Wowza! What a beautiful place! I was visiting from out of town and went in with my daughter. We share a love of plants, and she knew I would enjoy this store. She was 100 percent correct! It's like eye candy for all things botanical! It was so clean and well stocked and visually pleasing to the eye. They sell all kinds of stuff from pots to outdoor furniture and more kinds of trees and plants than I've ever seen in one store. We had so much fun looking around. The employees were all very nice but one man in particular was wonderful! I wish I could remember his name! He was outside and asked if we needed any help and then we started a conversation with him. He said he was retired, but that he loves plants and working outside, so he got a job here. He was so sweet and obviously happy with sharing his love of plants! A truly stellar employee! Anyway, this place is awesome, and you should go in and look around for yourself! It's a cool place!

Green Acres is the best large nursery store in Elk Grove. I'm here every spring looking for new plants and flowers for my yards. They have the best selection and quality in town. The store also has a lot of outdoor decor, furniture, and cooking tools on the indoor sales floor. The workers here are also very knowledgeable and friendly.

I totally loved this place. There’s so much variety of plants, potting soil, planter pots, outdoor furniture, and great ideas for outdoor gardening projects. I am absolutely intrigued and inspired by so many things that is in the store. I couldn’t resist but purchased a few indoor and outdoor plants. Will definitely comeback for my spring and summer garden needs.

I don't know how this store doesn't have 5 stars! I've only been maybe a dozen times on the last few years but I've thoroughly enjoyed myself each time. I've always found what I'm looking for, sometimes on my own, often with the help of one of their amazing bf staff members! Great prices, family owned, and they source locally and support other small businesses whenever they can!

Nice plants and good selection. I had to drive all the way back because I was mischarged for a plant . It was labeled wrong, something I do think the cashier should've noticed as it was more than $52 for a hanging plant that was on sale and people were buying them up for$20. I was busy getting the plants ready for her to scan so I didn't notice until after I got home. The cashier who helped me get my refund was super helpful though and was very apologetic. Check your receipts!

Their selection is impressive and well-organized, making it easy to explore.

One of my favorite parts was the greenhouse—it’s beautifully designed, filled with lush tropical plants, and kept nice and cool with air conditioning. I spent a good amount of time in there just admiring all the greenery. If you’re a plant lover, it’s a little slice of paradise.

Checkout lines moved quickly, which was a bonus. While you might find some items cheaper elsewhere, there are plenty of things here that you simply can’t find at other places. Their inventory is wide-ranging, and they still offer solid deals.

We picked up a variety of herbs for our herb garden, and I was really impressed by how healthy and well-maintained all the plants were—everything looked fresh and vibrant.

We’ll definitely be back for more plants and maybe even some barbecue supplies next time!

What’s going on Green Acres? I came here on Saturday 10/11 and majority of the houseplants were dead. I couldn’t find one hanging plant without a problem. Majority of the plants in the greenhouse area were wilted and brown like they haven’t been cared for at all. Some of the plants pictured were $55+ and look like this.

We had our front yard completely redone. Added sprinklers, sod, flagstone steps, plants and bark. The Heedeland team went above and beyond for our home. The process was very smooth, no surprises and they communicated throughout the entire process. Their excellent communication was shocking and truly GREAT because it’s almost unheard of in the construction industry.
