your plants. Only wish they would carry the clear orchid pots too.
Happy gardening! -
This is the first time I've been here and I am totally impressed. From their roomy interior to the canopy overhead so you don't get heat stroke looking at the plants to the well organized products so you can find things easily. I'm a fan. I love that there is a huge separate greenhouse for the indoor plants too. Made orchids easy to find. I didn't have much time to shop but what I saw impressed me. I will definitely have make some extra time to go back!

I'm telling you this... no comparison from buying plants at Lowes vs. Green Acres. Who knew what kind of plabanos they sold me. So now I trust & believe in GA. Any questions? Ask their friendly staff. It's so peaceful walking through their garden displays and nursery. I love them so much I've been to a few locations for my last minute veggies ( shishitos romas onions jalapeño etc), flowers (lantanas) & seeds (sweet peas & cosmos)

There is something for everyone who gardens here. My starter plants took off, and they are thriving. Bell peppers(all colors), cucumbers (pickled and regular), my asparagus, Serrano peppers, and watermelon all doing very well. Thank u Green Acres.

I am absolutely in love with Green Acres for the unique plants they carry to the knowledgeable and helpful staff. I can always find a friendly face. Diego has been my go to guy for a lot of questions from orchids to succulents to soils and pots. I have been a transplanting fiend the past 3 weeks as it has been my happy spot during some stressful days. Loving how my “Birds Garden Sanctuary” has transformed over the years and Green Acres has helped bring some unique finds to add to the lushness. I make visits Whenever I need a lift to my day, whether to make a purchase or just stroll through. Always a sense of peace.

This is the best nursery I have ever shopped at. It has more choices and the plants are more healthy than at The Home Depot and Lowes. If you love gardening, you will love this place.

Not my favorite Green Acres for several reasons: very few staff available in the plant nursery area and even fewer staff that actually have any reasonable plant knowledge. Extremely disappointing and frustrating!
I guess it’s all about the bottom line and the store manager hires seasonal or temporary staff with very little plant knowledge and experience. The hourly pay is appalling too and the weekly work hours fluctuate… so this is probably the reason they’re not successful in attracting the right people with suitable skills.
If you want better plants in terms of quality and variety, it’s best to not waste your time here, and visit the first, original Green Acres that was established in Sacramento on Jackson Road. I also recommend the Green Acres in Auburn, which is the best of all the Green Acres nurseries! -
I love Green Acres. Today was a scouting trip. Take photos and plan. One thing I don't like is not enough people working the check stands, only 2 today and a very long line down the center of the store.

Being neurodivergent... smells are such a big deal to me... this is one of my favorite places to go... all the amazing colors 🌈 outstanding smells 👃we've been relandscaping and maintaining a full garden... so it's very convenient 😁

This is the most outstanding, gigantic, beautiful, reasonably priced nursery I've ever seen. Their prices are even better than Amazon on some products. We bought plants, pots, fertilizer, decorative items, and many other interesting yard goods. Love this place. My gang will be back soon!! If you love a healthy, wide variety of plants, you'll love Green Acres in Elk Grove.
